Pleasantly surprised! I wasn’t too excited when the group picked Yard House over PF Changs for a bite after shopping but I was impressed! Our waitress was awesome and the menu was huge! Large drink selection and food menu was almost too big :) The food selection covers many food genres. They had poke bowls and lamb burgers, street tacos and ahi salads. So no matter what you are in the mood for, they probably have something to satisfy it. I got the spicy tuna roll and we ordered the duck wings, crispy brussel sprouts and spinach cheese dip for the table. The crispy brussel sprouts are amazing! Duck wings are also delicious. I loved my spicy tuna roll. it’s not like traditional sushi rolls. It was more like a mount of yum. More of an island shape pile of avocado layered with tuna and edamame. We finished with the smore’s brownie(omg) *Needs more graham cracker but it was melty chocolate & marshmallow love.

Why is there not a yard house closer to where I live. My first time at this upscale sports bar was in Vegas and my family was hooked. Warning, not everything on the menu is delicious but you really can’t go wrong with a lot of things. Large beer selection. Especially local taps. My favorite, and I mean FAVORITE, thing here is the chicken chilli soup. I crave this literally. I also frequent the ahi tuna sandwich or the salmon. My dad loves the pepper jack burger although they changed the bun and it’s not as good. Last night I tried the pizza. Just smehh definitely not the best, but it was tasty. Expect a wait on a Friday Saturday night or opt to eat at the bar! Parking is difficult at this location, but what do you expect for park meadows mall. The yard house is always a versatile and reliable choice

Busy day after Christmas. Service was slow. Many tables seated after is served ten minutes or more before. Food arrived nearly cold. Steak much closer to medium well than the ordered medium rare. Server was adequate but not too concerned. Didn’t screw up the beer.

I am posting this poor review based mostly on my husbands experience rather than mine. For the first time in 35 years, we walked away without tipping. I have NEVER done that and frankly am a bit shocked that my husband did. Given our personalities — I would be voted the most likely to not tip. And this over a piece of bread. Yes — bread. Hubby was in the mood for a bowl of soup. But hubby can’t have his soup w/out bread. So he asked our server if he could get bread w/his soup and the server said of course! Well the bread never showed — 30 + minutes hubby tried to get some bread — asking our server 3 times and the person who delivered the food once. Nothing. Soup went cold and not only did we not get the bread — we didn’t even get an offer for something else or at least a warm bowl of soup. We had to ask for the soup to be removed from the bill. If bread was such a difficult request to fill — if our server had simply said… no, sorry we aren’t able to serve bread w/your soup… hubby would have ordered something different. Instead — the poor man looked like Oliver in the soup line asking for more…

Yummy! Wish I had more room to try more dishes. Everything I had was delicious. My brother and I sat at the bar. The bar tender was super attentive. Guy next to me ate five courses and every dish of his looked great too. With so many beers on tap, good luck picking which one you want. Ask for a sample if you aren’t sure. Get there during happy hour to try more for less. I drank the Breckenridge Avalanche Amber on tap, made right in Denver 5.4%. I also had the pot pie — OMG — huge. Bartender told me it was big, but he failed to say bigger than my head! Next time I am in Aurora area I will definitely go here to eat and drink again!

We’ve eaten at many Yard House locations and just tend to love them! Very few restaurants are so vegetarian-friendly, with an entire Gardein section on the regular menu in addition to the various other well marked vegetarian options throughout. We adore the Gardein buffalo wings and order them every time we are at a Yard House. We also tried the fried cheese curds(YUM!) and the mushroom lettuce cups. Seriously. So good! Lots of beer on tap, which is a big plus for a beer lover like me. Also, it’s a great place to watch a game. Can’t say enough nice things about this place.

So you know when you see the name of a place and you develop an idea in your head about what it will be like? I’m sure you’ve also heard the old saying about what happens when you assume. I’ve avoided this place for a while because I am not a beer drinker and most beer pub concepts have a huge selection of beers and a menu consisting of the tried and true(read: tired) favorites. *yawn* Sure, the Yard House has a long list of beers, ciders(for the love of peat, can you all add some Magners or Strongbow so we have an alternate to the syrupy«seasonal» flavors?), and cocktails… but they also have a rather intriguing menu that actually had me indecisive about what to order. Duck fat kettle chips? Pork poutine? Pastrami Benedict burger? Street tacos? Decent vegetarian options? SOMANYCHOICES. Some interesting combinations and flavors elevated the usual brewpub fair. Bravo. I would say I’d not be upset with a pared down menu — just how big is the kitchen to prep it all? Our server, Kristin(who’s the bomb diggety, btw) said it was a 90% scratch kitchen. Pretty awesome. Service was great, food was tasty — Kristen made the experience even better. She’s a treasure, Yard House, you want to keep that one happy. If you’re in the Park Meadows area, I’d say check this place out. It’s definitely toward the top of my list for options when head that way.

Gorgeous spot for Yard House! It’s attached to the mall and spacious inside! We placed an order over the phone to pick up and the girl said it would 10 minutes and it’s already 30 minutes! What kind of service is this?!? The food is not as GOOD as the location in Houston! Not sure if it’s because we took our food to go, but that shouldn’t make a huge difference. I always order my favorite entrée Skirt Steak Salad. I was extremely disappointed! My hard boiled egg in the salad was too hard. The dressing was mixed in with the gonz. Cheese. I would prefer if they packaged this up separately. The strips of bell peppers was clumped to the side… I give my salad a 4. My friend ordered the kids Mac and cheese and didn’t eat much of it at all. This was her first time trying Yard House and I’m sooo bummed she didn’t have a good experience with the food here. We will definitely have to try the one in Houston! I never have complained about the poor food there. However, she loved the edamame seasoned with garlic. for me it was heavily on the seasonings. Watch out for their edamame!!! My friend had bad gas from it. Lol!

