Somerset Park

This is my second time going to this park its very nice and small! Its around the 99cent store and restaurant’s and little stores so that a plus! Love the playground espcially the swings! Super fun. Also the open space is good to for pinics, partys etc. Good area to jog a little.

Great small neigborhood park… what’s not to like.

Great park for the small community that surrounds it. I have the pleasure of working here and it’s nice to see a mixed bag of kids playing together after school. All of the kids know eachother and enjoy playing together. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a decent park to bring your child to in the Hughes middle school area. Elementary — high school kids come by here and play basketball, tennis, tag, or just chill. Most of the kids live pretty close and their parents come by frequently and check on them which is nice. There’s a nice shady area with tables, lots of trees, an activity room and an office where you can drop by and get information on youth sports or classes/​camps going on throughout long beach.
