We got a coupon in the mail and gave them a try. Overall the experience was just ok. The kabob’s themselves were just acceptable. They were not quite as juicy or flavorful as some other places in town. However, the side dishes were amazing. We had a number of the sides and they were all excellent. All in all, I’d eat here again if in the area, but probably wouldn’t drive out here just to eat.

Great service, clean, fast service & polite staff. The chicken & steak were very yummy, seasoning was perfect, rice & bread were also very good. We chose extra salad instead of the beans/chick peas, the salad could use a little bit of dressing other than the sauce that comes with the platter.

This place has THEBEST gyros in the surrounding area. The meat is good, the sauce is good, and the veggies are fresh. It doesn’t get better than that.

Consistently good Afghan food. We always get the boneless chicken with chick peas or spinach. Flavor and quality are always good.

Stopped by for a quick dinner while shopping. Had an amazing gyro and fries. My wife had a kabob platter — yummy! Lots of food, fresh made and reasonably priced. And got a large pizza to take home. Watch out for green chili sauce — spicy!

We just moved here from Stone Ridge where once a week we would get the best authentic kabob place I have ever had, called Khan kabob. So naturally we want to continue with our once a week tradition here in Leesburg. Sadly, this place is subpare. I called to order two boneless chicken with chickpeas and explained to the man on the phone how we LOVE the green yogurt sauce and will gladly pay for two large bowls every time we order(which is what we got every time at Khan with a smile and no fight I might add!) We went to pick up our food and the man fights with us and does not give us even enough sauce to eat half of our food. We got two small bowls not even filled half way. I will pay you for the sauce, why am I fighting to get sauce? Right there this place is OUT as our place to go every week. BUT on top of the horrible service, the chickpeas are from a can and taste horrible! the bread is ok, the rice leaves a weird taste in your mouth that doesn’t go away, the green sauce was ok for the very small amount we got. Overall this place is awful, not authentic, not friendly, doesn’t care about the customer, won’t adapt to what the customer wants which means less money in their pocket! The food tastes pretty bad if you know what authentic kabob taste like. Go to Khan in chantilly or Ravi near DC owners of Flame, you will learn a lot, those are real kabob restaurants with great service that will take my money for extra sauce!

Good good good. We had the lamb kabobs with chick peas, rice, salad, naan bread and hummus. Chick peas was well seasoned and the rice was soft and delicate to chew. Other than the lamb was overcooked it was still a great place to eat, I will try again.

Food is good! The service was not the best. The guy taking the order was more interested in what was on the tv and got my order wrong. He didn’t even make eye contact. We were only people in the restaurant and it took awhile to get our food.

Called in our order. Said 15 minutes. Got there and hadn’t even started our order. 40 minutes later got my food. While I was waiting they had done this to two other customers. Service is terrible. Not worth the hassle.

I always like to attend a place at least 2x before reviewing anything. First visit we order steak and lamb kabobs they were absolutely delish second visit we ordered steak and cheese subs and gyros. Steak and cheese was a 100% no go(I will not be eating that again) but the gyro was to die for!!! I am not giving it a 4 star because I really think they but the care a quality a customer would want but the steak and cheese just wasn’t for me. I also believe a business any business should stick to what they are good at. Dropping the steak and cheese would allow them more profit not less. Friendly staff, and attentive people makes this place my new favorite place. We nick-named it «Bob’s Kabob» lol. Love it keep up the good work we will see you for lunch next week!!!

I have been to Flame Kabob a bunch of times. The chicken kabob platter is my favorite. The chicken and rice are cooked perfectly every time. I also love their chickpeas and spicy dal. If you don’t want a whole platter, I recommend the chicken souvlaki. It’s a casual atmosphere, and kid friendly.

The menu is inaccurate. The service is horrible. The food is disgusting and I am still trying to wash the taste out of my mouth. I ordered the kubideh/keema kabob plate which was 1⁄3 soggy salad 1⁄3 greasy fries and 1⁄3 kabob(2pieces) with a half of a naan and rice. The salad was stale and soggy and generally inedible. The fries tasted like grease with oil dripping down. The kabob tasted bland and for $ 13 you would expect something amazing. Avoid this place at all costs. Maybe the prices are hiked up because they’re in front of the theatre? Either way, if I could give it 0 stars I would. This is the second and last time I’m going here. If you have ever eaten kabobs or have any general knowledge about them you would run away also.

Hidden jem! The food here does not deserve to be on plastic and paper plates! Very good food for the price, interesting artwork on the walls. Only complaint would be they need to offer hot tea.

The first time I found this place I just strolled in. I still haven’t tried any other foods beside the gyro combo(which I love). I’ve been back at least a dozen times and when I’m in the mood for a hot savory gyro and fries I stop by. The meals are fairly priced; the combinations are a great bargain. The interior is simple, clean but simple. And the employees are reasonably friendly. By chance I always end up ordering from an elderly man, who I take to be either the owner or head manager. He grins whenever I come by, probably because I visit at regular intervals. I am surprised that I’ve never seen more than a few diners here at once, could be due to the location. I hope this place stays open because I do enjoy the gyros.

I’ve been back to this place three times in the last year… I was hoping I was catching them on a bad day but it’s just the restaurant in general apparently. The man taking my order looked like he was extremely angry and that I was bothering him with my order. I ordered a lamb kabob combo to go and while I waited I noticed how dirty the kitchen was they were cooking in. You could see how everything could have used a good scrub down and there were dirty dishes and nasty coffee pots out. This was on both occasions. And to top it off a cockroach on the counter on my last visit and one under the table this time. Now the food… I will summarize with I still can’t get the taste out of my mouth and I’ve brushed twice. One word, Avoid!

We stopped by the movie theater to get tickets and I just happened to ask the young girl behind the counter about this place. She said that she really liked their steak and cheese. I hadn’t even thought about THAT as an option here. Well, I’m glad I asked and even happier that I tried their steak and cheese. The seasoning on the steak was amazing and the fries were just the way I like them! I definitely suggest trying this restaurant!

Stand by my four stars here, despite what others are saying. Tried it again today and had the chicken Philly. It was really good, although I wish peppers and mushrooms were part of the toppings and that the bun had been toasted just a little more. But they use the flame-grilled chicken that they use on the kabobs, and it’s so super tasty. There are little things, yeah — ripped up seats, strange décor, had to remind the staff that they forgot the side of spinach I ordered… but overall, they’re friendly and the food is great and a pretty good value too. Really seems to be about the best option for a quick and tasty lunch in the Wegman’s plaza there. Next time I’ll try the gyro and/or the pizza now that I’ve had the Indian and cheesesteak options. Feel like this place is getting a worse reputation than it deserves based on my experiences there. It’s not the best thing ever, but it’s darn good.

We were a bit early to the movie at Cobb Theater so we ventured out and tried this little kabob place. When we go there at 6:30, hardly anyone in site except the family I guess of this establishment camped out in the corner with little kids running around and grandma. The girl from the cash register was going back and forth from the table feeding the kids and they were more worried about getting their own food than serving the paying customers. We waited over 20 minutes for our food in a place where there are hardly any patrons. Not good. My little Manager’s Special consisted of a sandwich, a side dish and a drink, very good deal for 7 bucks. However, after two bites, there was no filling content and all you had was bread. My son had a ground lamb kabob and my daughter ordered a salad. Bad news on the salad, with wilted brown lettuce, horrible. This place is not even in the same caliber as Moby Dick for service, selection and quality. Avoid.
