Catalina Lounge

Located inside the Catalina Express Terminal in the City of Long Beach.
I don’t know why people complain, it’s a self-​service. You go up and order, pay and sit and enjoy your meal. They have a have hot selection of pancakes, and French toast. Chips/​salads and fruit in a nice presentation.
The lady at the counter was a little gruff-​but I didn’t take it personal… culture thing!
I’m enjoying my French Toast which came with eggs for a mere $ 5.95.

There’s not much of a variety here so make sure to eat before u get here or not if u get sea sick… there was one person working here but it was slow too.

Service by OLDer waiter was an utter fail. Seems like ol’ willy with the glasses forgot to hit «send“So– stick to DRINKS if you are ahort for time.

I give this place one star only because the waiter/​bartender was welcoming and good. Other than that, the place food is so bad/​disgusting! that even a normal scramble egg tasted like a rubber! I ordered the egg breakfast and i kid you not the potatoes came with it was microwaved where the center was still frozen! The avocado had black around it.
I guess this place food quality is bad maybe they don’t care because maybe they are not going to get repeated customers?
Next time i know to bring my own food when i am traveling to Catalina.

Stood around with some other people looking for a waitress so we could get coffee/tea…took about 10 minutes for her to appear. Given, she was carrying plates of food for patrons then ran a round of drinks around. But we just wanted our coffee or tea so we could go. I don’t think it’s her fault at all– the place was understaffed for the morning rush, no idea why there wasn’t a second person working. I am impatient when it comes to early mornings and caffeine.
As a note to myself– if you get there early enough the breakfast smelled good (though I expect it would be slow service). The venue is a bit small as well. Definitely not a specific destination but if you’re at the terminal– it’s an option.

The Catalina Lounge is located inside Catalina Landing. It offers free popcorn for its customers. It serves alcohol.
My bf and I stopped here only due to lack of options. We had the coconut shrimp. The passion fruit iced tea was by Republic of Tea and it was refreshing. Service was very attentive.
