Rolladen Rolling Shutters

I purchased my first home two years ago here in the Vegas valley. The very first week I moved into my new home I was woken by the «thumping» sounds of music from the school playground that is adjacent to my bedroom balcony Doors and blazing HOT extremely bright eastern August sunshine! I made the call to Rolladen Rolling Shutters to schedule an appointment to learn more about the different product options and the benefits they offer. The sales team quickly scheduled an appointment within two days and accommodated my busy work schedule. The friendly sales team met me at my home to answer all my questions and help guide me in picking out the very best fitting and color coordinating shutters for my specific needs. They explained to me not only the security features but also the numerous other benefits including noise reduction, sunlight cancellation, thermal and energy bill saving factor, and cooling component during the summer months. I couldn’t wait to have the shutters custom designed and installed! I was able to get the custom measurements for my doors and windows done the same day– Whoo– hoo! I was one step closer to a more peaceful and restful night! The company expedited my order and the professional installation team arrived to install my new custom shutters. The installation team was very friendly and explained the process and reviewed the product placement details with me before starting the project. Upon completion of the installation they tested the shutters and made some adjustments and then gave me a demonstration on the remote system and guided me on how to use the shutters. I was glad they walked me through the tutorial and safety features that were included. Two years after installation I absolutely LOVE the benefits of these shutters! My master bedroom is now noticeably much cooler during the summer months– yay! sunlight cancellation in my room has been amazing– no light :), noise reduction from the school-​I can sleep again! And an extra protective level of security gives me peace of mind. Zzzzzz… A special thanks to the whole Rolladen Rolling shutters team for being professional, timely, designing experts, product knowledge, and quick installation time. It’s great to be able to Sleep again night after night which keeps me HAPPY and HEALTHY and not grumpy!

Rolladen Shutters of Las Vegas seems to be a very poorly run company with a good product. It took a total of 6 visits to put the shutters in one bedroom. First visit was the sales lady, Visit two for the measurement, visit three for the wrong color of shutters delivery, visit four for the first install which had scratches on the shutters, visit five for the replacement of those shutters which were cut wrong and installed about 1″ too short, visit six visit was the correct shutters correctly installed. Keep in mind I had to call and ask that the problems be addressed, not one of the installers pointed out the problems. I am grateful they did stick with me, but I held out payment until the job was done correctly. All in all it took seven weeks. Installation was to be done in June, it was done correctly July 28,

BEST ROLLING SHUTTERS period!!! I’m so pleased with our new «lock your house down» shutters… I had every single window done including all the doors. While I live in Section 10 in a gated fabulous neighborhood… I still worry about intruders. We roll the shutters down at night and and the house is dark and safe. They block noise, light, and intruders. In the day it blocks the sun. The heat. Which in turn means less on the air bill. It makes my house look clean contemporary on the outside. The company is awesome because I am a perfectionist and everything I ask for I get a Yes. I love great service. I love great quality. I checked out all the other companies and while some offered a little discount I wanted the best. This is the best.

The sales rep was very nice, but their estimate was more than twice that of the competition and their product was not as durable or as well warrantied.
They also didn’t want to move one penny off their price to be competitive… sooooo…

It sounds like some people only read the bad comments. I have had Rolladen Shutters on my home for 12 years and am extremely happy with their product and service. Someone has always answered the phone when I call, and their service department came out within 2 days to do my minor repair. I have recommended Rolladen Shutters on West Charleston to many friends who have purchased them. I have never heard one friend ever say a bad word about this company!

I emailed Rolladen with all of my windows sizes as their website would have you do in order to obtain a quote. I received a phone call from one of their representatives stating that I’d get a more accurate quote if she came out and measured. No problem, I was curious to see how much it would actually cost. I got a quote of almost $ 8,100. The rep tried to get me to purchase the shutters on the spot. Thank goodness I knew to get a second quote. The second company came out and gave me a quote almost $ 3,000 cheaper to do the same work. Shop around before purchasing from Rolladen. Glad I did.

I will never do business with Rolladen. Their customer service is awful. I have emails and pictures to back up everything I will say here. They put a hole in my stucco. They came to fix it. I was told it will take 2 – 3 visits. After two visits, they refused to come out to finish the job and won’t paint it. Their repairmen have adjusted them where the light was shining in. That area was better but another area became a problem. The light shining in, it was determined by the owner of another company, is because of the poor product Rolladen uses. It is made in Texas and not the xlnt European shutters for the same price. The material where the roller rolls is inferior and wore out in just a few years.
