We saw all of the amazing reviews for John on Unilocal.Gave him a call and he was very professional. We loved how he used text to communicate with us and also to give us our bid. He was able to accommodate our «need it ASAP» situation. We are selling the house so wanted to clean it up but not spend too much and he was the most reasonable in north county. He did such a great job and it made such a difference we had him come back THE VERY NEXT day and spread more mulch. Great guy and really really knows what he is doing. His attention to detail was top notch. Highly recommend John!!! Can’t say enough about him!!!

I had a hard time estimating how much mulch I wood need to cover my hillside and John was so helpful. While on the phone, he looked up my address on google and was able to see a photo of my property and helped advise me on the amount needed. We scheduled a drop off day and time. He showed up on time and dropped off 4 truck loads within a few hours. He worked quick and was super friendly. Great service and gave me the price he promised. That’s great business!

After consulting with an arborist, we determined that the best thing we could do for our trees was to lay down some mulch to help battle the drought here in San Diego. I have a big yard and needed a lot of mulch. John has been great and has made 4 deliveries to my home. To do that on my own in my pickup would have taken months, and I probably would have abandoned the project without the services and groundcover products of San Diego Mulch. Many operators will try to just dump of their products at the curb. John worked really hard to drop the product as close as possible to my work area, saving me even more time. I truly believe that mulch is very beneficial to gardens, helping the plants to thrive with nutrients as the mulch breaks down, and saving money on water by minimizing evaporation. I would not hesitate to recommend John.

Delivered next day! Great price for orchard mulch. Looks amazing and smells good. Bought 13cy. Covered about 2000 sq ft so far, got lots more to use.

P. S. Pricing is competitive and I like the fact they deliver the material and offer to spread it for you at a very reasonable cost. Makes it a lot easier on the homeowner – in and out in under three hours.

Great customer service! John was responsive and punctual. He let me know when he was on his way and helped choose which mulch would work best for our yard and needs. He did a great job laying the mulch and cleaned up afterward. Would definitely recommend him and use him again.

We just listed our home for sale and had to work very quickly to have everything ready for the photographers in 2 days. John was tremendously helpful recommending options and most importantly, fitting our job into his busy schedule.
He arrived on time late in the day with a crew that worked non-​stop to finish before dark. If all of this was not impressive enough, I was surprised and delighted to see John walking every inch of our yard to inspect the work they did as well as the clean up. When they left, there was not one trace of bark In the street or on the sidewalk.

Very impressed! Great price and great service. I don’t think I will ever have to worry about getting mulch and spreading it again. John was great! I called him yesterday and he delivered today. I called all over the place for 3 cubic yards of mulch, plus delivery. John had the best price for the mulch, delivery and installation! We will definitely call him again.
