Went here for PKU testing on our baby son, which has to be done within 15 days, after his birth(that’s the deadline). Conveniently located in the same building, in the lobby, as our pediatrician’s office. The sign up sheet is on the clipboard at the front desk. Your name will be called. You will pay the co-payment at this time. There was a lot of people(an almost-full waiting room) on that particular day, but it actually went very fast. The triage nurse told us he would apply something to the baby’s skin, that would take a few minutes to take effect. When we met with the phlebotomist, she closed the door(to prepare for crying/screaming). And yes, he did do that. She pricked his foot, and applied the blood to the five circles on the card. A bandaid was applied. A few minutes later, we were out the door. Of course, this lady announced loudly to the rest of the staff remaining, «That’s the smallest baby I’ve ever done!»

It’s blood work, so I won’t comment too much. The location is pretty central. It’s a little difficult to find at first but it’s right behind the Smith’s, and you enter through Charleston not Rancho. Make an appointment! I know they usually don’t have appointment until a week or so out, but if you have one you are in and out within 15 minutes.
