Food was pretty good. My husband enjoyed the hard shell tacos and the shrimp in garlic sauce was tasty — just missing 1 shrimp. Good setting inside and out if you can get an outdoor table. He likes it so we will go again.

Yay! This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant in the Denver area. Reminds me of my favorite Mexican spot where I ate growing up as a kid in Southern California. Woo hoo! I ordered the chicken enchiladas with tomatillo verde sauce. The chicken was shredded and so juicy. The verde sauce was tangy, fresh and flavorful! The rice and beans were spot on, and I’m very picky about my refried beans. They were the perfect consistency… not too sloppy and not too thick. Even the diced tomatoes and lettuce on the side of the enchiladas were very fresh. My only complaint is about the chips. They weren’t great… tasted like they came out of a store bought bag. But everything else was absolutely perfect! I will definitely be coming back here on a regular basis.

All-around excellent family-owned Mexican food restaurant. Having grown up around some pretty awesome Mexican food, I usually find Denver’s choices to be somewhat lacking. Most Mexican places here all taste the same. Las Dalias stands out above the crowd. The meats are well seasoned and well prepared. The vegetables are fresh. The green chili is dynamite, and when they say, «Hot,» they actually mean it(unlike most other local places). Even their salsa has a pretty nice kick to it. Additionally, carne asada isn’t very common in Denver, but not only does Las Dalias have it, but they do it well. It’s tender and flavorful(rather than the dry stuff I’ve had elsewhere around town). Not only is the food here great, but the margaritas are potent, and the staff is friendly and inviting. We’ve never been treated poorly. Even when it’s obvious that they’re having a rough day, they still offer a smile and friendly service. Since the first time we came here(about a year and a half ago), we’ve been coming back at least once a week. They have never disappointed.

I’m nothing if not a man of my word. I said on my initial review that Las Dalias was«pretty close» to four stars and made three suggestions that would get them there. Well, they’ve addressed two of the three — close enough — Las Dalias really is a legitimate four stars. We went on Cinco de Mayo and they were very busy. Still, our service was outstanding. And very friendly — they make you feel like valued guests. The food was served piping hot and was delicious. They have three levels of heat on their green chili — if you don’t like spicy hot, go with the mild because the medium still has a nice bite. But alas, I still have one bone of contention — charging for refills on chips and salsa. It t was chintzy when I wrote my initial review, it’s still chintzy, it will always be chintzy. Saving 25 cents worth of product just isn’t worth irritating a grumpy old guy like me.

Authentic restaurant. Every seat is filled at peak eating hours for a good reason. Family operated. Décor brings us back to PV. Kids menu keeps less adventurous eaters at bay while the rest of us feast on the large, delicious plates. Excellent rellenos, green chile, steak dishes, shrimp and traditional offerings. A patio serves additional diners out front. The strip center is perpendicular to Jewell, just west of the king soopers at wadsworth and jewell. Not to be missed for those craving more flavor on the west side.

I’m giving it 2 stars because the staff is very good. We were seated promptly with chips and salsa(the salsa has a good kick so if you don’t like spicy don’t eat this). We missed the lunch specials that were placed at the inside end of both. Ordered queso and should’ve read other reviews first. Queso is DEFINITELY watered down velveeta. But then what’s not watered down here? The refried beans definitely were. Pretty sure rice was Uncle Bens instant rice. The tacos had very little to no flavor. Good thing there was salt at the table and I’m not one to add salt. I even poured the watered down velveeta on my tacos just to have some flavor. But again the staff was very good! Very prompt and caring. Not their fault the food is no bueno.

This is a fun Mexican restaurant to eat at that is close to our house. They have awesome lunch specials and their cheese enchiladas are delicious! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. It is very small, that usually busy without a wait! I love going in the summer and sitting on their patio. It is a nice, family owned restaurant in Lakewood.

