Little off the beaten path, but definitely worth checking out. Steamed shrimp and blackened scallops were excellent.

I guess it’s good for the tourist but over priced nothing special except the view.

Fish tacos were decent but fried. Kind of a dive bar atmosphere. It is what it is, just go in expecting average. Bartender was really friendly and attentive.

Fresh seafood all the way around. Waitress was great. Had to top it off with the fried corn. Main courses were shrimp and snapper. Chase it down with chocolate cream pie.

Really fresh, mighty tasty seafood in a casual, crab shack type of atmosphere. The Blue Crab Bites were so good! The light breading actually lets the taste of the chunks of crab shine through. You have to try the Deep Fried Corn on the Cob; Buttery goodness! Blue Crab Dip had me wanting to lick the little plastic container. Everything our party of 4 had was outstandingly fresh-tasting: oysters on the half shell, fish tacos, soft shell crabs, shrimp cocktail, fried shrimp– all perfectly done. Very reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Waterfront w/deck seating. Perfect end to a laid back vacation!

Went on a dolphin cruise nearby and someone recommended Crab Catchers to eat lunch. Got the shrimp and grouper fish tacos and their famous corn. Tacos were amazing and the corn was SOGOOD! Would definitely recommend this place! Staff was also very friendly and our server was great!

Some locals had recommended this restaurant while my family was on vacation in North Myrtle Beach. There was a ton of great outdoor seating, and it’s right on the water. Waiters were very friendly, and could navigate the crowded outdoor area easily. The restaurant is very casual, but the food is pretty good. I had the fried shrimp, which were only lightly breaded which was great. My mother had the ahi tuna, which she found pretty bad and couldn’t even finish. Not as great as we had hoped, but a decent experience overall.

Delicious! We ordered hush puppies with the cinnamon butter and they were awesome! We ended up ordering 3 baskets, a total of 24 hush puppies :^) My cousin got Gator bits and I was nervous to eat them(it’s real alligator) but I can’t believe how much I liked it! Everybody did, it was lightly fried with horse radish dipping sauce! Got 2 pounds of crab meat and you get the third pound free!!! It was a little pricey but hey it’s vacation and the service was on point also it’s in a nice location right on the water. Would definitely recommend… Great job guys!

This was a great local seafood place! Love the Cecile and love the patio! Food was mediocre, although everything else seem to make it worthwhile! Cute logo on shirt and merchandise! I would recommend it.

Breezy deck right on the river. I had the sea bass dinner, fesh hushpuppies, cole slaw(had pickles in it — so good). The deep fried corn had my husband quiet for awhile while he ate it. He wouldn’t share — yes that good. Try the Little River Blueberry Wine(blueberry sangeria). Great place glad we stopped! Peel and eat shrimp are the best.

Great food. Had a dozen raw oysters on the half shell, blue crab bites with a wonderful dip. Also their hush puppies with the cinnamon butter are great. Had the flounder sandwich and crab cake sandwich. They were both awesome!

The place is good– we’ve been there before. We got mussels as an app, wife got scallops and I got soft shells. The only complaint that I have is the hush puppies were clearly nuked before serviing. makes me think the mussels were too(??) — they were ok, a bit odd texture. I really care very little about hush puppies but for the price its not a lot of food… so i’d rather it all taste good. still — not a bad place to go to have a beer on the deck

I love the old waterfront in Little River. There are four waterfront restaurants there, Crab Catchers being one of them. There’s nothing fancy about this place, it’s all about the food and the view. Crab Catchers has a nice offering of appetizers, soups, sandwiches, steamed shrimp, and seafood dinners. Everything is fresh and local. Check out the catch of the day — cause it literally is. Today I had the shrimp sandwich with fries and slaw. The sandwich was terrific with a generous amount of lightly fried shrimp with lettuce and tomato. My wife’s flounder sandwich had a nice piece of fresh flounder. She said it was one of the best flounders she’s ever had. They also have a good selection of beers including a few local craft beers. Besides the fresh seafood, the setting is a reason to come here. The deck on the Little River gives you a front row seat to watch fishing boats, sailboats, and cruising boats going down the Inter Coastal Waterway. If you’re lucky, you’ll see the Bald Eagle that lives in a tree across the ICW. Go on a nice day and sit outside. Plan on lingering, this is a great place to relax for an hour or two.

Imagine getting Captain D’s takeout and bringing it to a dive bar and eating it there. Oh, and you pay $ 90 for four meals. There you have it.
