Went for travel immunizations before going to Southeast Asia. Called to book an appointment bright and early and it was pretty smooth sailing. Pricing was on par with other locations and they take cash or credit card. Recommend going here if you need to get your shots before traveling. Insurance usually doesn’t help with travel immunizations.

It is by Apt. Only! You need to call the Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services to make an apt. (562) 570‑4000 They were super friendly and answered all my questions.

I am going to travel to S. America so I inquired about prices: Hepatitis A — $ 41; Hep B — $ 50; Yellow Fever — $ 100; Thing is, if you have insurance, your insurance should cover MMR(measles/mumps), DTR(tetanus), and Hep A, B, Polio, Influenza, and many many more due to the Patient Protection and Affordable Health Care Act effective August 1, 2012. Check here for more info(may differ for your state/insurance): If you have insurance, and you are paying for these shots you should not be doing so. Check with your insurance to see if they cover certain shots and go to a hospital that is covered with your insurance and they should provide these shots, bill the insurance company, and the hospital should also have the other shots(which are not covered) that you need which you will need to pay out of pocket. I am no expert, but this is just my experience in search for travel related immunizations.

Great service. Great prices. If you are a LB resident, call them a couple weeks before you go to your far-flung destination for an appointment. My appointment was at 8 am and I left by 8:30. They will keep you healthy! They were much more knowledgeable about long trips abroad than my doctor and the shots were about 1⁄5 of the price!
