Authentic Italian style pizza cooked and presented the way it should be done. I’ve had the Die Forni with homemade sausage(the best!), margherita and pepperoni. All were excellent. Service is prompt and efficient. If your favorite pizza is from Pizza Hut or Dominos, their pizza will be too good for you(sorry, no stuffed crusts, wings or cookies) and frankly that’s just fine. Also, try the Panino selection. Always good!

Sorry to all those that rave about this place, it was good but it wasn’t crave worthy by any means The crust was burnt, and the large was pretty much a small. We ordered extra sides of marinara and it was left out. Maybe I hit a bad night and will have to try again.

I can’t say enough great things about Due Forni. It’s a small but cool restaurant with bright orange colors & interesting lights hanging from the ceiling with old westerns playing on the tvs around you. The pizza is so delicious. They have 2 different ways of cooking the pizza — one that results in a chewier crust(Neopolitan) & another one that results in a crispy crust(Roman). I always stick with the Neopolitan Margherita pizza — the combination of the chewy crust, yummy sauce, fresh mozzarella cheese & fresh basil on top makes for the perfect pizza for me. I’ve gotten the lasagna a few times — it changes daily based on the chef’s liking & ingredients available. It’s always hot, fresh & fabulous. I also get the caesar salad on a regular basis which shouldn’t be so spectacular because let’s be real here… it’s a caesar salad BUT the fresh romaine, shaved parmigiano reggiano, herbed croutons, creamy garlic vinaigrette & some fresh ground pepper is so good. The fresh ingredients they use really make a difference. The drinks I’ve had so far are decent. They have a lot of different wines, beers, cocktails & each waiter/waitress is more than happy to suggest the perfect pairing for your meal. The desserts are fabulous — they change their bread pudding flavors & the gelato they pair it with regularly & they’ve never disappointed me. We’ve also had the cannolis which were very good. Make sure you get yourself a coffee drink before you leave as well! I get a cappuccino with dessert each time & it’s delicious. Not bitter whatsoever & perfect amount of foam. Check out groupon before going because there’s usually a deal. I actually just scored a $ 25 voucher for $ 12 — guess I know where I’m headed to dinner tonight!

At this point sort of a Summerlin«Classic,» the constant turnover at Red Rock and year-old Downtown seeing dozens of restaurants open since the wood-fired pizzeria first sprung onto the scene, those unfamiliar with the concept will find Due Forni’s dual ovens ready to greet patrons of all ages, the sort of place where serious diners can stop by the bar for charcuterie paired to a good glass while families simultaneously fill the corner booths for pizza as children pass the time playing with raw balls of dough. Half-Roman and Half-Neapolitan in front of the fire, a tiny kitchen yielding a surprisingly large number of antipasti, primi, secondi, and dolci from the rear, it was to attentive service that our party of three was treated throughout the course of the evening and offering to pair wines with the meal a small splash of each was accepted, the crisp white from Sartarelli pleasantly washing the palate between bites of cheese and cured meats while equally cutting through the piquant purée beneath creamy black Morcilla. Delighted to see an off-Strip chef attempting something as bold as blood sausage it was onward to antipasti that the meal marched on and opting to continue in a similar vein with two salads the only question was in which to invest the most appetite, the rolls of carpaccio wound loosely around nuts and mushrooms beneath a fragrant vinaigrette versus succulent slices of duck atop spinach that paired very nicely with a buttery Chardonnay. Told that Buscaglia’s pastas outperform what might be expected from a pizzeria tucked away in the ‘burbs course three featured demi-portions of three styles of noodles topped in compelling sauces alongside a cast-iron crock of Lasanga reformulated each day, and although the version served was a bit too heavy in peppers for myself the others seemed to enjoy it plenty, the creamy rings far more befitting my palate in a light broth tinged with cheese while the gnocchi offered soft nuggets beneath rich cream and bacon lightened by peas. Not particularly thrilled by Bucatini that came off starchy alongside shortrib that would have benefitted from a finer shred it was with lights from a nearby television flickering to my left that the second of two glasses of Red were brought forth, the hefty Barolo not particularly ideal in the setting of a springy Neapolitan covered in Fontina, Cremini Mushrooms, and Truffle Crema with a Baked Egg but far more appropriate when sipped between bites of crisp Mailale Roman enriched by pork and onions amidst bright tomatoes, not to mention a medium-rare cut of steak lent further complexity by brown butter and crumbled goat’s cheese. Light music chiming overhead as the restaurant filled up with the hour passed eight it was in a small glass of Carlo’s 30+ day«Hexxcello» that meal transitioned to sweets, and although capacity was certainly reaching a limit at this point there was simply no way to abstain from the light-as-air ricotta drizzled with honey, let alone the tiny trio of cannoli that riffed on apple pie complete with crushed pie crust or a cast iron pan filled with piping hot seasonal bread pudding from which I was remiss to leave bites behind. Taking more chances than most Italian places off — or even on — Las Vegas Boulevard despite the limitations of a kitchen smaller than that of most Summerlin homes, Due Forni remains a sort of ‘secret’ in the growing shadow of too many imports and chains.

