Howard Johnson Inn

The good: Relatively inexpensive. Close to the airport if that’s a priority. Relatively clean (although there were hairs on the bathroom wall and in one of the towels in my room).
The bad: WiFi goes up and down every few minutes, and is slow to very slow when it’s up. Hotel is right next to a busy road with loud trucks driving by all day and night. My room was a little run down, with tears in the wallpaper, a crack in the ceiling, and a bit of mildew in the shower. No fridges in the rooms. Super-​bright fluorescent light right above your head when you’re lying in bed. Someone tried to let themselves into my room one morning, and actually got the door open — thankfully the safety latch stopped it from opening fully, at which point they just disappeared without a word. (?!?)
The summary: Good enough if you can get in for cheap.

Hotel Staff were nice and welcoming. Room was alright, remote to the TV didnt work and the WIFI was very sporadic, otherwise room was clean, bed was comfortable, and location was good to get to food, the airport, and about 10 minute from downtown Lincoln and the University. Might look for another hotel next time because of the WIFI issues but for the price would probably repeat.

Clean, reasonable rates, comfortable, good walk-​in shower, quiet, close to airport, friendly and helpful staff, whole building is non smoking, good breakfast.
There was a lot of hair in the shower but it was probably not a regular thing.
