Homemade Mexican food cannot be beat! The owner makes the best chicken soup ever! The mushroom jalapeño tacos are to die for. Everything on the menu is good. Great family owned and run business. A little gem in Long Beach. Love this place!

Came here with my husband and two of our three kids… It’s a small place so we were a little bit worried since our kids can get pretty loud(ages 4&1), but we went during an odd hour so there was only two other customers there. I got the chile relleno and beef enchilada plate and husband got the pork enchilada and carnitas taco plate. We shared a shrimp cocktail. We eat a lot of Mexican food and I was really impressed with the perfect flavor of the food here. Not too salty and not drenched in the red sauce that enchiladas are usually drenched it that is too over powering. The chile relleno was so good and it wasn’t over salted or over flavored… It was seriously the most perfectly flavored chile relleno I’ve eaten. It wasn’t soggy either like some places. I took a bite of my husband’s carnitas taco and omg the carnitas were so flavorful and not dry. The shrimp cocktail wasn’t a specialty dish so I didn’t expect much from it. It was still pretty good, but we’ve had better in places in East LA… Still good though. When I was pregnant with our third baby I craved it so we went on the hunt for it all over the place… We will definitely be back. I just didn’t feel that bloated hard to digest and headache from over salted Mexican food after eating here.

Came here for dinner and was very impressed! The flautas were so good, we took 3 orders to go! They were crispy and filled with the most tender chicken and beef. Unbelievable! For dinner I had a carne asada taco salad and it was delicious! The meat was super flavorful. I can’t wait to come back the next time i’m in California!

Close to home and close to my heart… Linda’s Mexican Delights is quite the delight! Home cooked style Mexican food. We come here for breakfast and dinner and are never disappointed. Ive had the albondigas, which is very flavorful with full of veggies and chicken albondigas(meatballs). The chile relleno is made perfect. Chicken hard shell tacos and potato tacos are so good! Also the chimichanga is . I can say that I’ve tried about 85% of the menu and have not been disappointed! We met the chef, who is also the owners daughter. She is passionate of what she makes because we can taste it in the food. She told us that the recipes are her Dads recipes! She was a lovely and humble young lady. This is a great family business. I know a lot about Mexican food and though it will never be as good as moms home cooked meals, this is the place that we go to when we need to feed our heart.

Damn! Drove all the way over here on a weekday just to realize their menudo is only served on weekends. I WILLCOMEBACKFORYOUONEDAY. Got their albondigas soup instead and it was pretty good. The broth is extremely mild(I actually added a little salt in it) but is colossally perfect for bad hangovers or stomach sensitivities. My favorite part about the soup was the hand-rolled chicken meat balls. They remained tender and extremely flavorful; almost smoky… just delicious. A little overpriced for something I kind of feel like I could have made at home(minus those meat balls) but nonetheless good. I got a Large to-go which is about 2 bowls worth of broth and it was 8 bucks. The parking lot here is tiny and difficult to work with.

Good beans and excellent taquitos and chile rellenos. Most of the food is fresh except their tortillas. Awesome customer service.

I love Lindas! I’ve been going to this spot since I first moved to Long Beach and it has yet to disappoint. The portions are great and the quality is above and beyond the price. I recently stopped by for some Albondigas as I was nursing a flu and wanted some nice soup. Man, they always hit the spot. My drippy nose was cured and the hunger pains, GONESO :3 the soup had a TON of veggies which is great for when you’re sick and the broth, really flavorful. I normally come here for burritos and tacos and the like but this time I just HAD to write a review… Thanks Lindas for helping me on the way to wellness! lol

Yum Yum and did I mention Yum! Been coming to this restaurant for 12+ years. Never gets old, food is always delicious and AUTHENTIC! Been to a few places in my neck of the woods that claim authentic Mexican but end up falling flat on their face! Linda’s service never lacks either. Staff is always cheerful and attentive. Couldn’t say enough great things about this gem of a restaurant. For a restaurant with 250+ Unilocal reviews and still having 4.5 stars, they must be doing pretty much everything right! Yum Yum Yum!

I asked the server what she recommended between Huevos a la mexicana and Huevos rancharos. She suggested the former and I went with it. A few minutes later she returns with the plate of huevos mexicana and a bowl of rancheros sauce so I get the«best of both»! Needless to say it was delicious, 5 stars for the food and the service!

a casual small family run Mexican restaurant. I liked that it’s affordable, tastes fresh and just has that home style simplicity to it. Decided to get some albondigas soup and a side of chile relleno. They hit the spot without being too much food. I liked they sold soups, including menudo on the weekends, and served breakfast all day. They do have a parking lot which is a little tight but at least they have parking. The place is pretty casual and small inside so just be wary of that in case you were looking for something for big groups or something more upscale.

