Never again. This used to be an excellent place up until 3 years ago. I took a friend last year for lunch and was very excited to show her the best seafood. I over rated it but that’s because 3 years ago I would’ve given it a 5 star. She ordered 2 shrimp ceviche tostadas, the shrimp were completely raw and they weren’t even deveined. My fried tilapia was alright… I’ve had better. Their big thing is the shrimp empanadas. Not this time… Salty and almost no shrimp inside. I noticed the owners weren’t there, when I asked where they were. They said on vacation. I thought no wonder, even the service is bad.
I decided to give it one more try. I took my husband for lunch, he ordered a campechana. I ordered a fish tostada and shrimp empanadas. Different cooks and servers, I asked for the owners they gave me the same answer «they’re on vacation» The campechana was horrible even though we added lime, ketchup. anything on the table that we can add. Still only a strong fishy smell and flavor. The empanadas again not like they used to be and the shrimp still not deveined. The worst part the waitress kept coming back interrupting our meal asking all kinds of personal questions about our relationship and telling us her life story. Which we didn’t care to hear but didn’t want to be rude. The ceviche tostada was pretty good up until I had already eaten half of it when a long hair came out the bottom. When I told her there’s a hair in my tostada she kept saying. It’s not mine, it’s not mine, I wonder who’s it is. She kept insinuating it was mine. Well lady not only was my hair in a bun but I don’t have long hair. She went off telling me her husband is going to barber school and he told her that there’s nothing gross about hair and nails? To which I said. you may be right but it is pretty gross when you are paying for a meal and you find a hair that’s not yours in your plate! She took the plate and asked if I wanted another one. I said no thank you I’m not hungry anymore. After all that when we went to pay the very expensive bill she had the audacity to tell me. Oh by the way. The cook said it wasn’t fair to charge you for the tostada even though you ate half of it, so I didn’t.
Terrible food and unprofessional service.

I wish they hAve more employees working, too much work for only one person.
But besides that, I’ll come back to this place again

Very disappointed. I ordered the Empanadas and the Shrimp Ceviche. The Empanadas and chips for that matter were fried in dirty oil. The shrimp in the Empanadas weren’t de-​vained and tasted fishy. The Ceviche wasn’t too bad. It would have been better it the shrimp were chopped up.

Omg. Best ceviche tostadas ever. I always order the shrimp ceviche which is served raw with pure lime juice and this green chile sauce that’s HOT!!! But delicious. Their shrimp enpanadas are fried and served with a side of the same spicy sauce. And let’s talk about their micheladas… Your choice of beer with a splash of tomato/​clam juice, a dash of hot sauce and salt and lime rimmed glass. It’s the perfect drink to enjoy your sea food with. The place is tiny but super clean. The owner is extremely nice and welcoming. My friend ordered the carne asada plate with grilled shrimp and he devoured it! I guess it was good. Haha. They have a second location on Santa Fe too :)

Best shrimp empanadas ever! Fried and crispy to perfection. They have really good tostadas– shrimp, mixtas ect. Everything taste very fresh too. Their green chile salsa is very good if you can take the heat. We usually go for lunch but pre order over the phone so we can eat right away. The owner is very nice and through the years we’ve eaten there, her english has improved so much. Its a great place!