For what it is(a big chain with a huge menu), they do a pretty great job. It isn’t perfect; they aren’t reinventing the wheel here, but the food is consistent, and the service is generally good. One thing I love about this place? The size and breadth of their kids’ menu. My kids aren’t super picky, but they get tired of the same«burger, chicken fingers, grilled cheese» options everywhere we go. They have thoughtfully imagined choices, and there is something to interest my kids even on their least-motivated days. Value: The meals I’ve had have always been delicious, though possibly a little overpriced. I’d rather pay $ 1 – 3 extra per person for a consistent product, though, so I’ll take it any day. Food Favorites: the four-cheese grilled cheese with tomato soup(ah-mazing!), the steak-and-blue-cheese salad, and the burgers. Yum. Service: while it isn’t my favorite part of the experience every single time, I have had decent service. I had one server who was excellent, and the rest were«just fine.» Never had any problems. Atmosphere: it’s big, and there’s a ton of beer on draft. They play classic rock. I wish they had a patio. Overall, B+.

Yard House is one of my favorite restaurants in Denver. They have a very relaxed environment with a touch of class and refinement. For some reason, it’s always dark in the restaurant. I guess it’s to create a more intimate environment between tables. I had the BBQ Chicken Salad, which is my favorite dish at Yard House. Typically the BBQ marinated chicken comes cold, so I ask for it to be warmed up. I think it tastes better with warm chicken. There’s so much different things in the salad like fried onions, avocado, corn, tomatoes and a few more things. The BBQ sauce that’s used is just the right amount of spicy. This has been one of my go-to dishes for years. I did notice that the salad was smaller this time around. I’d say about 50% smaller than normal. The salad used to be a big task that could fill up the biggest of guys, but this time it was just ok. Hopefully, this was just this one occasion. I’m going to be disappointed if I get the salad again and the size has been reduced.

Great tonight as always! Had a Miami Ice cocktail… smooth and refreshing! We had several appetizers which were very good however we tried a new one(for us), the California Roll. Hmmmm… I was not really a fan. I feel like it could have been quite good but the jalapeños threw me off a bit and i think the dish could have stayed more an asian or sushi theme and would have been great! One tidbit of info… please remind your servers to check on water. We did not have a refill, not once and couldn’t get anyone’s attention to ask for more. But overall a great evening with great friends and we will be back soon!

Came here a few weeks ago and the place was packed due to prom season. Our wait ended up being an hour or so, but it was not too bad. I was able to get some shopping done at the mall. Nonetheless, I enjoy coming to Yard House. Yard house is a nice place to causally hang out with a group of friends. They have a huge food selection and an even bigger drink menu. There is definitely a little something for everyone. I love ciders and compared to other breweries they have a nice selection. Food here is not phenomenal, but good enough to satisfy any empty stomach. Servers are also really friendly here and their happy hour specials are nice as well.

Easter Sunday, the place wasn’t packed which was great for us as we wanted something a bit more quiet. We were seated immediately and Jeremy our waiter was super nice. I wanted a simple lunch after spending time checking out the extensive menu I finally figured out I would just have a burger. I went with the simple BBQ Bacon Burger. It is Easter so I needed a little pork in my life. This was a darn good burger. The bacon was nice and thick and plentiful. It was cooked a perfect medium and was terrifically juicy. It was served with a pile of truffle fries for an additional charge of course. But is there really any other way to have fries if they are offered in this manner. It’s nice to know that they serve a lunch menu daily(even weekends) Unfortunately my lunch hour is too early to take advantage of most places except once a week. It doesn’t seem to be a place I would go out of my way to make sure I visit once a week but I will get back eventually. I’m not a beer drinker and this seems to be a great place for those who are.

I’m granting another star after dinner with a friend the other night. I had time to kill, so I bellied up to the bar. After dealing with rush hour traffic, I needed a shot of Patron. My kind bartender obliged, and she even chilled it for me. Perfection! I then had a grapefruit and tequila cocktail, well blended on ice. Okay, I had more than one! The service was fantastic! We decided to eat at the bar, as the restaurant was packed. The service again was fantastic. I had the wasabi-crusted salmon with mashed potatoes, and a ginger sauce. The dish had a great flavor profile. The salmon was a little overcooked, but not much, and the flavor was still great. I wished for more sauce, as it was delightful, but it left me wanting more. The salmon was topped with delicately thin fried sweet potatoes(I think), and it was not only beautiful, it was tasty. My friend had the jambalaya, which she enjoyed. I had a bite and found it quite delicious, great Cajun flavors represented. We shared the butterscotch pudding with salted caramel sauce — and it was delicious, as well. I love the juxtaposition of sweet with salty. The menu here is extensive, from salads and apps to burgers to classic favorites, pizzas, steaks, and seafood. I was favorably impressed upon my second visit here.

Usually, I abhor all chain restaurants(for obvious reasons), but I was taken to Yard House by my cousins, so I wanted to keep an open mind. Yes, you’re going to wait(sometimes an hour plus) if you come in for dinner on the weekend. That said, you can often find a seat in the bar to enjoy a half yard while you wait. After imbibing said half yard, our group got seated. Despite the large menu, the jambalaya looked intriguing. I asked the waitress about the level of spice and she said it was up there in terms of heat; I ordered it right away. When it arrived I was pleased to see a pair of jumbo(like U-12) prawns sitting on top of the noodles. I’ll give credit where credit is due, the waitress hit it right on head, it was spicy. Not overpowering heat, just a nice counterbalance to the dish. Minus the wait, which really isn’t their fault, Yard House was a very good dinner stop.
