Ruby Tuesday

Again while another chain restaurant I do not typically review. I have to say that this one was far above the rest. The staff, the food, the service and the drinks were all top notch. They actually brought back on of my favorite meals — Chicken Sonora Pasta — Highly Recommended!

Wow! Salty food!
Wife and I ordered the turkey burger and chicken breastfeeding sandwiches respectively. It’s been two hours and I’m on my third bottle of water… my lips are still shriveling. Ruby Tuesdays and other similar chain resaurants had been Über salting their food like this about 10 years ago. I really hope this isn’t a return to that trend.
Otherwise though, food was pretty good and the service was right on too. They apologized for the salt but didn’t offer anything in compensation but that didn’t really bother us. Hope we’ll be able to flush the salt out of our systems. .ugh!

Unacceptable! Wife ordered ribs, I ordered iced tea since I ate just before I picked her up at the airport & she arrived «starved.» She got 2 sides, onion rings & salad bar. $ 30 for dinner for one (plus my tea)? Too darned much money. The seasoning «rub» was way TOO SALTY! «Terrible,» she said, although admittedly they were very tender & very meaty. We will NOT be back, EVER.

Came after 4pm on a Saturday. Not crowded. Very helpful Latina bar tender. Had the shrimp appetizers and loved them. Price was reduced. All together good experience but only three star because it is not a full service bar. I would go for the shrimp again. It started to rain and lost the tv. Still using satellite television.

We were out shopping at Leesburg Outlets and decided to stop and get a drink. So we stopped at Ruby Tuesday the restaurant appeared to be clean as well as the bar. The bartenders name was James he was attentive, personable and made us great drinks. They closed at 10pm but people were still eating and none of the staff were rushing people. Which made me happy I hate to be rushed but I acknowledge people need to get home and have a life outside of work. So I try to be respectful of that. Anyways this was a great experience I will visit this Ruby Tuesday again and try the food.

Bartender was super nice. The place was nice and clean! The drinks were amazing and he took care of us fast !!! Very satisfied and would go here again !!!

I don’t understand all the negative reviews of this Ruby Tuesday. I often eat at RT in Leesburg, and always have consistently good meals with friendly, efficient service. I’ve never been disappointed! A small group of friends had dinner together there yesterday and once again it was a great dining experience for all.

They seated us in a booth in the bar area which made the bartender our waiter. He initially came right over to take our drink order, two iced teas, then disappeared for over 15 minutes doing tasks behind the bar. He finally showed up and took our order, 2 salad bar combos one with a cheeseburger, the with a crab cake. At the salad bar, most of the lettuce was gone, what was left was brown and wilted. They refilled it after we got our salads. Our food finally arrived 20 minutes after we ordered. My crab cake was squished flat on the plate, covered in large leaves of parsley, with a remoulade sauce underneath the crab cake. I’ve never seen that before. Both meals tasted OK, but again the service was lacking.

I came here for the croutons at the salad bar mainly and was not expecting much else. Overall though the place is what you would think it is. Another chain restaurant that is only half full on a Friday night.
The service was decent enough, most of the staff seemed kind of bored because it was slow though. I had a hickory chicken breast for dinner, which, was good and healthy, it came with a side and the salad bar for like $ 13.
The food was actually better than I thought it would be, but the place still felt a little like they had given up. If they made the food look a little nicer on the plate when they brought it out or used silverware that was worn out I would have rated the place a little higher.

Don’t waste your time or money. We have lived in the Leesburg area for almost 20 years. We have never had a good experience here. We have given them plenty of chances of the years in hopes that they would get their act together. The service here is the worst. During our last and final try, we actually had a server argue in front of us with the hostess saying, «I can not take another table». We waited about 15 minutes for anyone to approach us. We just walked out. Food is mediocre at best. Go to TGIFridays around the corner.

If I could… I would give it ZERO stars! This place is awful… food mediocre. Staff is not very friendly… manager didn’t even care to stop by and see How We were doing when he was doing his rounds, since others were having awful service too. We had to literally flag down and grab our waiter in order to get refills, since he didn’t bother to give us the time of day. Apparently No one here cares about the customer.

We had not been to a Ruby Tuesday in years and we were reminded why this time.
The food, when it finally came, was just OK. I just had the salad bar and there really isn’t much on the salad bar to choose from, so you’re pretty limited. They didn’t even have saltines or some sort of cracker. My boy’s burgers were just OK and my wife just thought her chicken was OK at best.
The service is what really puts this place in the dumps. Like I mentioned earlier, the food took forever to come out. To be fair, our waiter offered us free salad bars for the whole table, but I was already having one and my wife and boys didn’t want more food than what they ordered.
While waiting on food, a server was busing a table behind us and while he was carrying plates, he accidentally spilled water on my wife’s side. He did apologize, but didn’t bother to get any us extra napkins. I got up and went and asked for some at the server station. The server who spilled the water finally came back with extra napkins and apologized again about 5 minutes later. It was an accident, it happens, but put the stuff you’re carrying down and get the customer something to dry off with quickly. Not almost 5 minutes later.
Once the food came, the server almost dumped all of my youngest son’s fries on the table because she was complaining the plate was hot. Why in the hell wasn’t she using a towel or pot holder? Then we noticed my wife’s second side was not on her plate, so we informed the waiter. He said the side would be out soon. It never came and I reminded him as we were paying. As I’m signing the check to leave, the manager brings me a card for 1 free salad bar. Really? I took the card, but I tossed it in the trash on the way out the door.
This place is just full of incompetence and below average food. I ABSOLUTELY won’t be back… EVER!!!

