Brian M. Carey, D.D.S.

Dr. Carey did such a great job. He is very nice and professional. I can also tell he really cares for his patients. I was a walk in for very severe tooth ache, fortunately he was able to see me that day and explained exactly what he was going to do in detail and so that I understood in layman’s terms exactly what had to be done and why. Unfortunately for me I needed a root canal as well as a filling so his office made my appointment for me. I was referred to another great doc. Dr. Wong. Overall i quotidian refer any one in the 805 to both these docs and look forward to follow-​up with Dr. Carey. Great office staff too!

I was new to town and looking for a new dentist. I have had really bad experiences at dentists before so finding a new one made me nervous. But I’m so happy that I went to Dr. Carey. I had a cleaning and filings — both with absolutely NO pain. I was so surprised! They didn’t use a scary syringe to numb my mouth, they used another device that I couldn’t feel at all. (Called the wand I think.)
Great staff, clean office, and they’re more than happy to explain procedures and costs to you — which was a relief.

So can I add how shocked we were when the Man decided to get a second opinion and they cancelled all yes all his future appointments! No they did not ask him if he wanted to cancel they just did it!
What person in any medical profession does that ??? A second or third is our right and privilege!
It’s also my right and privilege to tell what transpires.
We should never be shocked but we’re even more so after a visit to a new dentist revealed no dental work was needed after this dentist said there needed to be!
It makes me wonder if I had unnecessary work done!

I just had the longest, most detailed teeth cleaning in my entire life. Jan is great!!!

I miss Dr. Carey!!! Like previous reviews, I have since moved and have yet to find a dentist that was as great as he is! He always remembered me and he and his staff are so friendly. I just love the personal touch his office has. I went to him for check ups, cleanings, a few fillings and crowns during my time at Vandenberg and was always so pleased with his work. If you’re looking for a dentist in the area, definitely make an appointment with Dr. Brian Carey :)

I had a tooth emergency I was in so much pain and my normal dentist refused to see me because I had missed a appointment due to a family emergency well I was in a lot of pain and a friend had mentioned Dr. Carey well he was on his way out the door and stayed just to see me I showed up they took me in the back within minutes and had the problem tooth out so quickly with no pain what so ever and his staff is so amazing and caring I am such a baby when it comes to dentist and they calmed me and talked to me and I felt like I was talking to family and I had just met them bet experience ever he is now my familys dentist he is so amazing I cant express that enough thank you all so much for everything you were GREAT!!!

It has been a really long while since I went to a Dentist to get any work done so I decided to go here at Brian Carey Dental.
I have already gone a few times and always have a really good experience. I always pictured Dental offices to be really boring and scary but this dental office felt very homey.
The staff is welcoming and the interior is very nice! I felt like I was at home. They have comfortable seating and a TV to watch during dental work.
After getting my x-​rays Dr Carey told me that everything here is digital! So he showed me my teeth on the computer screen and explained what work needed to be done.
Dr Carey is a perfectionist and a professional at what he does! Highly recommended!!!
Overall, If you need a Dentist who’s easy going and loves what he does go here! Also don’t forget, they have awesome customer service and will have you leaving with a smile on your face!

Dr. Brian is great, he is very friendly and can answer any question you have. He is a very knowledgeable dentist and works great with kids. My niece, nephew and I needed to see a dentist during our travel and he was very accommodating. Dr. Brian made sure the kids were comfortable during their entire appointment.
Who wouldn’t love coming to a friendly dental office? His staff was very nice as well. I’ve always had a bad experience at dental offices but not here! When you walk in it doesn’t even smell like your usual dental office, which is a total plus! But too bad this office is about 4 hours from where I live.

Dr Brian is a great dentist. He remembers his patients and is very good at what he does. Plus, he is always willing to go beyond to help out. His staff is also supper friendly. They always remember me (even if I haven’t been in a while) and they also find ways to work with your schedule. The place is very kid friendly too! We have now moved and have to look for a new dentist… Hope we can find some one like Dr. Carey again.
