What a disappointment!!! My boyfriend drove into town from Arizona and I drove in from California to see Elton John. 10 minutes after the show was suppose to begin and intercom announcement cancelled show because Elton John was ill. He didn’t know he was sick up until then??? What a joke! In the meantime Caesar charged customers $ 14 to $ 26 for alcohol and dress up pictures and memorabilia. There was no apology or explanation of how attendees would be compensated for the expense to sit in an empty coliseum. I am very upset and plan on getting reimbursement for expenses to attend.

Couldn’t Bruce it when they told us the concert was canceled. Bought expensive drinks and sat down. Right before Elton was to come out, CANCELED! Super disappointed on how it was handled. Really disappointed since we flew in just for the show. Not an email, nothing. Turn the cancel when his voice comes on now. Super bitter

Glad we saw this icon’s last performance of the season last night. What a pro. Voice and piano playing haven’t waned through the years! The only hint of his age was when he’d stand up and walk around the stage!

How disappointing to pay 1500.00, wait a month to see him, wait an hour in the theatre, only to have him cancel last minute with a full theatre! I’ve never had an artist do that! What a waste of not only my time, but everyone else in the theatre, especially those around us that had flown in just to see him! We asked the ticket agent if tgat happens often and she said no, but then another ticket agent at a different hotel tgat used to work there said yes. We saved the night by speeding over to house of blues to catch the great Carlos Santana, who made a speech about how appreciative he was of his fans and he wouldn’t be where he is without us. Maybe Elton John should take notes! #DIVA

Tonight’s show was cancelled AFTER Caesars let everyone into the theater, through concession stands, and into their seats. Show was supposed to start at 7:30; cancelled at 7:35. No apologies. No fill in performance. «Show is cancelled. Get out.» Wow. I can’t believe a major show cancellation could be handle so poorly.

There we were, having flown in from Denver just for this concert, 7:29(show starts at 7:30) enjoying our first adult beverage admiring the wonderful stage when someone comes over the PA system and announces Elton was sick and there would be no show tonight. If you paid by CC you would get an automatic refund. PERIOD. No, sorry. No — have a beer on us. No, show us your out of state license and we’ll give you $ 20 to go gamble. NOTHING! There is little doubt in my mind they knew this well before we had spend $ 70 on drinks and $ 100 on Elton John paraphernalia. But, hey why not get a little revenue before we tell them all the show was cancelled. Maybe, maybe not, but that’s certainly how it felt. Piss poor customer service.

Priceless!!! I have been wanting to see Elton John for some time now. I decided to surprise my wife for her birthday, and what a surprise. One of the best shows in Vegas. I was a little concerned at first because of some of the negative reviews, and tickets aren’t cheap. I made my decision to on Friday night, what a performance. This guy is a true performer, simply a class act. What a great variety of songs, I was on my feet in no time. I am so thankful to be part of such a stellar performance by a true musician. This was definitely the highlight of our Vegas weekend, WOW.

He canceled his Saturday concert at the last minute. They said he was sick but I heard he was just pissed. I guess he got booed on the Friday night concert after throwing his water glass four times. Last time I will try to go to one of his concerts. What’s prima Donna.

Saturday, January 30, 2016 the stage was set and Elton John was to go on stage at 7:30 pm for his concert. Caesars allowed the audience members into the venue to purchase drinks, buy memorabilia, and fill the audience in anticipation of what is said to be a remarkable concert. For those of us in the audience we never experienced the joy of an Elton John concert; instead we received a dreary voice over the loud speaker informing is that Elton was unable to preform due to illness. This was just prior to 7:40 pm, after the show should have began. Staff had paperwork to hand to audience members addressing how refunds for tickets purchased would be handled showing they knew the concert would be cancelled given the paperwork was dated. Employees claim they had no knowledge the concert would be cancelled but to print out that magnitude of paperwork knowledge would have been necessary. No apology was offered, no replacement concert was put on that night, nothing. This concert was my all my days off from work, my hard earned savings for travel and lodging expense, and the tickets were my birthday present. This is a birthday present I will never get to experience. When they announced the cancellation the audience sat in disbelief and frankly I am still in disbelief. I had been looking forward to this concert and it has been said he did not preform because of an argument and disagreement back stage, not due to illness. While I wish Elton the best it is shame I did not get to see him nor did the others in the audience that night. No compensation of any kind has been offered this far and I have filled a complaint with Caesars. I just wish there was a way to get this experience that was ripped from me back. I will update this if I ever hear back from Caesars or Elton John’s staff. Be warned you may plan a perfect weekend around seeing Elton John as I did and have the weekend derailed by a cancellation and leave Las Vegas in dismay and disbelief that you too did not get to see Elton preform.

VERY disappointed. Two years ago Elton cancelled the show with no notice while we were waiting outside of the theater. We had come to Vegas just to see him. TONIGHT, 1/30, while waiting in the Colloseum to see the show start, at 7:31pm he cancelled the show again. TWOTIMESNOW he has cancelled. I am about about 1K for two trips to Vegas to see him with no recourse except I get my money back for the tickets. Buyer beware. Here’s the thing, it wasn’t full tonight, and the last time he cancelled it appeared not to sell out too. I think he has a deal with Caesars about capacity and not having to perform. Caesars had no problem selling their 10 – 15 dollar drinks to all of us and then cancelled the show at the last minute. It borders on fraud. I will NEVER see another show at Caesars. As for Elton, taking your fans for granted will cost you many of them. People were very upset…

Third time seeing EJ in Vegas. I’m having withdrawal symptoms! Simply the best.