Worst Experience of visiting RT. On 6÷30÷14 visited this place with family. As we started eating salad, live insects were found in food. Ugh !! Manager was called and shown. She took off charges of salad from cheque but service and her attitude was intolerable. Will never return. RT being one of my fav have left very unpleasant experience. It’s very surprising with so many displeasured customer reviews, still management is not trying to improvise things !!

Worst service! Will never return. Waiter was slow. Food was slow coming. Trying to get the check took forever. Then the credit card machine was not working. Awesome way to miss a graduation.

Terrible! The only saving grace is the salad bar and thank god for that… we had to ask for a children’s menu, my son is obviously little and when I mentioned this, I was told… you didn’t ask for one? I didn’t know I had too… then right after were given the menu the waitress says, are you ready? Ugh. A little time please… what bothered me was the waitress never brought us those little biscuits until the end of our meal, while people around us got plate after plate, funny how she spoke Spanish to a Spanish couple was super attentive to them and we could wait. rude! Our food. not good… my burger was an oily Overcooked mess! I asked for it medium rare it was very well done, my sons Mac and cheese was obviously microwaved. Never again! Also when my son ordered fruit pinch they fave him a juice box… he asked for water never came, well never again

Went in with a party of 10 on a Sunday afternoon about 13:00, the restaurant was half empty The service started out ok, but quickly turned into a game of has anyone seen our waiter. When we did get his attention looked suppressed that we needed anything. Our food orders came out one and two at a time 1hour after we ordered! The manager had some lots lame excesses. The food was ok, but lunch took three (3) hours.

I was one of a party of four who went a couple of weeks ago for dinner. For drinks, we ordered a strawberry daquiri, a mojito and two beers. The mojito was so-​so — the garnish was a strange woody/​fibrous type of stick; the daquiri seemed to have just a few drops of rum.
We ordered two small steak w/​lobster tail, the seafood trio and ribs.
The lobster tails were small, the meat overcooked, tough and stringy. It was also salty BEFORE being dipped into the butter. The crab cake was also pathetic — about 3 inches in diameter and about ½ inch thick; the shrimp (3) were just, well, sad.
One of us ordered the small steak «medium rare»; it took them THREE tries to get it right! So, one of us was left nudging around his overcooked vegetables while others ate, and then we got to watch him finish his dinner. The steaks were also salty.
The management did not even offer a discount or a free drink for the inconvenience.
The ribs were delicious, but not very much sauce on them.
The service was «okay», but nothing remarkable.
I can’t imagine going there again, taking someone there for a meal or recommending it to someone else.
My advice is — if you’re going to go out to dinner, spend a little bit more at a nicer restaurant for much better food!
It is a sports bar type of atmosphere, with TVs poised at every turn.

I’m not surprised at all that this location doesn’t even have a full 3 stars.
I came here with my boyfriend and his brother’s girlfriend awhile back. We ordered some kind of Mexican food appetizer, and the manager came out to apologize that the food truck just got there & the avocados were way too hard to mash up. Then when the waitress came with our drinks, she actually SMELLED MY SODA — literally put it right up to her nose and took a whiff — in order to distinguish which one was coke and which one was root beer. SERIOUSLY? We were pissed and actually just left, but they nicely didn’t even make us pay for the drinks. Thank God Chili’s was a lot better next door.

I last visited this place a couple of weeks ago and the service I had was terrible. I don’t fully blame the waiter. I do put a lot of the blame on the manager and the cooks. If I didn’t get the salad bar, I would have starved to death. I must’ve eaten 2 – 3 plates of salad since it took 45 minutes for my burger to come out. I asked for the free complimentary biscuits and the waiter said that he’ll get some if there are any available. Meanwhile another couple sitting next to me that got there 20 mins after I did got 4 biscuits. My girlfriend and I got one (after asking again). One biscuit. Really??? Just don’t even bother bringing one out and waiting for the next batch. To make matters worse, the other couple didn’t even finish theirs (they left two on the plate… as I stared at it salivating at the thought of eating something other than leaves).
My burger come out well done (asked for medium well), without the onion rings, with mayo and red onion (both asked not to be on there). My girlfriend’s salmon was heavily peppered (it looked terrible). We were just so hungry that we didn’t both making a big deal. The waiter just looked overwhelmed.
Finally, they did offer a free complimentary dessert, but we didn’t feel like staying another hour so we just asked for the check. You would think that maybe they would comp the salad bar, but NO. Nothing. They just expected us to take the dessert and waste more time. Unfortunately this is one of the few restaurants near the Leesburg Outlets that doesn’t get packed, so we go there often. Will I be back? Not anytime soon. Please change my mind.
