This location isn’t to bad. But some prices aren’t really competitive with other retailers. I only go here to buy imported beer from Europe that you can only buy at few selected stores in the Chicago land area. But my domestic beer I buy at grocery stores since you get better sales elsewhere on that.

Huge craft beer enthusiast. Regular at this location, here once or twice a week. Nice, large selection compared to the mom and pop liquor stores in the area. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. For beer questions or recommendations, ask for Tom, Scott, or Matt, they are good dudes who know their beer. Fair prices and allocations. Every once in awhile they do beer tastings which are fun, though wish they would do more often.

Haven’t been here enough for 5 stars. They seem to have a decent selection, and while they don’t carry my favorite rum, Flor De Cana, in stock, the guy was incredibly helpful and found that they can order it.

Love this store, they have everything you need. When they first opened their beers prices were high but since then the are now comparable to local grocery stores. Wish the beer cooler was a little larger though

Order a $ 190 bottle and there is no packaging, when item shown on website shows it is packaged. All the info I read online comes with a nice box. Yes it’s at a $ 10 off but it looks cheap when they brought item out with full of finger prints. Really felt like bought some tester bottle or something that fell off the truck, I may have spend less than their avg customer. I have order stuff from Bloomington branch and experience great this disappoints me.

Was just in store talking to an assistant manager, when an employee sadly hurt himself when a bottle dropped and exploded into his face. The assistant manager sprung into action and ran over to aid the employee. It was nice to see a manager immediately drop our conversation to run to the employees aid. Great Job sir! Merry Christmas to all Binny’s employees! :).

Great selection, great staff. Huge selection of craft beer, Bourbon, Scotch and pretty much everything thing else. I don’t really drink wine but half the store is wine and they have guys full time just working wine so it seems solid on that end. I mostly just go for the beer selection though. They have a walk in humidor too.

The only thing keeping this location from a 5 star review is the Rand road location that turns into a crawling parking lot during frequent peak hours. Otherwise parking is plentiful and it is close to some serious competition like Costco if they’ve got it. We’ve received excellent help whenever we have been seeking some local bottle of wine for some cuisine we’ve never had and have never been disappointed. Enormous Craft beer selection and I thought the Tequila selection was surprisingly good. Sale prices are excellent, be sure and join their«club» to get the sale prices, just watch those peak times on Rand Road.

Lighting sucks here. Worse lighting in any retail store ever. I need to see my booze and labels in great white light, not backyard-like bug zapper light. I’ll simply buy my $ 200 Macallan at Binny’s Skokie!

Great beer selection. Amazing how much the beer selection has fluctuated the past 3 years or so. Always something new and staff are helpful.

I like Whiskey. I like tequila. They have whiskey. They have tequila. The guys in there are always spot on with their recommendations. When no Binny’s stocked a specific whiskey I wanted. I put in a request and a week later, they told me a case had been ordered and I could pick up a bottle in a few days!

Okay, look: Binny’s has it licked. They have a great selection of, well, they have a great selection of selections! And knowledgeable people manning the well-stocked humidors as well. I know where to go when I’m in IL, and it’s a Binny’s!

Great place to get any alcohol or cigars. But I usually venture out here when the Captain Morgan is on sale(sometimes as low as $ 19.99 for the handle). Other reasons for stopping at Binny’s is when we are invited to a party & we want to get a specific wine. Competition is great now bec Cost Co carries a good selection of wine, & for a comparable price.

This is the Binny’s that I frequent the most. They are close to home, have a great selection of beer, wine, booze and cigars. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable. In my younger days I used to work in a liquor store and it brings back good memories when I go into a place like this. If you go in for wine the staff can and will recommend a great choice for you. It’s almost as though they have drunk every bottle and type of wine just to be knowledgeable so they can make or give you the right wine for the right event. All I can say is bottoms up and drink safe.

My mom and I headed in on our way to a concert, knowing we didn’t want to spend $ 10 per beer(Mom doesn’t drink beer anyway) to pick up some booze and a flask. There were multiple employees standing around the service and register area, but we weren’t greeted or acknowledged until I went to the service desk and specifically asked about the non-plastic flasks. We were pointed in the direction of said flasks. We had just gotten there and began to discuss what was in the case when an employee who apparently works in that section greeted us and asked if he could assist us with anything. We told him we would need a moment, so he told us to «Let him know when we were ready» and walked away to help another customer. Shortly thereafter we decided what we wanted to purchase, but he was still busy, so we waited patiently. At one point he was 10′ away and made eye contact with him to let him know we were ready. He saw us standing there, so when he was done with his customer we figured he’d come back over. Nope. He began to socialize with what appeared to be a friend of his who had come into the store. So we waited. And waited. I mean, two women just standing there, not looking at anything else, facing the employee who holds the key to the goods and trying to catch his eye again. if that doesn’t scream Non-verbal Retail Cue, I don’t know what does. Not wanting to «patiently wait» anymore, I went back over to the service desk to ask for assistance with the flasks. And instead getting a key and walking the 15′ over to help us, the employees who were just standing around got on the intercom and called the talking guy over to the flasks. Talking Flask Keyholder Guy came back with no apology for the wait — just asked what we wanted, put the lid on the box, and handed it to us. Overall it seemed the employees had nothing better to do than socialize amongst themselves versus assist customers.

Bitch, Please. How could I not love it here? Large, well lit, easy to locate items, and staff with a watchful eye– in a good way. Every customer gets a greeting and the offer to help them find what they’re looking for. Their beer selections was also one of the better ones I’d seen at Binny’s. Okay, there wasn’t a ton(of the good stuff) in the cold section but I understand that a lot of folks are into all that Miller, Bud, Coors, Blue Moon, and other sh*tty sh*t beer… but I don’t understand why Oh– and they have bottles of the 3 Floyd’s + Brewdog collaboration, ‘Bitch, Please’. So yeah. Even though this Binny’s is about 728964282478 miles from my house, I wouldn’t be surprised to see myself back here scoping the sweet sip-age selection.

I love the beer guy here! He took my name and number and gave me a call when beer I had been looking for finally came in. I could also tell just from my short conversation with him that he is really passionate about beer — which makes shopping here even more fun.

Horrible! Went with my aunt to get calvados, a type of Armagnac or apple brandy for use with making a tourchon of foie gras. It’s a very common, standard alcohol, available anywhere. Except Binnys, where the staff had never heard of it, and instead suggested an atrocious, cheap, shitty, overwhelmingly oaky, one dimensional, only good for reconstituting dry mushrooms«Lairds apple jack» YUCK, I and my family will never return.
