They say they have the best chicken wings in the world. They are so wrong. I love chicken wings and I have eaten them in many restaurants. Their wings are nothing less than horrible. The skin is soft and soggy, there is no spice in the wings at all. I asked for hot sauce on the side and they gave me something similar to salsa. Wings should be crisp with some spice. This place has no décor. No server, and most of the tables were dirty. This is definitely just a college hang-out.

Whenever I’m in the area I stop in for a buffalo chicken slice– so yummy! I also love their specialty penne slice but they don’t have it very often. A tad on the greasier side but decent pizza for the area!

I’m currently a Rider student so I come here every once in a while for a bite to eat. The speciality pizzas are decent, nothing to rave about and from what I’ve heard they have good subs and salads. Overall things are overpriced especially since they don’t have any stand out dishes. I guess they know that the students and athletes will go there regardless of prices since it’s so conveniently close

I’d say it’s decent, but not someplace I’d want to revisit. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, and while it was not as greasy as some pepperoni pizzas I’ve had, the crust was way too doughy. It had the consistency of a frozen pizza crust. It wasn’t bad, but the two star rating of «meh, I’ve experienced better» is definitely applicable here.

I get the gluten free pizza, which is really good compared to other gluten free pizza’s I’ve had. However, its STUPID expensive, especially because no toppings come on it, you have to add them for $ 1.50 each, so my pizza with NOCHEESE and 3 toppings is $ 19.00, they wouldn’t even let me sub one of the toppings for the cheese. I would order again if it was reasonably priced. Definitely not worth the money.

Italian hot dog needs potatoes on it too. It only had hot dog, peppers & onions.

It’s not that expensive and I wouldn’t say it’s the best but they’re ok. I love the bacon wiz fries but I just ordered a wrap and let’s just say, there’s a reason they aren’t known for wraps. The stuff inside was good but how they wrapped it was horrible. I couldn’t even take a bite without it falling apart.

Overpriced and food isn’t that great. Expect to pay 5 bucks for a soup that comes in a medium sized Dunkin donuts cup with stale crackers. No joke.

best place ever. don’t go anywhere else. I’m a dietitian and care about quality of my food. Got a cheeseless, extra veggie gluten free pizza and it was amazing.

It’s a shame I live near such a poor pizza place. This place is only alive because the local kids have nowhere else as convenient to eat pizza. Cardboard-like crust and poor marinara sauce. Overall the pizza sucks. We are in Jersey and there’s countless better pizza joints nearby!

I’ve only been here once. My husband has been going to varsitys since high school. I thought the pizza was very good. I love it when the pizza crust is crunchy when u bite into it and their pizza was just like that. Crunchy and cheesy but not over the top. The girls working the counter were very helpful and very nice as soon you walk in. Overall a great place!

Been going here since it started(1988 maybe?), and the menu keeps expanding, and food gets better. They have many specials and a large pizza menu… but other home-made dishes, cannolis at times, soups. They just redid the décor, and it’s quite nice. Staff is friendly. You know what they say: go where the neighborhood goes for the best deals, and here’s on of them.

Horrible pizza and below average wings. Gotta do better than that if you’re in Jersey. Won’t go back.

This is the best pizza in the area, and Varsity is reliable and consistent. The crust is a nice blend of crispy on the outside and slightly chewy on the inside so your bite goes clean through the crust. The sauce is excellent, about as good as anything I’ve had in North Jersey or NY, and is a great foundation for the rest of their dishes and subs. They get high volumes on Friday nights and some other nights, but always handle it very smoothly

very very average pizza, sandwiches flat out suck, they chop the meat for a steak like dogfood

Ordered pepperoni pizza from here as I absolutely hate national chain pizza. Varsity pizza made a terrible one. Crust was soggy and layer of cheese is as thick as the crust which was a problem. Sauce was too salty/sour for our taste. Will probably never go back to the place for pizza.

I’ve been going here for almost 20 years. Over that time the pizza has been hit and miss, depending on who’s making it. Whoever’s doing it now is excellent. They now have lots of varieties that they didn’t in the past. Neighborhood place that’s popular with students. Friendly staff too.

Ordered pizza from here a couple of times. No trouble with service, but the pizza was bland and not memorable.

I was working in the area and someone got me a cheesesteak from this place. It was good. Good mix of cheese and steak, good ingredients and a really soft, delicious roll. I can’t comment on anything else, but if you’re in the area, it seems like it’s a good bet.
