Guesthouse Inn

Worst hotel ever. AC didn’t work, bed was awful, the place was very seedy. Do not pay more than $ 30 to stay here. Nevermind, do not stay here.

Stopped here during my cross country soujourn… nearby to Route 80. Quite a few questionable looking characters around outside. This used to be a Howard Johnson’s Motor Lodge and apparently all they did was put a new sign up. Stains on the carpets in the common areas welcomed me as I walked in… place does have a large indoor pool yet if you reside in any of the rooms that face inside you deal with children screeching like wounded banshees echoing around. I was on the outside, thankfully so it was quiet. Two different electricity sockets did not work in my room… so no way to use my computer and recharge the mp3 player at the same time. Alas, if I can’t do that I’ll head to the bar… and what a bar! 3.25 Fat Tire Ale, 2.50 shots… it was drink deal heaven! I had a great bartender, Steve, that made the night. haven’t had an eruite bartender like him in many years. I would have given 1 star… but Steve earned it a second.
