We stayed here end of June and we were unpleasantly surprised. It was under construction because it is transitioning to a La Quinta. That meant the gym was closed(but nowhere on here or on the site said anything about it being closed). The pooled closed early. The breakfast food was poorly maintained. Cold, rubbery eggs. Dry and stale bread. Warm milk. Absolutely disgusting. Then the hammering and drilling started as early as 630−7am. And to top this all off the staff was rude and unapologetic. And to make it worse the operating manager, Jeremy, gave me his word that he would call me to work some compensation out. A week later, no call. So I call in and get put on hold for over 15 minutes, then hung up on. Then I call back and the lady just said Jeremy is not available but he would call me. It has been over a month and NOTHING. I am sorry. I have worked in customer service and if that is how they treat customers than I am out. DONOTWASTEYOURTIMEWITHTHESEFOOLS!

My girlfriend and I had made a trip to Northern Utah to look at a puppy we were buying. We decided to spend the night and were pleasantly surprised by the price and quality of this hotel. It had been recently remodeled and the room was incredibly clean and really large! The staff was very polite and was very helpful in guiding us to some late night food and drink. If we happen to make another trip up north, we would definitely stay again.

The only negative thing was the indoor pool area was not air conditioned so it felt like a sauna. Other than that, exceptional room for the price and the breakfast the next morning was good too !

Great place to stay for a competitive price. I stayed here for 2 weeks during a business trip and would absolutely stay here again. My room had a comfortable King size bed(comfortable for hotel beds) and a small couch and chair with a small coffee table for relaxing. Also had a desk and chair for a workspace. Flat screen TV with a DVD player, basic bathroom and closet and dresser. Room was clean. Nice touch was that every lamp had a integrated electrical plug so you can charge your phone and other electronic gadgets. The free breakfast was good and they also serve a lite dinner for free. The dinner tasted fine and is just what it states LITE. So if your really hungry your better off going out to eat. But if you just want a small dinner the free one they offer hits the spot. Never heard of a hotel offering a free dinner. Very convenient. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. For example the breakfast opens at 6:30 but I have to leave for work by that time so when the lady who runs the kitchen found that out she opened at 6:00 for me and some other construction workers also staying at the hotel. SUPER! The hotel is located at the south end of town close to local restaurants and is across the street from a Super Wal Mart. I would absolutely stay here again.

Staying at this hotel reminded me of one of the worst nights of my life, during the cold eastern european winter at the peak of World War 2. We were driving in a jeep on mine infested roads in the heart of the bavarian forest, in the middle of the night, lost. We driving deeper and deeper into the forest and the road was getting progressively more and more narrow and muddy. Landmines were literally going off in our rearview mirror. We were all young, in your late teens or early 20’s, except our grisled, battle hardened commander. We kept begging to turn around but he kept saying, NO! Onward into battle! That night we were captured by the Germans and kept in a brutal POW camp until we were liberated 3 and a half years later, several of us dead from torture and starvation. I remember writing to my sweetheart back home that night how I wished we could just do a U-turn and head back to camp. That letter was never sent. When arriviing at the hotel from the south, you will have to make a U-turn in order to access it. Before you complain about having to do this, please read the story above and remember those that have died for your freedom to make that U-turn. Say a little prayer that you live in the greatest nation on earth and make that U-turn proudly, saying a little prayer for Uncle Sam as you pull into the parking lot. Oh and the dinner was fabulous.

Large, very clean, spacious room. Quiet hotel, didn’t reek of cigarette smoke, as did the other non smoking hotels we’ve stay in. Fast WiFi, guest laundry and other amenities we didn’t take advantage of. The breakfast was good, lots of selection. Friendly, helpful staff. We are recommending this to all our friends to stay here. Way to go, Crystal Inn!

Wow, huge clean, comfortable room the size of a mini suite, with free in room WiFi, swimming pool and a guest laundry all for under $ 69! We were so impressed that we extended our stay in Logan for another night and took the extra day to hike the Logan Canyon. The Inn has a complementary breakfast(great) AND a complementary dinner. Who else does this? In my time traveling through and exploring Utah I have only found one other property that I gave a five star rating to: the Metropolitan in SLC. Note: the Crystal Inn chain is family run with six other properties in Utah.