The service was kinda shitty but my lady bubba has been here many times and said its never been bad so I give it a pass! Definitely recommend this place.

Had a Groupon and decided to check it out with my boyfriend last night for a later dinner(I wasn’t about to cook at 9PM). There were still several tables full of people even though it was getting close to closing time. We ordered the Due Forni pizza and the bread pudding. Service was super attentive and fast but I didn’t feel like we were being rushed at all. Our server answered all of our questions and our water glasses were never even half empty. Dessert was delicious as well. Great spot for a warm pizza on a cold night!!!

Overpriced, everything was fresh but lasagna was too salty and kinda like a thrown together mess. Mimosas were $ 9.00EACH! this is outrageous! We also got a pizza and it was good but nothing special to pay $ 75 for lunch. I wouldn’t return because i think they are overpriced but if you want a fancy pizza joint to spend lots of money at this is your spot.

When I pulled into the parking lot I thought, hmmm this looks particularly average. However, from the first steps into the joint I felt like this place has substance. The bar, stocked to the ceiling and interesting people seated all around. The host was professional, he took us to an outside table where the weather was perfect. We ordered the chefs special appetizer which was 5 star and a great Pino Noir the waiter suggested. I ordered ‘The special’ which included a rabbit dish with a wonderful broth, pasta that looked like baby ears, and tasty white beans. Different and yet perfect. What a great experience.

Ambiance… it’s mixed up so something for everyone. Darker on the BAR side than the dining room side(think dates or dining alone). Jazzy music playing throughout, maybe a bit too loudly, but it helps drown out the chatty diners & drinkers. There is a PATIO!!! Yay!!! Just a bit too hot today. Unless there’s a kids menu you can ask for, I can’t imagine many KIDS would enjoy this place… pizza maybe, but they looked pretty fancy-pants. Maybe call ahead & ask if that’s your situation. drinks — tons of WINE choices, few were recognizable to me, so I need to study up. Prices range from $ 6-$ 17/glass. I had a $ 6.95 red blend(that hubs abandoned) and it was perfectly fine. The prosecco is sweet…& really the only sweet wine on the menu. Ditto on the BEERS(not the sweetness part). Only corona light was a familiar sip. An unusually high assortment of APERITIFS&2 tawny ports(a 10& a 20 year old). They were out of the 10 yr port so I tried the amaro modernegro(I think I got it right). It was citrusy smooth with a flippy finish that didn’t linger too long. I’d order again. FOOD — panzanella SALAD doesn’t look like much, but it’s awesome! Just enough dressing to flavor the tender arugula & not drench the crazy crispy bread. The Caesar salad was«good» per hubs. When I asked him if he’d order again, «maybe» was all I could get. I didn’t taste it so take it for what you will. The GNOCCHI is to-die-for! We both agreed on that! Gnocchi is a nice consistency… not pillowy dough like you sometimes get. More along the lines of pasta consistency & skinny. So if you’re looking for the doughy, yeasty, clumpettes you usually get, adjust your expectations & you’ll enjoy. The LASAGNA is fancy-pants. Tonight’s selection was braised buffalo. Another«good» from the food«critic». Really he prefers home style, chunky, cheesy, slathered in sauce layered between over-cooked noodles so what showed up in its cute little cast iron dish really wasn’t what he was expecting so it was an uphill battle from there. I can tell you though… he cleaned his plate! Desserts weren’t all that enticing to me. We split the bread pudding. Got an «ok» from the food«critic». I’m not a bread pudding fan, so 2 bites was more than plenty for me and I’m probably not a qualified bread pusding judge. If you like bread with your meal, it can be ordered… but it’s not on the menu. Service — Sergio was a gracious server… even when the«critic» ordered a $ 6 glass of wine after asking for a recommendation. And then shockingly didn’t care for it & drank my prosecco. Overall, a little more«work» in deciding what to eat & drink. But we’ll definitely be back. Only 4 stars because the«critic» didn’t enjoy it as much as me, bread wasn’t offered, desert was average & the loud-ish music. Maybe we can up it to 5 next time.

