Spots been open for a few months now. First time trying out Corner Joint and I am pleased. Great specials, yummy food, friendly service and attentive, cheap drinks. We will partake in the mere future.

This is my favorite place to go on Sundays after I get off work. Beer is always cold and food is good.

I have seen this place evolve… slowly but surely. It looks great. It’s a great place for beer and food whether family night or date night. Awesome little hang-out. Definitely will be coming here more often.

Love pizza, I ordered pizza from here about 5 months ago and ordered pepperoni and garlic. That being said I thought it was the best pizza yet about a month ago my husband wanted to try Pizza Man because everyone says it’s really good… I was disappointed, in every bite I took I thought I’d bite a piece of garlic but it never happened… So I ended up at corner joint order pizza and here I am pepperoni and garlic yummy I will definitely order it again… Awesome customer service over the phone… That garlic, hit the spot…

Didn’t expect much from this place. But we went by here to finish the day to check out their happy hour. We were greeted immediately when walking in. Apparently they have different specials each day. The happy hour is everyday from 3−7pm. The place still needs some remodeling done. But it’s inviting and a nice little spot. The name suits it very well. We ordered two different pizzas, chicken quesodilla, beers and wine. The pizza. Well… you know what? it aint bad at all! I wasn’t expecting much but holy shit… they actually know how to much pizza here. Good indigence and tasted very fresh. It was a tasty pizza! Chicken quesadilla. The chicken was fresh and cooked properly. Lightly seasoned and a ok. Nothing to complain. Just your basic good tasting chicken quesadilla. Oh and it came with a salsa they make in house. It isn’t bad either. Beer and wine during happy hour is $ 1 off so beer comes out to $ 3 or so. Not bad. We all had a good time here. It has AMAZING service and I do mean AMAZING. I think that’s what really made it memorable for me. Overall I’d say check it out for a lunch special or a quick bite with a beer. The food is decent and the price is right. AND the people are kind and helpful. Food: Slightly above average. Pizza definitely above average. Décor: New and updated. But unfinished bar area. Staff/Customer service: Amazing, fast and professional. No complaints. Cleanliness: Very clean Bathrooms: N/A

This place used to be called Jino’s. It’s got great food(the pies are some of the best I’ve tasted in soCal), and it tends to be empty during the days. Although it’s set in the corner of a semi-strip mall by a Pep Boys and has most of its façade in floor-to-ceiling plate glass, it has some privacy for those who seek it – although not at the bar, which puts patrons’ back to the street through the window. Sometimes they have sports on the TV playing while radio is piped in, but despite the two audio signals, I enjoy the place. The food and the service is great and good respectively, and that is what makes up the 4 stars.

Ok… this is my new review since the place went from Jino’s Original Pizza to Corner Joint. I’m really glad about pretty much all the changes so far. The happy hour deals are pretty good. Beer, wine and a few food items range from $ 3 – 5 during happy hour. They also have lunch specials for $ 7. So far I’ve had the pizza, wings and the nachos during the happy hour… and several glasses of beer! The pizza has come leaps and bounds from when it was Jino’s. It’s the same owners but they upped their pizza game majorly. The crust tastes like the dough is made fresh in house… which should be the way any pizza joint should make it. They do sell other things besides pizzas but from what I can tell, pizza is still their staple and they are doing it better than ever. The wings were decent too. On Wednesdays you can get six wings with fries and veggies for $ 6. Not a bad deal. They aren’t anything to write home about but they definitely did the job without a doubt. Maybe if they were fried crispy before they are tossed in the sauces they would be better. None the less I’m sure I’ll be ordering the wings again. The beef nachos I could take or leave. I think they were good because I was tipsy I also like the changes they made to the interior. Love the leather chair and booths, and the wood tables with their logo painted on with the effect like it had been branded on. Very nice, rustic but very stylish. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars yet is because it does feel a little incomplete as far as the décor and painting. There is a lot of potential for this place to be a huge success if they keep up what they are doing. I think they should also work on their marketing to help get some butts in the seats. All this to say that I have definitely found a new hang out and it’s right across the street!!! Now I can stumble home drunk :-) Put Corner Joint on your radar to at least try the happy hour first… I don’t think you’ll leave disappointed

Place is pretty good, pizza is excellent. Usually gather here after work for some beers and pizza. Nice open layout can pull tables together for bigger groups. The owner is real a nice dude.

