Shel has been taking care of my hair for a long time and she is wonderful! I always leave with my hair looking absolutely fantastic. Plus she is very friendly and knows everything there is to know about hair!

Great place, Nicole understood exactly what I wanted. I had my hair cut and dyed and I have to say I love it and I will definitely come back!

I also used a Groupon yesterday for a shellac manicure. Kathy was right on time and what an enjoyable hour I had with her!
Very nice, fun & personable lady!
Oh and she did an excellent job!!!

I’m giving this place a 2 only for the fact that the staff was super friendly.
That’s where the positive experience ended. My appointment was set for 2pm, so I arrived at 1:50. The nail lady was busy talking to other visitors and finishing the appointment ahead of me, making my appointment start 20 minutes after I had been in there!
I purchased a groupon for a shellac and the variety of colors was all of 15, in shades of pink, orange, and red. How disappointing.
After sitting roughly 45mins for the manicure she finishes and was about to send me on my way with two major lumps in the polish. I’ve had several shallac manicures and never seen someone manage to leave visible bumps in the polish. Ugh!
after pointing them out she removes the shellac and redoes the two nails and at this point my irritation level is through the rough.
60 mins later she’s finished… I looked at them and she had painted my cuticles, the skin around each finger, and even sealed the tips of my thumb to the skin.
HORRIBLE MANICURE!!! I left her a $ 4 tip and went on my way. I’m so bummed I waited all this time to get an appointment and today I’m removing the shellac its so poorly done.

I found Stylmup on Groupon and went in for a cut and all over color. I was not just getting a trim. I have had long hair forever and needed to start fresh.
I had Ashlie cut my hair to about chin length and then dye it a couple shades darker than my natural color.
Everybody at the salon was welcoming, positive, and friendly. Ashlie listened well to my wants and concerns and gave discerning and helpful feedback. My hair looks lovely and I had a great time while I was there.
It also didn’t break the bank! Woo!
I would definitely encourage others to check this place out.

So lucky to have found Susan again! One of the few people I would really call a true stylist! She listens, cares, advises and really works with you to achieve the cut, style and color you truly want. Every time I walk out from seeing Susan, I feel like a billion bucks and immediately get compliments in the new ‘look’. Thank you Susan!

I, too, found this salon through Groupon. I live up near Beaver Creek, but always look for a deal «down the hill» when I need a cut or highlights.
I had Susan do the cut and partial highlights. wow! She did an awesome job, didn’t take hours and hours, and the price couldn’t be beat.
When I got back home, I got tons of compliments, and one woman even took photos of my cut with her phone!
I’ve got a new stylist. no more searching. Thanks, Susan!

I stumbled across this place through purchasing a Groupon. Susan wasn’t originally the stylist I was supposed to see but she stepped up and volunteered to do my hair when I had a scheduling conflict with the original stylist. I am so happy that happened because she did a great job! I just went back to her for the second time and again, my hair looks fantastic. And her prices are so reasonable. After being in Denver for 6 years and trying every over priced salon downtown, Susan at Stylmup is my permanent girl.

Is this a chic, hip salon? Not from the looks of things when you first walk in from the rundown parking lot in front of this strip mall (hence not a fifth star). But oh how it gets better! Nichole was fast, efficient, friendly, and freakin knew how to do hair. She got me to exactly the hair color I wanted, the haircut was flattering and easy to work with at home, and she even offered wine. Best part? Very reasonable pricing! I will definitely be back again.
