Hate this Carl’s 3rd time I’ve come at nite grumpy dude working drive thru we have pull to the front. Takes forever, cold food, service sucks asss compared to am crew. I’m done.

Slow fast food. Worst combination ever. If I didn’t need a bean and cheese burrito for my daughter and there were any other place on my way home I would go there, in fact next time I’m driving out of my way to anywhere but here.

First the positive. Very nice & efficient staff. Made the mistake, while watching NFL playoffs to get the $ 4 burger/chicken/fries/soft drink. Burger was fine, fries were good, but the chicken? Gimme a break. More breading than actual chicken, which was very salty. Real disappointment. Chain should take it off the mkt or redesign, buy less salty chickens or less breading.

I enjoy coming to Carls’ for breakfast because I like their biscuits. This is not my normal location, but was in the area for an early morning appointment and decided to stop in for breakfast. The cashier was friendly and knowledgeable. The wait time was adequate. My biscuit was over cooked so was dry. The biggest thing was that they did not have decaf coffee available. The cashier told me they didn’t have a pot for decaf and it has been missing for some time. For those of us with medical issues where we can’t have caffeine this makes it difficult.

My friend and I have been coming here a few times a month for many years. Until recently the food and service has been great! Now, the service is slow and we have had difficulty getting decaf coffee for the last couple of weeks. Today there is no decaf available! Still no decaf!

Came through the drive thru for lunch today and seriously received horrible service. I was coming because«Anthony» was amazing. Always a smile on his face and always very friendly. However, the last few times he hasn’t been there. The girl that’s working the window never smiles, gets order wrong, slower than molasses. Seriously get competent employees and better managers. Couldn’t even get a thank you for coming out of her. I’m sick with a 101 degree fever and still working with a smile and friendly disposition with my customers. I won’t be back until Anthony is back!!! BTW, the food sucked, my salad drenched in water and no flavor!!!

Worst employee training ever! I spent a half hour in the drive thru with only two cars in front of me. The person taking but Orders needed to ask everybody in front of me their order at least two to three times before getting it correct. It was not the fault of the people in front of me as I had my window down and was listening. The manager of that store should be fired for incompetent training and hiring. I will actively go out of my way now to avoid eating there again. I tried to call the restaurant since I had a lot of time on my hands in the drive thru line to ask the manager what was going on. The phone number would go straight to a fax machine. Doesn’t look like anybody really cares at that restaurant so I no longer care about the restaurant.

Got there 15 minutes before they close and they already had their doors locked. I should’ve drove off to another place, but hesitantly headed for the drive-thru lane. There were only 2 cars ahead of me and it took at least 20 minutes for the whole process, and it wasn’t the customers taking a while to order either. They took a while before taking the orders, yet I later noticed that there were at least 3 employees working inside. Definitely not fast food. And when the guy gave me my change one of the dollar bills was all beat up with a chunk of it torn off… really? I asked for a different dollar bill and of course they had more. Got home and took out the food I ordered. The large fries container was just half filled! What a ripoff! And the six dollar burgers were cold. I had never had one of their six dollar burgers until now and it was such a disappointment. The meat was flavorless. The little bit of lettuce on the burger had more taste. Maybe they gave me a different burger? It definitely isn’t worth $ 6. Thank God I had a coupon ‘cuz I wouldn’t even pay $ 4 for one of these burgers again. I should’ve gone to Burger King across the street, at least it would’ve been cheaper food with some flavor.

Absolutely atrocious. Was craving a burger in the morning and they did not put onions on my burger and charged me an extra 40 cent right? So I opened my burger and there was no onion! I immediately walked in the carls jr showed my receipt and told them to please add the onion. They were so rude! OMG! I asked them again to please ask onions and she wanted to charge me $ 1 for 3 strands of onion what kind of bullpuckey is that? The clerk has no manners and no decency or respect for human life!

Worst service I’ve ever had at any Carl’s Jr. How do you forget a customer when your looking at the screen with their order on it? 15 minute wait. And yet they serve other people’s food who also ordered to go and yet still forgotten. no excuses when you see the order on the screen. Ridiculous.

