I come here pretty often, and usually get the blonde roast so service is always quick. The one thing that is a tip maker for me is a cashier that is cheerful and has manners. Today I was helped by Destiny who usually is taking the orders for the cashier and makes pastries when I come in, and she immediately remembered that I get blonde roast and was super polite making sure to even say«have a great day» as I left. Now that is how a coffee pick-me-up is supposed to go! Destiny should be promoted to a management position, because I have been to all the Starbucks in Livermore and haven’t gotten service like that. Other baristas take note!

I’ve been to this Starbucks countless times over the last 6 years & every time I have a bad experience! They are incredibly slow & almost always get something wrong. I usually go to the one on Portola, which is awesome, but if I’m right here, I’ll try & give this one another shot. Most of the time I will pass this Starbucks & go to the other… now I’ll be doing that EVERY time. Mobile order just took 24 min(said 3 – 8)

Doesn’t make the drinks right compared to other Starbucks. They are wayyyy to strong/sweet… staff is slow and not very friendly. I’d rather drive the extra distance to a different better starbucks.

Michelle and Cody are two baristas here at this Starbucks… They are also two very nice people who seem to know all of their regulars and give me the impression that they truly care about how these people are doing when asking, «How are you today,(name)?» These two saved the power cord to my laptop(very expensive) and my ugly seat cushion(ugly but useful) for an entire week, and remembered me(Cody asked if I had been missing«something.» Just my memory, Cody!) — even though I had been there just ONCE before in my life, exactly one week ago. I had been looking everywhere for the power cord, and I figured the cord and the seat cushion were gone for good. Thank you two so much for taking care and notice of people and their belongings! These caring actions make the world seem so much nicer, and they do mean something to all of the people who you remember and care about. Thank you so very much. Review of store: Cute, small Starbucks with huge windows and a very nice, large patio.(They are also open until 10pm, I believe.) the décor is a bit unique, for a Starbucks — which I like! The pour over dark roast was just what I needed, and it is definitely worth the 5 min wait to have it made. I am not sure how they have only 3 stars at the time of this writing. They do a great job, and I can be quite picky about my cafes! Perhaps the bad reviews are outdated? Anyway, this is a great Starbucks. There is one in the Safeway in the same lot. Maybe that was the confusion. Excellent work, guys! Keep it up!

Love this particular Starbucks. They have yet to screw up a drink for me. Matter of fact they have actually fixed another Starbucks screw up. I brought in my crappy drink from Airway drive thru and they made me a brand new drink! They are very accommodating. Very quick and very friendly!

If I could give zero star, I would! Came in on a Tuesday afternoon to try the Smore frap. Ordered and was asked if I wanted graham cracker crumbs on top. I said yes of course, what’s a Smore without graham cracker after all. Picked up my drink and didn’t notice any crumbs so I asked the barista«Melissa». She rudely(no smile) said«we’re out»! She could’ve nicely apologized and maybe even asked if I would want something different? Since a Smore does consist of graham cracker. Then the manager«Misti» said they’ve been out for 2 weeks. Then maybe Starbucks should temporarily take this drink off of the menu.

Noooo! This Starbucks totally botched my morning. First off, I walk in and realize the back half of the store is full of people, but there is no line at the register. It’s Friday morning and I haven’t had time to treat myself to a latte in a few weeks. But today, I have a gift card and an extra 10 minutes to grab a breakfast latte! I walk right up to the register and order my Tall Double Latte and grab a bag of almonds. I proudly present my gift card which covers the entire order with the exception of 15 cents. I can handle that! Then I realize the HUGE mistake I had made. The kind man behind the counter put my cup behind a line of cups so long, they would have touched the ceiling if you had stacked them on eachother. I looked towards the back of the store, and realized the hoard of people congregating there had no coffees. Not a single cup in any of their hands. Their faces twisted into dissatisfied knots of dwindling patience. A man walked past me with a young boy and asked the child, «Would you like to wait outside? It’s going to be a while.» The time on my watch read 9:08 am. Getting to work at 9:30 was unacceptable. I needed to leave ASAP. «CHAIMOCHAFRAPFORBARBARA… BARBARA,» the barista yelled. A slender, middle-aged woman who I had been hidden by other patrons standing infront of her slowly worked her way out of an arm chair. The movement of her limbs after being stationary for so long made her joints look as though they were crumbling. The back of her shirt had pressed creases and folds from where it had been resting against the back of the armchair as she waited for what had almost been an eternity. She reached a shaky hand out toward the drink and grabbed the top of it with her fingers. A barista suddenly plopped a paper wrapped straw atop the woman’s hand and the drink and proclaimed, «Thanks for waiting!» The woman looked at the drink as if she had forgotten all about it. As if she had lost all understanding of why she had come here at all. She took her straw and frap and made her way slowly for the door. Desperate and confused. The other bystanders hardly noticed her in their fog of exhaustion and increasing anxiety– they still remembered why they were there. I could see my fate so clearly now. I looked back at the counter where I had placed my order, and there it was. My cup, still sitting there behind a never ending line of other cups. Short cups, tall cups, clear cups– all of which had unique black scribbles on them. But my cup was not the special snowflake I had imagined it was. None of these cups were. And all of these innocent people had placed their orders blissfully, not knowing the agony that wait for them at the other end of the store. I knew I couldn’t let myself fall deeper into this trap. I looked at my watch again, 9:16. My cup hadn’t moved and it would take at least 10 minutes for me to reach the office. I needed to leave now. I approached the kind gentleman at the register again. Our first encounter had been under far better circumstances. «Excuse me. I’m sorry,» I said, «That cup there, for Amanda, please disregard it, I need to go. I need to go now.» I began to walk out and as I approached the door the short female barista who must have been back there trying to fashion some sort of choreographed cup dance to Anna Kendricks song«cups» yelled to me. «Come back later and we’ll get you your drink!» I just looked at her. I gave one last glance to the disheveled souls at the end of the store and left.