Enchiladas are quite delicious, as are the wet burritos. Chile Rellenos are amazing too! And the salsa, Mmmm can’t get enough! I have yet to try something that is NOT delicious from this place. There are lots of Mexican spots in Long Beach, but only one Linda’s. Parking is a little tricky, but that’s a problem everywhere out here. Check it out or else you’ll be missing out!

First off, let me tell you how amazing these young ladies are that work here. They are incredibly friendly and always make you feel as though you’re at «home». It had been a little while since I had an opportunity to make it before they closed, but they remembered me and made feel like an old friend. The food is always delicious and affordably priced. They have great traditional food items and have introduced me to a few new things. Make sure you try the potato tacos, they are delicious!!!

Omg!!! So apparently my mind was lost eating at some other place that was not Lindas and boy am I sorry for it. So angry with myself because i could’ve been eating this delicious food years ago. Lets start with my favorite meal. The Albondigas soup! Well if this isn’t the best soup I’ve had like ever, then i guess i have yet to have soup. The waitress here is so sweet and remembered us instantly. Well it’s probably because we came yesterday. Lol but none the less she is really nice! I hope to earn the regular badge and try alot of new great food here at Lindas. Yum got to go my food is almost here.

I really enjoyed the fish tacos. The price was very fair. i will eat at Linda’s again soon. The fact that it’s a family owned restaurant, shows in the taste and quality of food. The service was very friendly too. Very good place to eat. I will tell my friends about my good experience.

Okay. All I have to say is this is the Best Mexican food in long beach hands down(and I’ve had a lot of Mexican food for a Guero). Homemade salsa(amazing) homemade chips(yes) and authentic dishes. They have been around in LB for over 30 years started by the father and named it after the daughter who now runs it. I discovered them in the early 90’s on Broadway and followed them to Redondo &10 th.(can you tell I’m huge fan? Lol). Ponchos is good, Enrique’s is fancy and Los Compadres is up there too but Linda’s is quaint, family run restaurant with excellent food.

Such friendly familial service. They didn’t have their outdoor seating set up when we got there, but agreed to wipe it down and let us sit there anyway(I don’t like A/C, so I’ll almost always choose to sit outside if it’s warm). My favorite thing about my meal(chicken tamal, pork enchilada, albondigas soup) was the soup. Well, and the price. The price was a good chunk under $ 10 for all of these things. But the meatballs in the soup were nice, too… clearly hand-formed and spiced with care, surrounded by a mild, comforting broth. The rest of it was well-made as well — the meat was tender, which was especially appreciated — but the flavors were just a bit flat for me. There was no spice whatsoever(of the heat variety). It just tasted like something out of a jar without the extra touches a cook would throw in on top.

Average Mexican food with great people/service. I have not been here in a while but once in a blue moon I’ll drop by if I’m staying close by. This place is definitely a hole-in-the-wall restaurant. The food is okay. Honestly, nothing fancy. I had a cup of menudo, which was tasty but not too spicy. I love my menudo piping hot and spicy. The cup I received was warm and flavorful. I had to add the spice myself. I also had the shredded chicken flautas. They were good. But honestly, anything made with flour and is deep fried is a guarantee to be good. The chicken was not dry, it was juicy, so that’s a plus. Honestly, the food is not out of this world but the people there are nice. The first time I visited, I had mentioned it was my first time and they gave me free chips and salsa. If you’re hungry and in the area, stop by. It’s not my first choice but it sure beats MVPs right across by a mile.

I knew from the first tasted of the salsa this place was a winner. The carnitas tacos and chile relleno are not to be missed! It’s magic in your mouth and in your tummy. I live in Texas now and I missed real Mexican food. Linda’s is the real deal! Real Mexican food doesn’t need much. That’s the beauty of it. Well seasoned and cooked meat and CORN tortillas. The food tastes like it’s made with love. Sorry Texas, you can have your flour tortillas stuffed with fried chicken and«queso»(which we Californians know as Velveeta). See the glory of real Mexican food at Linda’s Mexican Delights.

I found this on Unilocal after taking Iz-my pug for a walk by the beach. It’s located in a small strip center and family owned & operated. We arrived mid am on a Sunday for breakfast. I called earlier and inquired if they had a patio which they offered a small one and they are dog welcoming. The inside dining is on the smaller side and the outside patio has two tables for two but was sufficient for what I required. The waitress who is the daughter of the owner brought chips and salsa for starters which were yummy. I started off with a cup of in house made menudo which contained two types of tripe and hominy. It came with menudo mix, limes, cilantro and brown onion on the side. I followed with the breakfast plate of machaca, beans and rice with flour tortillas which was also a home run in flavor and generous portion. Overall a superb breakfast, reasonable, solid service and they accept credit cards. I’ll definitely be returning again when I’m in the area!
