Seems like a lot of fake reviews for this place to make it seem tolerable and good. Terrible. Bad service. Won’t be back. Try the big catch in downtown. Way better.

We ordered 1lb of shrimp and 1lb of crawfish. The sauce was Pretty close to you know what… BC. It comes with a side of fish sauce for dipping… Sooo different and good! I almost forgot about the salt pepper with lime. I live in long beach, I will definitely keep this place in mind when I’m craving crawfish. No lines, no wait, good friendly service, and good entertainment! No need to drive to OC and wait in long lines to eat. Must try!

It’s down the street from my house. Cambodian restaurant located up stairs. Nice owners and place is semi-big but it’s also a night club at night for older adults. It’s not open on a Tuesday but every other day it is. This is my where to go crawfish boil/other seafood grub. Affordable price and they have their own style of sauce. I ordered 1lb Shrimp, 1lb mussels, 1lb crawfish and 1lb clams. Cajun extra spicy with garlic including spicy sausages. Heart this place!

Are you Unilocalers kidding me? I just drove 25 min. to a scary, dark, pugly place. The sign said Fri-Sun open from 12AM and it was 2:45PM Sunday when I got there and yet, it looked dark and the open sign was not on. An elderly woman came out but we had a hard time communicating since she didn’t speak English. She waved me in and I took a look at the menus. There were 3 menus and one of them was for the seafood cajun. I pointed to crawfish and she shook her head do not have and also no crab and no clams. All they had was prawns. Well, I thanked her and left. What a waste of time… The restaurant looks broken down and icky. How can any one four star this place?

Was looking for a boiling crab equivalent in long beach. This, unfortunately was not it. If you are used to the thick, rich cajun sauce at bc, this in comparison is more watery and not as flavorful. The fries, which are not on the menu, lack any seasoning and are just plain. Overall the food was good, just not outstanding. Prices were a bit higher than boiling crab as well.

I had high hopes, love boiling crab and thought I would love this place. First off, at night this place looks a little shady. Then when we walked in there was just one family at the table. They have tvs on both sides of the wall and I sat across from my bro so I asked him to put the football game on another tv, he told me to just sit on the other side of the table. Service was slow, the waiter guy was mainly just texting on his cell while we waited. The food was… Ok… I am praying I don’t get sick in the morning. The sauce was good but it seems like they just put cooked shrimp into the sauce at the end, the flavor wasn’t infused. The clams were not cooked right and we had to pry the shell open, the meat in the clam was small. It is also a rip off, a side of rice was 2.99, seems a little greedy… Then we asked for a bowl and he was asking why, I don’t feel like I have to justify myself, please just ask what size and get it, don’t challenge me like the way I eat is dumb because I do something differently than you. All in all I will not be back, ever again. It seems like a Cambodian restaurant that just decided to serve seafood since it is the new fad, they really don’t know what they are doing. Do not come! You are warned.

It’s great to have something like«Boiling Crab» or «Claws» out here in Long beach. I don’t have to drive out just to eat some good seafood! Great service and the people are real friendly. It’s a new business and they are getting off on the right foot! Big screen TV’s everywhere to distract/entertain you while you wait as they cook your food. They have beer and other kinds of drinks as well! The food is so good! Their sauce they use is on point and it’s great to have more limes and much as you need!

Heard about the place from a friend. great word of mouth advertising for the business. support your local businesses! the restaurant is located upstairs on the second floor and you can take the elevator. once you reach the second floor by stairs or elevator, it’ll be the first door you encounter. anyways, i love cajun/creole food; so since i heard about this place in town; i had to try it out. first time i came, i was a little bit disappointed because they didn’t have many options as to choosing your sauces to mix your seafood in. that disappointment went away as soon as the food came out. the seasoning sauce they have is AMAZING!!! as my girlfriend says, she feels like the old lady from the franks red hot sauce commercials when she says«I PUTTHATSH! T ONEVERYTHING!» You literally can! i had it with some rice, some clams, the shrimp, the crawfish. heck, i was eating the sauce by itself! its just a mouthful of good food. the shrimps are big. the food is flavorful. & not only do they just have seafood, they have cambodian and thai food. what did you expect? its in cambodia town. lol & they’re doing it right. for those who get off work late on the weekends and craving great food, they’re open until 2am so come and enjoy the food and live music entertainment. if you shop at the FOod 4 less on redondo and anaheim, the back of the receipt paper actually has a coupon for the restaurant for 30% off plus a soda. it expires at the end of the year. so come celebrate their grand opening! spread the word, its GOODEATS! as to prices, my girlfriend talked to the owner and they’re planning on implementing a happy hour really soon with 1.99 beers and a dollar off of the seafood per lb.

Once known as the golden villa, the owners has reinvented their business and spilt their restaurant into two different establishments. It’s located in the heart of Cambodia town. The boiling crawfish & seafood house has a smaller menu than most Cajun/creole places you go to. But don’t let that stop you from actually trying their food. Their seasoning sauce is beyond comparable. I, myself am not a fan of boiling crab and a regular at Claws. But I have to admit that the boiling crawfish & seafood seasoning sauce is the best by far. & if you order very spicy, your taste buds are going on an amazing adventure. The establishment is quite new & they’re going thru some trial and error. They use to serve larger clams which made your portions a bit smaller. But it didn’t make your food less enjoyable. Their shrimps are huge and the service is the best I have received in awhile. The owners are very friendly and they check up with you often asking if you’re enjoying yourself, along with offering what is available. The prices are a little bit high, maybe a dollar more than market price for seafood. But I live in long beach and I’d rather pay a dollar more than driving to garden grove for the same cuisine. I’m planning on suggesting to the owner about maybe implementing a happy hour, to maybe take a dollar off seafood and beer. They seem pretty open to suggestions to make business boom. Last but not least, they also offer Cambodian and Thai food if the Cajun/creole isn’t your forte. They also have live entertainment on weekends at night. & apparently karaōke lol what kind of Asian person doesn’t like karaōke? Come support your local business and enjoy fellow Unilocalers :)
