Good place to gamble and have fun next to the Strip. Good drinks, cheap and profitable gamble(full payout BJ for $ 3), nice looking dancing ladies, the music was a bit loud for me though. Will be back for sure.

The price was ok until they hit us with a $ 20 dollar a night resort fee on top of the original price. Rooms were barely passable as clean. Food was shitty. Won’t be coming back here again. Also the tv’s in the rooms seem to be back from the 1980s

The location of this hotel is great, for the price, it was close to everything we wanted to do. However, the hotel is in a sad state of disrepair. The beds are uncomfortable and we paid over $ 20 a day resort fee to look out the window at a disgusting almost empty mildew pool being renovated. All of the horrible pictures are correct. The elevators are terrifying, and one even closed when we came back from lunch. The casino is small and feels like a frat house, and the staff look bored and uninterested, but they are nice. You don’t get lost here though and aren’t a 30 minute walk from the room in the hotel. Which is nice. The rooms are relatively clean but don’t expect anything to work properly. The televisions are old tube tvs and are probably 15 years old but whatever. The food at Hooters was not great but the waitresses were ok. Don’t expect anything and you won’t be disappointed.

So pretty much after reading reading reviews. This place is a scum hole. You want cheap prices in Vegas but still want a casino? Hooters hotel is here for you. The rooms are actuality quit big … But don’t worry the service sucks all that way. So I stayed here on MLK weekend and well we tried to get some ice for my drinks, when all of a sudden something falls out. We tried to report it. Somehow they don’t care. It’s a piece of crap hotel anyways. You get what you pay for people. P. s I would rather stay at motel 6.

Man, what a shithole. While the staff was probably the nicest in town and the rooms weren’t necessarily dirty, just stained and yellowed with age and renegade smoke, I can’t help but give weight to the abject disrepair of the whole building. My bathroom door didn’t shut. The water temperature in the shower was whimsical. Half the light bulbs were out and some of the outlets didn’t work. The sliding mirror closet door was both off the hinge and had a three foot crack in it. Our pool view was a dirt lot with half empty mosquito swamps. As for general«not keeping up with the times and other WTF,» the TV is an old box, there is no fridge or microwave, there were no comforters, there were only two towels set for a four person room. We asked for a different, less run down room and they showed us to a room in the other tower. It was smaller and just as jacked up with a giant water stain coming down the wall from the ceiling. We just kept the other room because our stuff was already there. They waived the resort fee and sent a maintenance guy to change the light bulbs. Our maid was awesome and hooked it up with more water and towels. Sweet lady. The staff at the saloon was really nice, too. It’s just too bad they work at such a sucky place.

Reading all the reviews of the hotel, seems like a lot of people had similar if not a worst experience… I’m adding to this review in hopes that whoever owns this place, that they please read the reviews and see all the pictures posted and possibly make some changes. These room are barely in livable condition. I get that it was the cheapest near strip however, this hotel should not charge clients a «a resort fee». We had 3 different rooms until one was barely ok. Everything from the floor, to the bathroom to the bed’s were absolutely disgusting. I can not belive even at the power price how unkempt this hotel is. I didn’t post any pics but please look at the pics on this Unilocal. The first room: we finally were about to get into bed, we peel off the covers and there about 12oz of coffee tucked in the sheets. So whoever did that, actually is proving that the maid does not do their job of changing g sheets before the next… Second room: the door to the balcony would not close, it was loud n cold. Third room: just plain disgusting. Their were bed bugs in one of the beds. The bathroom was worse than a gas station bathroom. The shower tub was beyond dirty. This should be last resort for anyone to stay there. Again price fits, but then they get you with a resort fee. STAYAWAY!

Never pay more than $ 20 to Stay here. So I was in Vegas with some friends for Thanksgiving weekend and kind of booked at the last minute so everything was kind of expensive. We decided to go with the cheapest deal available and boy do we regret it. I remember seeing specials on Groupon for $ 20 a night at Hooters(plus a free prime rib dinner!) so I thought how bad can it be??? I’ve stayed at budget hotels and casinos before like the Imperial Palace(before it changed to Linq) but this is more like a trash casino than a budget hotel. First of all, the rooms are extremely old and outdated. They need to be cleaned and renovated. The carpet is old, the beds are clean but look so old and worn out. Also the place looks like it was about to fall apart. The toilet took a while to flush, the iron was busted and broken, the ceiling walls were peeling, the shower did not have a shower mat, the room did not even have a chair for the desk or a small couch inside even though there was room for one. The hallways look outdated. I did not feel like I was staying in a hotel or casino, it was a cheap dirty motel. The only way I would stay here again is if I see that $ 20 deal again on Groupon and I’m only staying for one night. This hole is not worth paying a penny more.

