If I could give a zero I would —
She prescribed some high price hybrid contacts — that dried to my eyes not once but for times. And I have worn contacts for 30 years!,
Instead of saying these aren’t right — it was try again. The final time her assistant had to hold my head down while she pulled the contact out with metal forceps. How is this normal.
Now I ave asked for my money back and medical records — it’s been 90 days. How is this normal.

Place rocks!!! They make us feel like family. Doctor is very thorough and friendly. When it comes to fit and finish on glasses. Nobody beats Ernest. Thank you guys

The most beautiful and well equipped eye are office I have ever flippin been in. I was like a kid in a candy store. I bought seven pairs of glasses and I look fabulous. I just was trying them all on for my family and they lived them. My favorite pairs are Dita and Bentley eyeglass collection.

I have been going to see Dr. Youssef since I moved to Las Vegas in 2007. I broke my glasses during my move here from Maryland. As it was time to have a eye exam anyway and my glasses where shot, I found her office location online and got an appointment right away. My experience here was so good I have never wanted to go anywhere else. I got in to see Dr Youssef right away. She got me into contact lenses, which I have always wanted to wear but have never been able to because they always made me dizzy. I guess maybe I was given the wrong prescription or kind by my old optometrist because I got used to them almost immediately. I have been able to wear contacts ever since. Now I can decide whether I want to wear my stylish glasses I picked out last month in her optical, or if I’m in the mood to show off my eyes with contacts. I have been going here for close to 8 years and would recommend her to anyone. Dr Youssef is the best.

Dr. Youssef had me wait for 3 hours because she was getting her weave done. She apologized profusely, explaining with a chuckle, rather capriciously, that she had a weave emergency. She didn’t seem very remorseful, and I imagine this cavalier attitude towards other people’s time was what one disgruntled technician was divulging during our chat while I was waiting. The tech was quitting that day because Youssef had neglected to pay her employees for a week. I didn’t want to dive into her office drama, but I opted to cut my losses and find another optician. The only thing worse than a doctor who fancies their vanity more than their patients is an underpaid and disgruntled staff, who might not be as motivated to find your chart or answer the phone when it’s been two months and your contact lenses still haven’t arrived.

The staff is nice enough and the technician that works there seem to know a lot more than what he’s qualified to! He did about 80−85% of the initial exam. The wait times however are ridiculous. There must be some miscommunication between the staff and the doctor or the doctor does not check her appointments. Not sure, but I spent about 2−½ hours in the office and about 10 minutes with Dr. Youssef during my first visit for contacts and glasses. The office, although quite beautiful, all around seems disorganized.
After the staff fitted me for lenses they set me up for a follow up in a week. I came as told and found the office closed, called the next day and was told the optometrist was on vacation for another week. I came back for another contact fitting two weeks after my first appointment and they couldn’t find my appointment anywhere. I had to wait till they had time to squeeze me in. Came back for my next appointment and the doctor and receptionist that booked me were both gone. I even called 15 minutes before arriving to confirm. I did inform them of my dissatisfaction to no resolution.
I came the next day, after 50 minutes in the office, and realizing they didn’t have the lenses I needed, I was told they would be ordered and I’d get a call in less than a week. A week later, I find from the staff the lenses hadn’t even been ordered.
The times I did spend with the optometrist were alright though. If her appointment times were honored, the wait times not ridiculous, and she had tested that each trial of contact actually worked right after the recommendation I would not have had a problem. However, this was not the case and after much thought and lost time I had to switch and start over with a new doctor. I never received a refund even though I did not receive a prescription which was alright because my insurance was understanding and should hopefully cover a new exam.
Perhaps if her office fixed the scheduling issues and she checked that her recommendations worked, then the office may not be a bad choice for someone.

So personable and incredibly good at what she does. Dr. Youssef’s office is vey modern and she is up on the latest technology in eye care. My kids and I have been regular customers for years. Although Dr Youssef is quite professional when we go for our visits its like visiting family. Please go see her if you’re in need of a caring eye care professional