1st time here, so far I’ve just paid, based on the unfriendly personality of the cashier an the suspicious looking guys in the kitchen. I’ve started to regret this choice, which was strictly out of convenience. Stay tuned to a part two of this review.

In comparison to a lot of other places around the area, jino’s is my favorite place for pizza. I went for the first time last year with a friend and the service was great. A lot of other local places that I have tried lack what jino’s has. Easily the best pizza in the south bay area!

I’m not a pizza fan so I try their pizza out because Jino’s sponsors our softball team. I truly love pizza again and only Jino’s! So I venture to try new things. Mike n Cheese is original and like no other. Salmon and Seabass off the hook and cooked to perfection every time. Who would have known and all under $ 11. Veggies crispy and my favorite. I’m a big eater and their portions are a good amount. If you haven’t tried them, stop by soon. I promise it will be worth it.

Jinos! Your not the same… I used to be a regular here for years during basketball season… and during the MLB playoff runs and World Series… I would always come with my boys for pizza, wings, and beer… and the former owners and employees knew us and were super koo with us but Then came the new ownership. (Another blank stare)… smh I can’t come here no more! the new jinos is not somewhere you go with your boys the dim lighting makes it uncomfortable for dudes just trying to catch a game and cheer there team and it almost forces the quiet restaurant conversation basically dudes can’t be dudes here We never came cuz the food was great, we came cuz it was somewhere a dude can watch a laker game, chill, local, had family feel, no pressure or pushy waitresses, like over crowded spots like bwws You can tell there trying to draw female demographic but it’s not like the food is of such quality that you’d recommend it and there’s no cocktails which is what really brings in the ladies not dim lighting and table cloths I don’t appreciate the new search for an «identity» I guess … Take it from a regular for a good 8 – 10 yrs its no longer a place I feel welcome. Pizza, wings, and beers on tap was your thing jinos… I loved it I don’t even know you anymore. 2stars only because of our history together good bye!

This place is great! The boyfriend and I come here all the time! They’re remodeling, so every time we go in it’s looking better and better. The service is great! They know who we are, memorized our order lol they even let us pre-order by phone so as soon as we walk in, our order is ready! :D The wings are some of the best wings we’ve had too! The pizza is really yummy, although I liked how they made the pizza before with a thicker crust, it’s still delicious tho! :)

Very dissapointed. This place has been there forever, however, apparently they are under new owners. Tonight was our first time there we ordered calzones, they have NO idea what a calzone is. The ricotta cheese was no where to be found, it had very very little muzarella and no taste to it. Now I know why I had never been there before. I will stick to Pizza Show just up the road and ask them to make calzones

came here with my fam. ordered a large deluxe and 10 hot wings. The wings were really good, they had a honey, spicy but sweet taste to it. served with a choice of bbq or ranch sauce with celery and carrots on the side. the pizza was okay, I feel that for the price($ 16 for a large) it could have been a lot better. they didn’t have a hostess or a waiter, only 2 bartenders who kept taking turns assisting us so you can only imagine how slow the service was. the bar was at full capacity, it was so loud we had to yell to have a conversation. when we did get service they were pretty attentive. when I checked in to Unilocal I received an offer for a free desert, we flagged down the bartender and ordered a chocolate cake. We waited for about 10 – 15 minutes and it never came so we decided to leave. overall I don’t see myself coming back. maybe for some beers and wings or until they decide to hire some waiters.

Good stuff… When I walked in I wasn’t too sure but the pizza was good. Got a meat pizza with meatballs and chorizo.