Tonight was an «A» for Auspicious evening! A is for Attentive. The service from seating, to water pour, to food preparation and presentation was excellent. Thank you Luis for your extra care for us and our children. A is Accommodating. With no French fries on the menu, we ordered a side of roasted purple potatoes and baby carrots for $ 7. The children devoured them and proudly stated the potatoes are yummy. I also Appreciate the penne served plain with olive oil(penne Bolognese minus the sauce). We ordered a side of BASIL pesto and voila, happy children. A is for Affable. The environment was friendly including the other guests. And A is for Ample. The delicious cuisine, more than enough to keep us satisfied for this Awesome Monday dinner. Wish List: Add a changing table to restroom. Add organic items to the menu including potatoes, lettuce, pasta, crust, meatballs, cheese. Grazie!

We popped in for dinner one night after the gym. It’s located in south Summerlin off of town center, across from the gardens park. The restaurant itself has a great feel. It’s pretty casual and comfortable. The music… Well that needs some help… Really weird melodies playing on a Monday night:/ We were greeted at the door by a very friendly and well dressed older man. I’m assuming he is the manager. He held the door and sat us promptly. We opted for patio seating and I was so glad we did! The patio is covered with fans to help keep it cool. The seating was comfortable and the tables were sturdy. Our server was nice. He told us about the menu and went over the beers and wines. I ordered a red blend, nothing fancy… Still tasty though. My boyfriend and I opted to split the beet salad(made vegan) and the veggie gluten free pizza(also prepared vegan). I’m not one to complain… But… $ 4.95 extra to prepare a small 8inch pizza gluten free is just a tad bit pushing my limits. Our pizza was around 23.00 dollars after tax. It was pretty delicious though. I would order it again… When I want to splurge on pizza. The veggies were fresh And the dough was not overly spongey or crisp. We did mention sharing the beet salad… And they split it for is on two plates(nice gesture) ;) It was really good. One of my favorite beet salads thus far… The pistachios added a great crunch. Our friend ordered a chicken Caesar salad. It was a pretty standard portion… Not very difficult to mess up… He said it was good. The server gave us our bill without an itemized(something I really despise). I like to look over everything on the tab. I can not tell you how many times I’ve been over charged, under charged, didn’t receive add Ins I was charged for, and auto grated on tabs I would of really just never questioned without the itemized. If I could knock half of a star for this… I would. Overall, it was a good experience and we will definitely be back.

This is the type of place that you go to on a romantic date to enjoy a sampler platter of delicious gourmet foods. Do not expect to get full as the pizzas and sides are very small portions, and the prices are on the high side. It’s all about the impeccable service, the romantic ambiance and the presentation of carefully selected high quality ingredients. The restaurant atmosphere is upscale and classy with a hint of coziness. I came here after a leg surgery on crutches and the wait staff were beyond helpful to accommodate me with a special table. Unique starter dishes such as pork belly and octopus, also a mozzarella bar and the wine selection is fantastic!

Was in Vegas for work with my colleagues and we had a group dinner here. The place was nice and hip with great lighting and an awesome vibe. The waiter was a patient kind person, we had about 12 people that couldn’t make up their mind on drinks and asked the same questions over and over again and he answered the questions over and over again. We ordered some appetizers since it was happy hour and they were all good. Some of my colleagues ordered the pizza and it was crispy, thin and full of flavor. Here are the dishes I tried: Mozzarella Bar with sliced prosciutto, artichoke hearts, creamy mozzarella with their soft chewy bread. It was really good. However, since I was sharing the dish, the prosciutto was hard to pull apart, it looked like it was just one big slice of cured meat. However it was really good. Polipo(octopus) salad, the octopus was tender and moist. I would have been happy to have this as my main dish. One of my co-workers said that if she knew it was octopus, she wouldn’t have tried it. So since she didn’t know she said it tasted like perfectly cooked chicken. Piccante(sopressata) pizza it was completely filled with lots of thinly sliced sopressata(salami) so it was a little too salty for me. Even though it had some thinly sliced bell peppers, it still did not kill the saltiness. So once slice was enough for my blood pressure. Polpette(meatballs) appetizer. It was flavorful and tasty, a definite must try with their delicious well seasoned marinara sauce. Margherita pizza was good. Nothing special that you can’t get at another New York style pizza place. I rather use the $$ for another order of the Polpette(unless you are a vegetarian). Tartufo pizza was very interesting. It had mushrooms and egg. All I can say is that it was interesting. If I had to get this as my entrée, I would have regretted it. Overall, I enjoyed the meal and being with my colleagues. I will definitely take my family here.
