This place is a dump! Not only is the quality of pizza and garlic knots subpar, but it smells, it’s ugly and their bathrooms are rusting and tiny! This is definitely a school kids hangout spot. The garlic knots didn’t have the essence of the garlic knot, GARLIC! The pepperoni on our pizza was awful. You’re better off going to Palermo’s in Ewing or DeLorenzo’s in Hamilton/Robbinsville.

Definitely a high school hangout for the Lawrenceville School crowd, but it’s a good place to get a quick slice for lunch. A slice of plain is $ 2.00, and can be inconsistent. Speciality slices can get pricey, but the Brooklyn slice is the best in the area: chunky plum tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, just the right amount of chopped basil, and a drizzle of olive oil. No reason to stray.

Have been ordering here for years, decided to order pizza tonight and was very disappointed. Their pizza used to be very good and for some reason they decided to change the recipe and now it tastes awful!!, the dough was very chewy, there was barely any crust(which stinks because I LOVE the crust), And the sauce was sub par… I really hope they decide to make some changes and rethink their recipe or make it like they used to, I really don’t wanna stop going here, but that gives me enough reason to take my business elsewhere… Get your shit together Tjs!

I was told not go there cause a lot people’s credit card or debit card numbers were charged overseas after being used there, but I didn’t listen. Some weeks after I used my Card there, I got a message from my bank, you know the rest of the story! I felt irked that the guy didn’t return my card immediately after swiping it. He probably did something behind the machine. And their counter is really high. I have to be on my tippy toes to sign the receipt. And they have cameras all over the places, pointing at the eating area, very odd for a pizza place

Missed opportunity. The pizza at TJs is delicious. The dinner items are above and. beyond pizza place fare. The salads are fresh and delicious. Orders are ready quickly even when crowded. Great staff they can really cook well! It is studenty but what pizza place isn’t? However, The facility both inside and out is dreary and well … Dirty. You have to hold your nose to use the bathroom as it smells like there’s a sewer gas leak. How does that pass health code? The whole place needs a paint job. The flooring is gross. How hard is it to paint the outdoor tables black or buy new ones. This place is fairly busy and I am sure they can afford a few upgrades. Owners do not take any pride in their business but the manager and staff does. Where are owners? Very curious. I’m sure many people unfamiliar with its history walk by missing the opportunity for good food because it just looks dodgy.

Good pizza, but the atmosphere is very much a high school hangout. Good for a quick bite though.

Under new ownership! The sauce is much MUCH better now, it tastes more fresh than before, and is no longer this weird sour tomato goop. Had the Brooklyn pie and it was very very good. Would recommend again now that it’s under new ownership!

This is the best pizza around! The Brooklyn is better than any I have had anywhere else. The BBQ Chicken and Buffalo Chicken are also excellent.

Pizza was delicious! I had a slice of buffalo chicken and a slice of tomato, broccoli and ricotta. The only thing I could have asked for would have been blue cheese on the buff chicken. The crust was so crispy and delicious I may call it one of the best I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to return to try more delicious pies.

We must not know how to order pizza here, or the ovens were off today. I had had a Brooklyn pie from TJ’s at a friend’s house, and it was pretty good. Today I took my family to try it. We started with meatballs & a salad. The meatballs were in a mild – but not sweet, thankfully – sauce, but room temperature. There was flavour and a good texture, but nothing special. The salad was made a few days ago, with dried out and sour disks of carrot & radish, and bell peppers we wouldn’t touch. The balsamic in the vinaigrette was good, but the soybean oil not. The pizza, like the meatballs, wasn’t hot enough after waiting for it for 20 minutes. The fresh mozzarella not melted enough – they picked off of the pizza easily. The dough was too thick, though the edges were good. Fresh basil, dried oregano, grated Parmesan, and a drizzle of olive oil – it was decent, but not mind blowing. I miss Nino’s in Bay Ridge. We will give this basic, no frills pizza joint another chance; it may be that we have to ask for the pizza to be extra thin and crispy, or as Conte’s corrects us, «well done». $ 30 for a pizza, salad, meatballs, and water, including tip.
