HyOx Medical Treatment Center – Gwinnett

i was a patient at hyox and received 6 weeks of oxygen therapy. the benefit of the treatments exceeded my expectations! because of radiation therapy to my mouth in 1996, my oral surgeon, dentist and ent prescribed hyperbaric treatments prior to the extraction of 14 teeth. i was told this would promote faster healing and avoid any damage to my jawbone (osteonecrosis). after 20 treatments, my teeth were extracted and then 10 additional treatments, or «dives» as we affectionately call them, after the extractions. to my pleasant surprise, i experienced no pain, no excessive bleeding, no inflammation to my mouth or face and no bruising to my face. i thank my oral surgeon and hyox for this miraculous outcome. my dentist and oral surgeon examined me within a week of extractions and both were amazed at the rate of healing. i might add, i’m 72 years old!
you couldn’t ask for a better staff than dr. king and the rest of the gang at hyox, gwinnett county. they are all very knowledgeable, pleasant, helpful and ready to take whatever steps are necessary to make your 2 hour visit with them comfortable and enjoyable. they treat all types of problem healings including surgery incisions, amputations and cancer treatment areas along with preventative treatments such as mine.
i would highly recommend dr. king and hyox gwinnett to anyone requiring hyperbaric oxygen therahy. free parking too! elaine
