This ad on craigslist that allowed small pets seemed appealing. I inquired a few days later to an updated post(which mentioned nothing about pets). Dee emailed me back and let me know the apartment was not available for viewing yet but I could apply. She also asked me «Can you please tell me a little more about yourself. How many people will be living there? Do you have any pets? When do you plan on moving?» In other words she was pre-screening me. I described myself and let them know that I would have a small dog. She simply replied«sorry, no pets.» She meant: no pets for the wrong tenant. Why would she ask me if I have any pets and not simply tell me that no pets are allowed? Excellent business practices you have there, PFF. Maybe improve your screening practices so they’re not so transparent. You could brush up on your email etiquette as well. This is a business right? Be more professional.

I would not rent from them again. It has been a little over 30 days and this apartment has been constant problems. Also very poor communication with the landlord and or real estate agent. It’s really strange when you are trying to speak with two people who share the same email address and who are omitting facts constantly. Very unprofessional funding services.
