This place has the best chicken patties and desserts. The red velvet is worth the trip alone. I was not a fan of the brown stew chicken and rice. The rice was a little dry but it could have just been a bad day for it.

Anytime I visit a Jamaican restaurant for the first time I always order their jerk chicken… followed by the question: Is the chicken baked or grilled? Authentic jerk chicken is grilled & this place did it right! It had a nice flavor but wasn’t too spicy. I enjoyed it with their rice & peas, cabbage and plantain. I’m looking forward to trying their other dishes in the future. They serve beer & wine and have an event space within the restaurant. The service was good & it was great chatting with the Manager. Good times :)

Each time I go, I’m surprised this place isn’t packed. The service is hospitable, the food is delicious and the prices are great! So far, I’ve tried the oxtails, jerk chicken, and brown stew chicken and they’ve all been prepared just right. I also love their plaintains… they’re perfect each time. The only thing I haven’t enjoyed is the veggie patty… hated it. The lunch specials are ideal…$ 4.99 for brown stew chicken, rice and peas and cabbage with a plaintain!

Don’t judge a book by its cover! This restaurant is in an almost empty strip mall, but it is indeed a hidden gem. My husband and I happened upon this restaurant a few months ago. Now every time we’re in the area, their jerk chicken meal is a must. It is moist and flavorful with just the right touch of spice. We get extra jerk sauce to go over our rice and peas. Scrumptious! Do yourself a favor and pay this restaurant a visit. Your tummy and your tastebuds will be so happy you did.

I ordered the jerk chicken special that came with beans and rice and their veggies. The chicken was perfectly spicy and very flavorful I like how much sauce they put on the chicken because it went well with the rice and beans. Their veggies are actually just steamed cabbage with a little bit of carrots and onions I think. I would suggest getting a sweet drink to set apart from the spicy chicken. For less than $ 8 it was a ton of food well made so I will probably be back again.

So clean and smells really nice. Simple but nice décor. I am definitely keeping it on my radar for any events that I might have. I am feeling sick so I got a veggie patty and a chicken soup. Definitely revived me. I am not feeling like death anymore. So I ordered another for school tomorrow to put in my Calypso bottle. Yay to great healthy Jamaican soup!

This place is awesome! Don’t judge a book by its cover. My brother took me here and I had oxtail, jerk chicken and goat, all three were amazing! Definitely a must-go!

Hands down my favorite Jamaican restaraunt. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. The staff is always friendly as well. I’ve also rented out their event space and they were very flexible and easy to work with and the space was simply wonderful.

I have been on the search for a good Jamaican spot in Atlanta moving from New York and being Jamaican. The customer service was excellent and I was served with care. I had the curry chicken roti and it hit the spot! Absolutely amazing and full of flavor. I loved that it tasted like Home :). I will be back

The food here is so good. I can see why it has great reviews. Excellent customer service, fresh and hot food. The flavoring on everything was amazing and we got several items… Not one disappointed! We had the Oxtails, cabbage, peas and rice, jerk chicken, Mac and cheese and beef patty all to-go. Would definitely go again and recommend!!! Not to mention they had a great food score!!!

Been here twice now, tried the brown stew chicken and the jerk. The platters are decently priced and care is taken with the food preparation. The Jerk was a bit better than the Brown stew, although it is not spicy at all. Rice and peas were really nice and coconutty first visit, a bit over/undercooked and dry the second. Also with both dishes I felt like I got more bones than meat, their chicken butchering skill could stand to be improved. Chicken flavor is on point though. Pre-packaged frozen patties with tasteless, gummy dough. Avoid those. Service is good and the people who work there are kind.

A little gem found on a quiet shopping centre. The place looks clean, very friendly customer service, food is delicious, what else do you want? Bathroom is clean as well. I ordered curry chicken, jerk chicken, beef patty and plantains, they all taste great. This customer will come back for sure. I loke how the restaurant has huge window so we can see beautiful sunny day or rainy day outside. Will let my friends knows this awesome restaurant

WILDLY good food and Amazing service!!! Got the jerk chicken with extra plantain. Came with steamed cabbage and rice & beans. Every single bite was pure deliciousness. Why o why do I need to come out to the burbs to get good Jamaican food??? In any case, it’s worth the trip. Treat yourself!

Just discovered this little spot right next to harbor freight thanks to Unilocal… I’ve been looking for a good spot to get some oxtail and jerk chicken. .The food is excellent, prices reasonable and a very friendly staff. Try the patties, they are slammin!

This place has a very clean, fresh feel and the staff are very pleasant. My wife had the jerk chicken with cabbage, rice and beans as a lunch special. It would be hard to beat this for $ 4.99, their lunch special price. The beef patty(spiced ground beef inside a pastry shell, quite similar to an empanada) was very tasty and filling. Offered at $ 1.99, it too, represented good value. The oxtail stew I had was equally tasty and I would definitely order it again. As it is such a clean and cheerful place, reasonably priced and comfortable, and the food is very good(if not memorably so) I’m sure we would be frequent visitors if we lived a little closer. Unfortunately we live a little too far away for frequent visits. Highly recommended.