Avoid at all costs. This place is a dump. my company was late making reservations for CES and the only thing left was Hooters. How bad could it be? The first room they gave me was filthy. While standing between the beds talking on the phone to the front desk to say the room wasn’t acceptable my shoe stuck to the rug. The 2nd room was just as bad. The 3rd room had a new carpet. However there were bugs in the room so I wasn’t staying in there. Finally they upgraded me to a suite. Their idea of a suite is two filthy rooms. This one was the best so far so I stayed. The shower in the bedroom looked sketchy so I used the one in the living room. The drain was slow. Not a big deal until I flushed the toilet and it backed up into the tub. The rooms all had old TVs with tubes. The one in the suite bedroom worked for about 5 min then turned RED.

The Hooter’s Casino isn’t the flashiest, it isn’t the brightest, but it is clean and the tables are pretty fun. I love the fact that you can get complimentary wings while you play poker. There is something to be said of trying to play Texas Hold’em with one hand while you eat a wing with the other. The food isn’t the best, the girls in the standard Hooter’s outfit aren’t the hottest, but come on its Las Vegas. You are a 5 minute walk from the New Strip and there is a ton of things to do. You are right next to Tropicana, Excalibur, New York New York, and MGM Grand and the monorail station right next to it. Its super close the air port and this place does not break the bank. I find this one small enough to enjoy and not big enough that you lose your way when you get separated from your friends.

Booked here because we had a 3 night comped stay… why not, right? Free is good but not this time. My mindset was: It was either stay at The Orleans on the same promo or have fun with Hooters girls… We should have gone to the Orleans and partied with the senior citizens, since they have more brains and personality and they have a poker room. I don’t even recall the last time I have given a 1 star to any business or ever at all. This Hooter’s hotel and casino is not what I remember going to over ten years ago. They lack the amount of gaming tables such as craps and there is no longer a poker room(A blackjack dealer told me that their old poker room did not attract any players)…not hard to imagine why. This hotel and casino is your destination if you want to be depressed. The Hooters girls could care less if anyone is there. The only exception is Iris. Iris if you are reading this, you are too good for this place. Find another place that suits your lovely and caring personality. Because this establishment does not care. The room we stayed in had a weird smell and the floor was gross. I kept my shoes on for the most part. The bathroom looked like it wanted to fall apart. The shower temperature kept changing on me. I hated it! The TV is so old and our remote control was falling apart. Not a lot of outlets to plug phones for charging. The beds seemed ok. Just ok enough to get a few hours of shut eye. The next day, when we came back to our room, the beds were even not done and we were only given new towels. Customer service ranged from sorta good to bad and somewhat ok. The good is some employees. Brenda helped me with the slot machine rewards card. The bad is the one manager behind the casino cage that hit the decline button on accident when my friend tried to get a $ 500 cash advance. She tried to play it off and tried to pass it off to him like he declined it. My friend saw her hit the decline button on her end! The best that they could do for him is a $ 20 bonus slot play. WOW! What a compensation! My friend was assed out of his $ 500 and all the best they could do is give him a $ 20 slot bonus. Super incompetence and no compassion at all. Their management and whoever is controlling this business is heading in the wrong direction. There is so much potential. Beautiful girls that could deal Poker and Craps… What a combo! However, no one wants to even try over there. How about bring in John Taffer to fix this place! The best part of this trip was leaving. Never will we stay here again. Las Vegas is much better without this place. I could go on and on about how bad this place is but I have better things to do.

I’m convinced that the«Redneckedness» of their brand was played up in the pitch meeting to have this hotel built. I can hear it now: «By playing up our redneck roots that gives us the perfect excuse to not repair and fix things properly, or remove stains from carpets, scrapes on wall., etc We’ll save millions!» This hotel is the epitome of low budget. No one I dealt with was pleasant to deal with and the low quality of the place just makes you feel dirty and pathetic. All I wanted was a bed to sleep in and the price was right, but the bed didn’t even have a comforter. It was a white sheet(at least the bedding was very clean). We asked for a blanket and they brought them right up. It served its purpose, but barely; I think they think that’s part of the redneck charm. It’s not.

This was not my first choice. We booked our weekend(Sat & Sun nights) online for NYNY but I screwed up and booked Sun & Mon and noticed in time to cancel, and changing to Sat & Sun was so much more expensive, and we had plans that would be keeping up pretty busy the whole time, so we decided to skimp on the hotel this time. My feeling is that it’s just a bed, so I can spend my time where ever i want, and crash out in the hotel, who cares if it’s not the best hotel? But, that’s not totally true. I do like a nice, high end hotel. This just was not the weekend to do that. Last time we were in Vegas in Sept, we stayed at the Delano Towers. Hooters is the polar opposite of The Delano Towers. The hotel is old, it’s decorated just like a Hooters restaurant. Lots of pine paneling, tacky orange and brown stuff everywhere. The hotel is the brick and mortar version of the Hooter Girls uniforms. Old school, tacky, cheap… yet fun. Our room was not anything special, but it was clean. It was old and the whole place needs a major overhaul, but it wasn’t like the worst place in the world. We spent some time at the Hooters bar on Sat night after getting in from the UNLV game, that was pretty fun. Trey was the bartender and kept us entertained. I am not sure if we will stay here again. It’s off the strip, but that is convenient for us since we have a fair amount of activities that involve visiting my bf’s daughter who is a UNLV rebel girl, so we go out to the football stadium, etc, so being off strip is actually better for us. It’s not that far from the strip, anyways.

