Totally the best place along the Anaheim Corridor in the LBC for authentic French pastries, and awesome sandwiches. I went in asking for a particular pastry, which apparently is popular because they were out of those. The owner said if I waited a few extra minutes, my order would be special-made. So of course I waited an extra two minutes and was not disappointed! They are friendly, accommodating, and great community people.

Warm day and it felt like the perfect time for banh mi sandwich. The one thing everyone should know is that there is no area where you can sit to eat. There’s one or two chairs you can sit on while waiting for your order. It’s in the same Plaza as Monoram Cambodian restaurant. I ordered the chicken sandwich. It was a little dry but alright. The bread was fresh and soft. I would suggest that they put pickled vegetables into the sandwiches. Unfortunately, I haven’t had a near perfect Vietnamese sandwich yet in S Cal. For sure I’m gonna have to go look for a place in little Saigon or Garden Grove.

My fave sandwich place in Long Beach, CA. The mini sandwich bread & ingredients are fresh & delicious. The sandwiches here are a bit austere. There is not much in them. They average around $ 3. My current fave the Vegetarian is $ 2.75. Good Value, Bread, Veggies & Meats. The problem for me, is I miss my NYC sandwiches. The bakeries are so much better in NY than LA. The better NYC bodegas serve a mean sandwich. Most of the better NYC

Omg, the owners are so nice! I stopped by this morning to order a BBQ pork sandwich. Only after I ordered the food, did I realize they cannot accept credit cards. No biggie, I decided to go to a near by ATM, but OFCOURSE I didn’t have my debit card on me! When I explained to the elderly owners, they both immediately told me it’s not a problem at all. I apologized profusely and promised to go back in 2 hours. And yes, right now, I’m back at my hotel room and eating the sandwich. It is delicious, by the way! I know where I’ll be in two hours! Thank you, Baguette Paris, for your kind service. I’ll be sure to stop by next time I’m back in Long Beach: D

I ordered a chicken sandwich and there was no vegetables??? Wats the point of the sandwich. The chicken was tasty and bread soft. Im willing to try it one more time but i want my veggies. Im only going to give it 3 stars because of the missing vegies

Really nice lady works here. I was definitely out of my element when I showed up, culture shock. She was patient and walked me through the menu. My sandwich was very cheap and not too big — that’s a nice change since most things in our current culture are oversized. I may try something else next time since the texture and taste of my sandwich filling was not something I was used to. Not their fault, but mine not knowing what I was getting into. Probably my favorite part of my visit here was my chat with the nice, older lady who helped me. It was like Mom was making my sandwich.

Disappointed in their chicken sandwich. Not tasty at all. Thee chicken itself was very dry and very small. The price is very cheap, maybe that’s why. I just wouldn’t recommend this spot but I really wanted to.

The trick is to go early. I went at 9:30 in the morning and the baguette was fresh and delicious :)

The fresh bread is perfect, soft fluffy goodness on the inside with the perfect accommodating crunch on the out. Baked with love. Crisp fresh veggies and awesome pâté. Every meat option is equally delicious. The owners are extremely polite and friendly. A Must try experience.

Was doing my daily mile walk today when I walked passed this little place. I decided to check inside and the sandwiches in the board looked good. I ordered the vegetarian bahn mi. For me it was good but I noticed the lady put a little bit of the veggies inside. I would’ve liked it she kind of packed it but I’ll just ask for extra next time. Ordered an extra baguette to go and a thai iced tea and they were good. Id come back again and it’s nice that I live down the street from this place.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Anyway, huge banner in the front; «buy 2 sandwiches, get one free,» which then leaded me to stop by. A gentleman before me in line ordered the deal, hassle free. When I order my 3 sandwiches(1 being free), the lady in front replied, «no no if I keep doing that I’ll be broke.» I do not understand the logic behind her misleading sign, or the way she plans on dealing with customers. In the end, I simply did not order anything because of her overall attitude.