One the best Carl Jr. I have ever been to. The staff is helpful and dedicated to making your experience worth while. The food is always hot(at least for me) and I have never had to complain about anything really. If you are in the area I would definitely recommend this joint for a quick and hot lunch! The atmosphere is clean and a 50s dinner look(standard for Carl’s Jrs) and it is clean and well maintained. Here is the star break down! 1 star for service 1 star for quality of food 1 star for cleanliness and organization 1 star for consistency 1star for atmosphere

Since I can’t give 0 stars I’ll give 1 star. I work nearby and have stopped here for lunch on several occasions. They always mess something up, but this last time I ordered a chicken taco salad and got an entirely different salad. Manager and staff are useless. Will never come back to this location again

ABSOLUTELYHORRIBLE! There has not been one time, that we have come here and they actually got our order correct! I’m being completely honest! NOTONCE! They will ask, does your order look correct on the screen but does it seriously really matter!!! It’s not like they read it or even double check it before bagging the order. Come on now, take the extra time to actually make sure orders are correct… it takes less time and money to ensure that the order is correct the first time! The last time we were there, we ordered my fav the Santa Fe Chicken sandwich and it was missing the Santa Fe chili, isn’t that the main component of the Santa Fe Sandwich!!! The prior time, once again ordered the Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich and I got the Chicken Club Sandwich. Seriously, is it rocket science to read the screen and get the order correct!!! We got our son, a cheeseburger with no pickles and I swear, it’s looks like they added extra pickles…5 pickles for a kids cheeseburger meal, really!!! That is absolutely unheard of 5 pickles on a kids burger! I guess, NO means EXTRA! Management, time is money and you guys are wasting a lot of it by having to redo the food and offering free meals to replace incorrect orders! Unless Carl’s Jr just likes to basically throw away money, heck if that’s the case… throw some my way!

GREAT customer service here(at least in the drive thru). My daughter swims nearby and we come here when I don’t have time to pack a dinner beforehand. The line always moves quickly and the people working here are so unbelievably nice that I don’t even consider going somewhere else. I usually order a side of fries and a quesadilla without spicy sauce. My kids eat it up and my wallet is happy. I am definitely a satisfied customer. Thank you!

Shocked that there isn’t more positive reviews on this place. The experience is awesome! There’s an elderly lady that serves you your food, she’s the sweetest funniest person ever. Brings such a positive aroma to the place. My good was on point, fresh, and made quickly, as fast food should be. The young boy that took my order was on the quiet side, honey smile, speak louder and you’ll be great!(I know I use to work at McDonalds lol). Other then that this Carl’s Jr is the best in Long Beach. My go to place. P.s for those complaining about the Spanish being spoken, I’m sorry you weren’t blessed to speak the language(;

Service is amazing here !! I get roughly an hour to have lunch and this is always a go to place. The ladies(for the most part) running this place are great! Yes there is the loud lady so serves the food and gets you condiments and ACTUALLY she is Panamanian not puerto rico… She is NOT rude and remembers everyone who comes in. The food is also up to par. I’m really glad that I spend my lunch hour here!

The service here was outstanding and fantastic. This was my first time to come to Carl’s Jr. and it was delicious(I got the double Western bacon burger with Criss Cut fries). My wife got the single western burger with fried zucchini. The zucchini wasn’t very good and when we asked to switch it out the manager was so nice and polite and gladly switched it out for the sweet potato fries which were delicious! They have a salsa bar here was just adds to the flavor of the burger. If you want a quick and decent burger I would definitely suggest to stop by here. My wife and I will definitely be returning

Killing time at Carls Jr. Grubbin on a Big Carl $ 5 combo. Ive never seen so much nonsense from employees. I walked up to the register, mind u there’s nobody in line and maybe 2 other people sitting down eating lunch. I reach the register and an elderly Woman of Puerto Rican decent hokds her hand up to my face and says wait! She leaves the register and starts cleaning the eating area. Shes yeling back and forth with her co workers in Spanish. After waiting for 5 minutes I yell over the counter asking can I order. Manager comes up, takes my order. I ask her is this really appropriate. All this yelling and waiting to order. She answers me in Spanish. Im so confused right now.

I don’t like fast food places. Considering the great hamburger joints in Long Beach, why even go to one. However, if I had to chose one, then I pick Carl’s over all of them. The hamburgers are filled with lettuce/tomatoes/onions and the meat is a better quality than all the other places. This Carl is really no different from the others. Living on the east coast where Carls doesn’t exist, I find them a little more refreshing than all the other fast food joints.