My first EJ concert was 42 years ago at the Nassau Coliseum, the night after John Lennon appeared at MSG with him. I fell in love with him that night and have been a fan ever since. For a rock star pushing 70, he still«has it». Amazing. Thank you Elton.

Wow!!! Elton John does not disappoint! This man is a true legend. Everything about this concert was top notch, what a show. The stage was so very Versace and the screen images coordinated with his music so it hit on both visual and sound. Elton John and his crew played so many of his hits along with a tribute to his dear friend, John Lennon. There was even a grainy clip of John Lennon walking on stage to play with Elton John back in the early 70s. The whole show was Elton John. His music, his life as projected on the screen in animation during«Yellow Brick Road», The elaborate stage to his amazing piano jams. With all these legends getting older it is everyone’s responsibility to see them before they are gone. It was such a great experience to see him before he left Vegas!

I am the luckiest man in the World! Lynn took me to see Elton John. After a really tough week for people who grew up on 70’s and 80’s music, losing David Bowie and Glenn Frey in the same week was really tough. I realized in the next 10 years either Elton or I may not be here. He was so great, he played my 2 favorites Your Song and Tiny Dancer, but so many other great songs(Levon, Crocodile Rock, and many more. I’m a happy guy! I highly recommend!

With all the British celebrities biting it in January 2016, I knew I had to take advantage of seeing Elton John when a recent opportunity presented itself. The guy’s closing in on 70 and he’s been touring for almost 50 years, but he’s still got it. Living legend status, for sure. I honestly could have left after the second song– not because everything was downhill from there but because he did my favorite song(Rocketman, duh) right after the opener. I’m not the hugest Elton fan and admittedly only recognized like every other song(Benny and the Jets, Crocodile Rock, Tiny Dancer), but the he’s still got the skills on piano and his voice is still strong. Interestingly, his band is comprised of guys he’s been performing with for like four decades, and they are all on point. But wow, that piano. It’s like an extension of Elton himself. I don’t know if it actually cost a million dollars, but it’s like a 3D video screen showing videos and pictures throughout the show. While the set itself didn’t really change, different videos and lighting were used to change it up for each number. The middle of the show kind of lags with a bunch of downers in a row, but things pick up with livelier songs toward the end. A note about seating: photo shows my seat number on the tickets. We were right up close to the stage on the floor, but on the right hand side of the stage. Would suggest trying to find seats toward the left if possible, so you can actually see his hands murdering the keys. But the sound is awesome and despite the large space, it feels fairly intimate.

I surprised my mommy with tickets for her and I to Elton John and we couldn’t have had a better time. The theater is beautiful and not a bad seat in the house! I had to purchase these tickets weeks in advance and I understood why when I realized that there wasn’t an empty seat anywhere. Elton is 68 years young and he played for 2 hours straight, no break! Absolutely incredible! His music is beautiful and he is a true artist. There is so much love and passion in every word that he sings. If you like and appreciate his music, this show is a must see.

Killer show. Sir Elton played all the hits, brought terrific energy, had a gorgeous stage set, kicked it up a notch with video screens embedded in the piano and on other stage pieces. Good or bad seats were entertained as he moved around the stage. The band was spectacular, especially the rhythm section. Good long show with a couple of encore songs. A phenomenal singer, pianist and entertainer. The old guy still brings it.

The Master showman was incredible. If you’re a Sir Elton John fan, you must see this show! Not only is the venue completely top shelf with amazing staging and lighting, but THEMAN and the band are in amazing form. The choice of songs really spanned his entire collection and my wife and I were pleased to hear his stories around so many of the songs. He had especially poignant stories related to John Lennon, the 911 concert and his recollections of the many everyday people HE considers heroes. Incredible. Such an incredible talent and very human and personal too. One thing that was so special was the sense you had from the very beginning of the show that these musicians truly love making music together and enjoyed their time with us, at least, and probably more than we did with them! A truly fantastic evening. I loved being here with my wife. What a memory. Thanks babe. The seats we had in the rear Orchestra area were great and the acoustics of the coliseum venue are some of the best I’ve experienced. Not sure how they design a venue to be large and yet intimate but this one is. The staff was friendly and helpful and finding our section and seats was a breeze. Thank you Sir Elton!

Sir Elton was simply amazing, from his opening number to show-stopping close! Two solid hours of everything you could possibly hope for as an Elton John fan, in a show perfectly produced for the Colleseum, complete with a stunning video backdrop. I’ve seen Elton five or six times over the past twenty years, and I can honestly say that this was one of the best. His voice is as crisp as ever and he took time in this show to explain the stories behind some of his hits. He performed a total of nineteen songs, opening with«The Bitch is Back» and closing with, «The Circle of Life», with pretty much all of your favorites in between. Not only is Elton incredible, but he’s accompanied by some of the best in the business, including Ray Cooper on percussion! If you get a chance to catch MDP, don’t miss it!
