After the experience at the other Popeyes in Laurel this establishment is amazing. I’m sorry that I have ever taken it for granted. I am always greeted by the employees and I always have fresh chicken. Occasionally my order may be wrong, but the staff has never hesitated to fix it. I am of course rating this four stars based on a fast food restaurant.

This is my favorite Popeyes store. It has been here for awhile and is starting to look a little long in the tooth. On the plus side they have a great staff with relatively low turnover. The place is clean and is one of the few fast food restaurants to have Coke zero. On the minus side there is no Coke Freestyle machine and the restrooms are archaic. Also, the IHOP next door uses up most of the available parking. The TV is only viewable from the order line, but not the dining room.

Been here 2 times in the last month and I’ll definitely be back! I’m a dark meat person, so usually drumsticks and thighs are my favorite. But this is the only Popeyes who cooks the chicken breast to perfection; very juicy and moist and not dry like every other place I’ve been to. Their biscuits are so soft and moist I can devour up to 3. Other Popeyes biscuits are usually cold by the time we get it. Drive-thru workers have been really friendly & never been stingy on giving sauces :) We ordered the 16 pc. –which comes with 3 sides, but this time they short us 1 side of mashed potatoes. Sucks, but the chicken, biscuits, and fries are so good we’re not complaining

I mean, its Popeyes what can I say? Staff is hit or miss, my last visit I was greeted by LC who could not have been more pleasant or efficient, I wish they were all like him! Food is good, my biscuits were warm and soft, they werent stingy with the sauces and we had plenty of napkins for our greasy fingers. I cant complain, will return whether I want to or not, when fried chicken calls, I answer!

Although its fast food, customer service still should be quality. especially since prices have increased. So i didn’t feel like cooking I decided to go to Popeyes. I ordered a 5 stripe meal cooked fresh. The box was so cold I opened the box up and told the manager the food was cold. She apologized and spoke the cook who had an attitude then yelled 10 mins for my food. I understand its late you wanna get off, but I didn’t make you work for Popeyes. Be mad at your career decision not me. So the manager came out and stated the cook was trying to be funny. I dont think its funny when someone hungry. Overall The service sucked but the food is good.

No spicy strips? WTF!!! It has been a few years now and still no spicy strips!!! I demand them back! I guess it is off to the other Laurel Popeyes who still make them. Though this location is much nicer, cleaner and the food is almost always executed better. The chicken is plumper, smells more delicious and usually has an extra piece or two at times. The drive thru has a tight turn, so if you like your tires and rims do yourself a favor and go inside.
