Always great food and good service. I love the chicken chimi or Mexican hamburger. My wife lusts for the carne asada burrito. Breakfast burritos are phenomenal as well. This is a nice family owned place with fair prices and consistently great food.

All the good reviews are true to our experience. Been going there for years and always happy with food and friendly service. I especially like the meaty tamales which are hand made on premises and the green chili. Usually prompt service and really good prices. Kind of a Saturday afternoon tradition for several folks we see there frequently. Give it a try!

I love this place! I’m surprised it doesn’t have 5 stars across the board. I live right across the street and frequent Señor Burritos and the service is always fast(even when they are busy) and the food is always delicious with reasonable prices! I am a huge fan of their breakfast burritos and the deluxe smothered burritos. Great atmosphere and great prices. You have to try out this Gem!

I did a takeout order for some clients who worked nearby, and frequent this place weekly. It’s decent, quick Mexican food at a fair price. The green chili was pretty good. The service was a bit lacking. The owner, who took my order on the phone and dealt with me when I arrived, seemed put-out and short with me in both occurrences. The order wasn’t ready when I arrived. He claimed it was so it wouldn’t get soggy, but it wasn’t even started. His poor attitude wasn’t overtly rude, but it definitely noticeable. He was very friendly with a regular customer picking up his order ahead of me, so I’m not sure what that was about. That’s the only negative about this place.

When you get home and have no desire to cook, cheap Mexican food almost always comes to mind. The hubs and I live within walking distance of Señor Burrito and had passed it many times. We went in and thought you ordered at the counter and then found a seat. If you are eating in you actually sit down and get table service. The chips and salsa were good with a nice hit of heat at the back end. I ordered the huevos rancheros with corn tortillas and a side of guacamole. They forgot the guacamole which was fine in the end — I was stuffed. Everything was good standard fare except the rice which was crunchy and past its prime. The hubs got a chicken enchilada plate which he also very much enjoyed. We’ve found our quick, local and cheap Mexican food.

I walked over here for lunch when I was getting my oil changed. It was pretty good. I got a smothered carne asada burrito. It wasn’t the most amazing burrito i’ve ever had, but it wasn’t bad at all. Lunch was busy, and they only had one server, so that sort of sucked. However, the staff was very friendly. I will probably go back the next time I get my oil changed at Lube and Latte.

Great food. I ordered the beef fajitas and it tasted great. The service was great. She was very friendly. My only complaint is the building needs some TLC but that’s not a deal breaker for me. I would come here again. PS. I over heard a lady giving big codos to the owner in regards to a party that had been catered by Senior Burritos.

Best smothered burrito I have ever had the pleasure of eating. There was just the right amount of chili; not too much, definitely not too little. The carne asada was the perfect tenderness that didn’t leave you chewing too long. A must have if you’re in the mood for some great local Mexican food!

I went here today to check this place out and I must say it is really good! I normally like Crispy rellenos but even though these were soft they had a really nice flavor to them. The chips and the taco shells are super good! But what makes this place great is the service. This is a small place but when I went in today at 1p. m the dining room was full and just one lady was working and she was on top of every thing and always had a smile on her face :) I would definitely stop here again if for nothing else but for the service :) Thanks for making my lunch experience a great one!

I can’t believe that anyone would give Señor Burritos less than 4 star! s! My husband and I have been eating there for years and have always thought it was great. My husband says the it is the best chili relleno that he has ever had. I love their beef and bean burrito, and their carnitas. The staff is also very friendly!

Don’t believe the one star reviews. Our family has been dining at Señor Burrito for years and everything we ordered has been great and affordable. The staff is very friendly and efficient. They treat everyone that comes in as family.

Yuck! My husband and I ordered out from here and when we got home we were very disappointed! The rice was hard, the beans had a burnt taste and the meat was spoiled! I wouldn’t give this food to my dog! Do not go here!!!

This restaurant is terrible. Food is expensive for what you get. I ordered the carne asada burrito and it was tiny. Taste of food? Taco bell is better. Save your money and do not go here… Even Viva Burrito is a lot better.

Its sad that there are not more reviews of this place. But it is Lakewood after all. I’m not sure the Internet tubes reach this area. Señor Burritos is in a classic Taco Bell building which in and of itself is worth mentioning. Primarily because I think building codes require Chinese restaurants to occupy these buildings. So this is by far the best Mexican food this building has ever seen. The food is a solid A with good green chili and good service. Always bustling for lunch and dinner the single waitress, who has been working there since it WAS a taco bell, is amazing and knows everyone by name. Certainly worth the stop.

This place is a great source of affordable and tasty Mexican food on the west side of town. I like the tamales – smothered in green chile, of course – the best. This place is lacking in ambience(has none, really), but if you don’t mind sitting on dinette-style chairs, you can have some great food at a great price! This restaurant does a lot of take-out business – during the course of sitting there eating my tamales, I usally see 10 – 12 folks come in to pick up their take-out orders. Give Señor Burritos a try when you have a craving for Mexican food.

Three words can easily sum up this far below average burrito joint: «very dirty food.» Imagine taking a handful of raw ground beef, throwing it into a pot of water, and pouring some red wine on top. That’s basically what was looking back at me from the toilet bowl after the sausage breakfast burrito tore through my digestive system like a spiked wrecking ball. If you feel like paying too much for dirty mexican food and clutching your stomach for the next 5 – 35 hours, then by all means, go to Señor Burritos. Otherwise, I would recommend steering well clear of this place forever. Just ask yourself this: «do I want diarrhea for the next few days?» If your answer is no, simply do not go to Señor Burritos and you are taking a crucial first step in the right direction. The right direction, of course, being away from the painful and frequent diarrhea caused by the food at Señor Burritos. Frankly, I cannot believe this place has not been shut down by the BBB or CDC. No matter which way you slice it, Señor Burritos is gross, gross, gross. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

The family that runs this restaurant are great people. I started going to this Señor Burrito in the 90s and ate there at least once every week for many years. I can honestly say I was never disappointed. To have that kind of quality control means that someone really, really cares about making sure their restaurant is making good food. And their wait staff works the same way — they care about making your meal a pleasant experience. This place is not fancy or complicated. You get choices of all the basic Mexican dishes we know and love. But here they put just a little more care into how things taste. The guac actually tastes like avocados and is a good balance of chunky and smooth. Their salsa is some of the best in Denver — it’s fresh, tangy, full of tomatoes and chiles, and has just enough heat. One the best, simple lunches I get is a guacamole tostada with refried bean, then smother it in the salsa. Their veggie burrito has fresh veggies — smother it with their piquant red sauce, then add some guac and the salsa and the flavors are divine. The prices are so low it’s silly — but I think that’s another way that this family takes care of their customers.