i’m wavering between a 3 and a 4 because i only liked 1 of the 5 sandwiches we tried that day. but there are specific products coming out of this shop that might earn a 4 if i did some quality comparative analysis…=P this is a traditional banh mi shop. the bread is legit vietnamese style baguette. lighter and crispier than french style baguettes but chewy on the inside. best to eat it quickly once it’s cut b/c it will dry out. the lady said her husband studied bread-making in France? i’m not sure if i understood everything she was telling me but if that’s true i should def go back and try the pâté. their fillings are not gourmet but they are traditional fillings. we tried meatball(too salty) chicken(i’ve had better) bbq pork(unbalanced flavors, too sweet and salty) sardine(too stinky and dry) and tuna(my favorite) their was something unique and simple about the tuna with egg. the tuna is dry flaked and flavored with sweet soy or maggi? and black pepper. the yolk from the hard boiled eggs added a nice unctuous creamy texture that melds nicely with the dryness of the tuna. it was also garnished with cucumbers and some mayo. i personally would only get this one out of the ones i tried that day… the way the egg and cucumber flavors combined in the sandwich reminded me a lot of taiwanese style egg sandwiches… so it hit a homey note on my palate. as i indicated above, i am curious about their homemade pâté, but no one was in the mood for it that day. however disclaimer to traditional banh mi loyalists: i, unfortunately, am not loyal enough to traditional banh mi and am now growing an affinity for fancy pants overpriced banh mis… mostly because it’s really difficult for me to enjoy low grade meats now. It’d be interesting to see what experienced bahn mi aficionados think of these banh mis. the lady who made my sandwiches is REALLY nice. and if i got her origin story correct, it’s probably worth getting the pâté based sandwiches and fresh baguettes from this place.

Was in a banh mi mood for lunch and did the ol Unilocal search and came up with this place. What a disappointment… considering the number of other Viet/Cam shops in and around the neighborhood. I picked up the BBQ Pork banh mi and a ca phe su da. The coffee was decent, but the lack of size on the banh mi was deplorable as were the missing veggies. I give the baguette a «meh» rating and the pork was so so. Lucky for me I live near Little Saigon and Che Cali… unfortunately I’ll have to find a different place in LB for Banh Mi.

Baguette Paris is the quintessential location for delicious, freshly prepared Banh Mi sandwiches, at a more-than-reasonable price. The diligence and craftsmanship of the staff is noted in the consistency of their baguettes: flavorful crunchy exteriors, with a soft comforting interior. This pleasant contrast, coupled with their use of fresh ingredients, produces a Banh Mi to be reckoned with! All in all, amazing service– you can tell the staff works hard in creating such a welcoming ambiance. But above all, this little joint is family-operated! How cool is that?!

Bang Mi style yummy goodness all run and hosted by the sweetest little lady. I love this place! This is my local go-to for a quick pick me up at an awesome price. All hand made to order, the woman that runs this place has a heart of gold and a winning attitude. So, when you add love to a sandwich, you know you can’t go wrong. I honestly don’t know much about her, her story, how she opened this little place long ago, or anything else… All I know is she makes bomb ass sandwiches and if you are in the area you will want to make this one of your stops. Just remember she opens and closes early. If you can do that, you’ll be happy you made it to this location — never had a bad experience here. :)

Solid banh mi with excellent pâté. The bread is crunchy but not a deadly weapon, and the amount of peppers is just right so there’s a zing but not excruciating tongue pain. So now that I’ve established the sandwich won’t kill you, let’s talk about the pâté. I have no idea what goes into it(and probably should have asked, since the owner and I had a long conversation) but it tastes like it’s infused with anchovy paste. It plus the pickly vegetables plus the fresh meat makes for a great mouth-party. Could the sandwich use more meat? Yes, definitely. But the flavor of the pâté’s almost enough to fool you into thinking there IS more.

I don’t get to come this way very often, but when I do, I always stop by here for some yummy sandwiches. A co-worker introduced me, and I’m glad he did. It’s a mom and pop shop. The owners are very friendly. Fresh baguettes and delicious sandwiches :)

Pretty decent Banh Mi Joint. I was driving by and saw their sign so we decided to stop by for lunch on the way home from the Aquarium of the Pacific. The parking lot is a bit small so we had to park a few parking spaces away(I guess could use the exercise). The interior is and clean, and we were greeted with smiles right away. I ordered the Classic #1 which contains a combination of all the greatest components of a traditional Banh Mi. All the veggies and meats were fresh and they have all the same sauces/condiments as other banh mi places. Their homemade pâté is to die for, my girlfriend always likes to get her sandwich with extra pâté. Their bread is fresh and crispy. Not too rigid like lee’s to where it messes up your gums. Don’t forget to order an extra sandwich to eat to-go! My second sandwich never made it home. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. The owner is from France so I got to freshen up and learn a few words while placing my order. If your looking for an inexpensive great cozy hole in the wall bakery. This is the place for you! Overall, good food & great service! I’ll be back again! Au revoir!