Really makes me sad to write this cause the other people who work at this location deliver great drinks and have a pleasant personality so i thought maybe i caught a certain employee on a bad day but after 3 uncomfortable experiences and coworker with a similar story i have to complain. To the barista with colored RED hair and thick black rimmed glasses: you need to find a new place to collect a paycheck. There is no excuse for your rude disposition. You work in the service industry, we dont pay you to give us [the customer] your unsolicited opinion on my drink order. Only at your location do i have to ask the baristas to fill the cup all the way up. It’s embarrassing enough to have to remind you to do your job but to have you twice blurt out to your coworkers to «FILLTHECUP» on my order with such disdain. Then to go on and ask my coworker«what’s the point of that» when she asks to have her drink blended. Your sad existence needs a reality check or some Xanax.

Drinks are fine, people are friendly but standing here right now at 12:34 on 3÷2÷15 and this place is filthy. The napkin/creamer counter is dirty and the floor is the worst. Gross. Windows are dirty too.

This Starbucks is a bit small which is why I give 3 stars and Starbucks stop selling CALMTEA but back to this Starbucks in the morning it gets a bit tight to get in. But I do like how great the staff are and the regular patrons who come in are very entertaining.

This is probably one of the tiniest Starbuckses I’ve ever seen, save for one in San Francisco that was about the size of a racehorse’s stall. It’s really cramped and even during low hours it can be difficult to get seating. Because of its proximity to the two high schools, the tables can get pretty disgusting if groups of teens have been sitting there and the employees haven’t gotten around to cleaning it up – although from what I have seen they try to run a tight ship. Bathroom is just right there, near the tables. No discreet little corridor. They tend to have the AC cranked up full blast. I came here when it was like 70 degrees out and it was freezing inside. It would have been better to open a door or something. One thing that stands out about this Starbucks is that they have lovely outdoor seating under a covered patio.

Possibly the slowest service for any Starbucks I’ve been in. Heck they don’t even have a drive thru to contend with and it still takes 10 – 15 minutes to get a coffee! I’ve been here multiple times and it’s always the same. What I don’t understand is why 2 people run the registers but only 1 person making drinks. I’m no scientician but maybe they should put 2 people making drinks and 1 person taking the $$. Maybe they just need more help. Upside is the drinks always taste good and the staff is friendly.

I agree with the overall rating here: 3 stars is about right IMO. I’ve visited here multiple times now that I’m a permanent Livermore resident, so I’d say my opinion is just and fair. This has got to be one of the smallest Starbucks around I think. There’s barely any indoor seating and the merch wall is fairly small in comparison to others. I’ve only come during the mid morning usually on weekends and the line is usually fairly substantial. Today however it was one of the shortest I’ve experienced and yet, it took just as long as a longer line. They were definitely in no hurry to get through the short line that’s for sure. Anyway, I will give them kudos on consistency of drink. Both my husband and I have yet to experience anything but a quality beverage, woo whoo! Sometimes the parking lot sucks but usually it’s easy to find parking. The one thing I wish would change is the availability of indoor seating… and maybe speed of service? Either way, I’m still a content customer and will continue giving them my business :)

Just a hunch but I’ll bet Starbuck’s wishes they had a bigger location here. Friendly staff and one million customers jammed in like sardines just about any time of the day or night.

This Starbucks almost always has a line whenever I’m here. I agree with what a couple of the other Unilocalers have said. The guys that work there are really nice. The girls can be a hit or miss. A couple of them are really pleasant and nice. Then there’s a couple that act like they hate their job. Fortunately, it’s been awhile since I’ve seen the«I hate my job» girls… or have encountered them. I kept running into the same problem with my mocha frappuchinos… they weren’t tasting very good. More icey than coffee-ish. UNTIL I came to this Starbucks. I’m not sure what it is, but whatever they put more of in(chocolate syrup, coffee pumps, whatever). The first sip I took was AMAZING! So now on my day off, when I’m looking for a Starbucks, I’ll be sure to stop at this one. Plus, you can’t ever go wrong with free wi-fi.

Customer service is EXCELLENT at this location. While it’s not the largest location(though newly remodeled), it’s definitely got one of the best vibes of any Starbucks and I’ve been to a LOT of Starbucks around the nation. The service is always friendly, personal and the staff really has fun together. As a regular at this location some baristas leave special notes on my cup which brighten up my day. You can’t beat that. Hopefully they can expand the inside of the store someday soon, but until then still my favorite location. :)