Some of the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had in my life. Not exaggerating, possibly some of the worst food of any cuisine I’ve had in my life. Came here on a recommendation from family members, whom I am now convinced are losing it. Staff was bored and aloof, confused by our simple order, and didn’t seem too happy to be working. The food was awful. Their queso dip is obviously watered-down Velveeta, which came out lukewarm and congealed within 5 minutes of being delivered to the table. Chips were cold and obviously out of a bag, but tasted as if the bag had been opened a week ago and never closed again. My meal made Mexican Night at the dorms look like a Michelin-star restaurant. Cold, goopy cheese, with soggy tortillas, hardened and congealed beans, and brown lettuce. The rice was crunchy and either undercooked or had been made in bulk and reheated all weekend. I try and find a positive about any meal I have, but the only one I can come up with about this place is knowing to never come back.

HOT green Chili and friendly staff. Las Delias is a nice Mexican restaurant that has good food and drinks. But, the star of the show is the hot green chili. Please don’t order it assuming I have a weak mouth, I eat tons of hot food and this stuff is the real deal hotness. I am by no means saying it’s the best in town but its good and it is definitely hot. Don’t worry you weak mouthed Mexican food lovers, they also have medium and mild green chilis as well. The carne asada is pretty good and their breakfast burritos and filling. they have a full service bar and colorful tables which, any person that is not color blind could appreciate.

Excellent food and service! They are also reasonably priced. You will not go wrong coming here. Their food is spicy but very tasty. This place is Lakewoods hidden gem.

Yum! I’m a sucker for street tacos and I was impressed with the ones I got here. I got tacos al carbon and the meat was so flavorful. It was served with a generous helping of guacamole. The salsa and chips to start the meal were fresh and delcious also! This reminds me of the Mexcian food from Southern California. More focused on red salsa than the green chili that Colorado Mexican food seems to rely on. The staff was great and the place was clean. I’ll be back!

Again… another sad experience with Mexican food in Denver :(. I am not sure why this place got great reviews either. I ordered their queso dip and it had to have been made out of Velveeta cheese. It was horrible. However, the main dishes were not bad… not great… but OK. You could smell the liquor in my mom’s margarita from across the table… which, in my opinion, is a positive but it depends on who you talk to. My mom is not huge on heavy liquor drinks so she wasn’t quite as happy as I would have been. The staff was attentive enough, but they could definitely work on their service skills; very short to the point of rude. All in all… the food was OK and better than a couple of other Mexican restaurants I have been to so far… but that isn’t saying much. Do NOT order their queso dip.

I wanted to try something different & break away from my normal spot to test the waters. We were quickly seated & our drink orders taken. The restaurant itself is smaller than most and decorated very similar to Tequilas. The chips & salsa were good & we decided on our main course. We had the combination plate with beef enchilada, chili relleno & tostada. We also ordered tacos de alambre & tacos al carbon. The combination plate was good but there was a definite cinnamon taste in the red sauce that kind of spoiled it for me. And what is the deal with restaurants throwing your tostada or crispy taco, which is messy enough, right into the sauce of everything on your combination plate and creating a soggy mess out of them. The tacos alambre were very good, different than your normal street taco. The tacos al carbon lacked flavor but were good. Towards the end of our meal the restaurant started to get pretty crowded & service started to suffer a little. All in all, a good visit but I’ll stick with my regular spot.

Stopped in for lunch. The place is cute and small, staff is friendly and attentive. My problem is with their pricing. I ordered 12 tacos, and when I looked at the menu, I thought I read $ 9.50. When I paid I was charged $ 22.50 and told they don’t list the price for the 12 tacos, and was basically given a «tough luck» look. Won’t be back.

Tried this place again last night for something fairly quick to take home on my way home from work that didn’t involve a drive thru. Ordered a beef chimichanga smothered in HOT green chile, after not knowing last time that I could get spicier green chile. It was super spicy, but not so flavorful… Perhaps«medium» is the happy zone here? The meal was okay, but not anything I would crave and come only to this restaurant for. Again, the service was top-notch, and my meal was prepared quickly. Their beans are tasty, but I’m not a fan on the spanish rice with veggies in it. Overall, the food is good, but doesn’t make my list of Mexican favorites.
