What a great concept! We checked in on Friday afternoon, the front desk was friendly and glad to help. The room was clean, and neat. The kids had a blast at the pool, it was just right for our girls ages 8&5. The main pool is shallow enough that there is nowhere that they can go that I’m worried about them getting too deep(Deepest it gets is about 3 ½ feet). Now I have to say that Saturday in the afternoon we went back to the pool and there were easily 40 – 50 children in the pool area and it was a bit more hectic that I felt comfortable with. Breakfast was fast and easy, the food is your typical continental breakfast, nothing to brag about, but everything was clean and eatable. All in all I liked the hotel. It’s not a fancy one by any means, but I’d go back down there again in the future.

I am appalled at the lack of respect and emergency training the staff at this hotel has. My LO’s hand got sucked into an elevator, which was a freak accident so was really no ones fault. When the door opened and I saw that a hotel staff member was on the other side I felt relived to have help already standing by, or at least I thought. Her first words to me were«I’m just a manager I don’t know how to help you.» As she stood there with a phone in her hand. I yelled at her to call 911 or someone on duty who knew how to help me. Lucky for me there was a guest nearby who grabbed her husband and managed to get him unstuck. The manager then said«I’m so sorry I’ll bring up an incident report.» With this being a family establishment I hope that the next child injured is better managed so the family has the peace of mind we didn’t have Also while we were packing up to leave we found an army of ants under our mattress, and were given room too small for a family a five. I will give them the one star for reacting quickly and realizing their mistake and giving us the room we paid for, so for that we give them one star

A great night on a road trip. The front desk was very helpful and attentive, the water park is clean and was fully functional, and the rooms were nice and clean. We would definitely stop again if in the area. Tips: you may want to take your own towel down to the pool area as the guy running the slide is also in charge of the towels. Thus, if the slide is busy the towels may«run dry.» The«water park» consists of a fun 2.5 story slide, a 3′ pool, and a toddler pool with fun splash implements. It also has plenty of seating area for hanging out. The rooms were nice and ours had a larger than normal bathroom for a hotel room.

Best kept secret for traveling families right in Liberty, MO. Very clean, modern rooms and interior areas. Staff was nice and accommodating. The watermark is a mini Coco Key and excellent!!! family friendly. We visited on Memorial Day weekend when our plans to travel elsewhere in the region were washed away with flash flood warnings and downpours. Best value for the money and inexpensive. What a surprise for a staycation!

Stayed here last weekend. Don’t waste your money. Water slide was only open 30 minutes out of the 3 hours we were in the pool area. No clean towels in the pool area. Unattended older kids made the hot tub miserable and the pool area dangerous for small kids. We were supposed to get a extra bed but when we got there they were sold out. Used shampoo and soap instead of complimentary items.

We will stay here every time we pass through the state! Great pool and bar area, can’t beat this place for the kid friendliness! Rooms could be cleaner, we moved a couch and got some surprises:) overall great for the money!

Hotel is nice. Staff not so much. They were rude to our 22 yr old and 13 yr old and my husband as well. The kids had to have a stamp to get into the pool. Kelsey at the desk gave it to them, but then didn’t tell them they had to wait 5 minutes to get into the pool. We had been told when we checked in the night prior to call the morning staff to ask for a late check out. Kelsey told us that wouldn’t happen: not their policy. My husband went to get a courtesy toothbrush since he left his at home. Kelsey said it wasn’t her problem. Then went back and another staff handed him 2. When we left I stopped by to get names and numbers for contacting choice hotels to rate our stay, she«assumed» which room we had been staying in. Guess what happens when you assume something Kelsey?

Nice waterpark hotel for families. The water slide is pretty decent and the kiddie play area is nice for younger children. The a.m. breakfast was good with hot options like waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits, etc. definitely would stay again when in the Kansas City area.

This place was great. The room was really clean, the breakfast was good, and the kids had a lot of fun in the waterpark. It was also really quiet, we were on the highway side and the hotel seemed to be PACKED with kids, but we didn’t hear anything all night .It was very restful. We liked it, if we end up Liberty again we will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Ignore the Slide, just enjoy the Hotel! After reading internet reviews, we booked our last night in Liberty at the Sleep Inn, a brand-new chain hotel located at the junction of I-35 and 291. The lady and I give it two thumbs up. Our room had the standard features of the King Double, was very clean, and(We were on the side opposite the freeway) exceptionally quiet, given the location. We also appreciated the proximity to the laundry room after some adventures in the Missouri wilderness. A wash was only a dollar, and the machines were new and efficient. The room initially offered an arctic experience; the air conditioner’s digital thermostat let us quickly correct the problem. Two signs of early wear: someone had tracked tar or grease in from the back entrance, which was unsightly, and there were a few black marks on the walls inside our door. Apparently someone had leaned some equipment or something there. From the number of rug rats and pizza reptiles populating the place, the swimming pool and giant slide are quite a draw for the kiddies. The pool itself is four times the size you find in the typical freeway hotel, with lots of room indoors for lounging. The slide itself was maybe 25 ft. high, definitely not of the quality of Oceans of Fun, only a few miles away, but diverting for the junior-high to early high school set. The free breakfast buffet still needs a bit of tweaking. The scrambled eggs were hot and tasty, but the sausage was barely warm, and the biscuits had grown cold in the AC. The biggest problem was the modest size of the room. We were there on a Wednesday morning, and every table was taken. Several guests had to take their food back to their rooms. I can’t image what it is like on a weekend. The breakfast overseer did a nice job of keeping the stations supplied, and the Belgian waffle maker was the most popular option.

Good clean hotel. Room was nice. The waterpark was a plus to help the child to blow off steam after a day of traveling.

There isn’t just one, but TWO places to buy ammo at within a block of this hotel… which can be useful once you decide you’d rather stick a gun in your mouth than spend another night in Missouri. Indoor watersides would be cool if I was here with my family on vacation, but then again if I ever take my family to Liberty, Mo for vacation I’ll regress back to that whole sticking a gun in my mouth thing. It is cool though that if you look out one window of your hotel you see a gun store but look just 90 degrees east there is a school. In all seriousness, it’s an ok enough place if you aren’t smart enough to just go stay in Kansas City. If I come back this region I won’t stay here but I’ve been in much worse hotels.