This review is specifically for the HOTEL part of the property. This place doesn’t even come close to the 2.5 stars its rated on Priceline. Unfortunately we booked through PL so we had no recourse in the absolutely horrible experience we had here! For starters, we check in at about 2AM, yet still get charged for a resort fee which staff said was for the use of the pool(which was closed), parking(the garage was closed, we had to park in the Tropicana’s lot), wifi(slower than cell tower, if you can connect) and ‘other amenities’. I just drove 7+ hrs and wasn’t in the mood to argue so I signed off on it, knowing there wouldn’t be a hotel mgr there anyway. We get up to the room and upon opening the door, the room already had a funny smell. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels, some nice, some not and this was BYFAR the worst. M6’s in the middle of CA are better than this place. I walk into the bathroom and immediately I noticed the toilet was dirty as well as the vanity top/sink. The shower appeared clean but who knows… Once into the room we noticed it had once been flooded by a previous plumbing issue, obviously not properly repaired if the carpet was stained and peeling away from the wall. At least they repainted the drywall. There were enough stains on the carpet that the wife and I both didn’t feel comfortable not wearing shoes in the room, ALL the time. The fan, or lack thereof in the bathroom was ‘inconvenient’ to say the least when one needs to ‘take care of business’. The shower pressure was just ‘ok’. But what was REALLY annoying was the fact that the temperature would swing, from cold to hot, while using it. Talk about annoying! As soon as you’d get a good temp adjustment it would get cold, then you tough it out for a few seconds and it would get hot, then back to cold. Just an uncomfortable cycle. Try to adjust it at the wrong time and you’re jumping out of the water before it scalds you. We turned on the A/C since the room was stuffy and it emitted quite a noise, so we had to run it for a while before bed because there was no way one could sleep with it on. The sliding door to the outside, facing the pool area would not seal properly and let in excessive noise. This place is close to the airport so the noise was well above what would be considered ‘average’. We were on the fifth floor, so maybe that’s why they didn’t care that the door couldn’t be secured… I don’t know… but the door couldn’t be locked likely due to the fact that it wouldn’t even close properly to seal out noise and weather. At this point I’m surprised the TV works! The clock radio was old and turned out to be a disappointment. It had an ‘aux’ jack on it so you could use your i-pod or phone for music, I thought ‘that’s cool’! It had such a humming noise it was unusable. The lamps looked like they all came from different hotels in Vegas that had closed, not one of them matched and they were all falling apart(leaning, nearly inoperable switches, etc). If I haven’t painted the picture for you, I’m not sure how else I could. BOTTOMLINE: Don’t stay here. And I strongly suggest not booking the area in which this hotel is located on Priceline as you will be stuck, just as we were!

I came here to play over the Summer of 2015 and my friend and I had a blast! The dealers and pit boss were really nice. We decided to gamble here because they offer $ 5 Black Jack and $ 5 Craps. We played for hours. Came in at night and left after breakfast. Even though the dealers and pit boss were fun and nice, the Hooters girls were no so great, but oh well. I would never stay here, but I sure would play here!

Got a good rate by placing my bid on Priceline. I had read the reviews and some of them were not very nice but angry people tend to post more than people who had a good experience. I am the kind of person who brings disinfectant wipes to hotel rooms for remotes, tables, switches, etc., because every hotel has hidden germs I asked for a non-smoking room and it was actually pretty decent. The bed was comfortable and the view was okay and they have an ironing board and iron for my work shirt. The bathroom could use some updating and the bathroom floor needs to be cleaned better. Hooters décor is cheap wood like their bars. Casino is small but you are close to everything on the south strip.

I really like the Hooters Casino. We were staying at a property next door and I couldn’t resist the $ 3 Blackjack tables 24⁄7. One thing is that I had to wait 30 min for a seat at the table since they only have 1 table with 6 seats, but it was definitely worth it for $ 3 Blackjack. The $ 3 Blackjack is 6 decks and if you get a Blackjack, it pays 1.16 instead of the typical 1.5, but I’ll take that! The dealers that I encountered were all super nice. There was this one dealer who was like Flash Gordon and that’s a little difficult to stay on top of at 3 am. One thing I was disappointed in was the drink waitress coming around to all the tables at 3am. It appeared she only came around once every 30 minutes and she didn’t pay attention to what people ordered, so when she came to our table, she would call out what she had and people had to take their attention away from their cards and respond. It wasn’t until this guy got up from the table to get his own water and complained to the pit boss that the drink waitress began to come around every 5 minutes, which was then overkill, but it was better than what it was, so we all dealt with it.

I visited this hotel specifically for their signature restaurant. Personally, I would never think to stay at the hooters hotel mainly based on how it looks from the outside — not very inviting. I normally happen to like the wings from hooters but the wings served at this location were not the same. They tasted like they had been frozen too long or sitting to long. I have tasted better hooters brand wings from the frozen section in my neighborhood supermarket. I would never return to this restaurant location.
