Hurricane Grill & Wings

Very disappointing. My friend wanted to take me for a drink on a Saturday night and this was close to her house. We saw several people at the outside bar but no bartender. We waited a little bit and went inside to see if maybe there was one inside but there wasn’t. Flagged a server down who said the bartender was in the back with the manager. Okkk. So we waited some more. She finally came out and we ordered a lemon drop martini. I have no idea what they used for the lemon part. It wasn’t drinkable. Now to wait to see her again. That never happened. Flag the server down again and told him about the drinks. He went to get the manager, who never came out either. Long story short the server came and said your good just go. Nice. Pretty sure that’s the definition of bad customer service.

Won’t go back. I have been to this location several times and keep wanting them to do it right. Guess they just can’t get right.

I like it here! There is always room at the bar. We used to go to other places, but the bar during season is impossible to get to.
We always sit outside, the bartenders are all wonderful, they have $ 3.00 vodka drinks (or $ 5 doubles and a martini counts as a double) ALL DAY … try finding a martini for $ 5. anywhere, even during happy hour, which we work to late and can never make.
9 times out of 10 I get the lettuce wraps. Yumminess and not loaded with carbs. The other time I will usually get the Mahi tacos (super yummy) either way its only $ 7.99 for either
$ 12.99 for dinner AND a drink. Can you really have anything bad to say about that?
Hubby constantly changes his up but he usually goes for the $ 10.49 deal you get 4 wings and then pick from about 7 things.

its simply terrible, mac and cheese dry, nachos had nothing on it. won’t go there anymore.

Our waitress was friendly and did her best to accommodate us but ever draft beer we ordered seemed to have run out. The food was some what dissapointing as the Jumbo Onion Rings where anything but jumbo, my Blackened Cajun wings where not spicy hit as promised and my wife’s nachos were also bland.

I will start by saying that the look of the restaurant is fun and creative. It’s located in a plaza but has the beach theme to greet you in. Open outdoor bar, benches and sand! Loved the look.
Today was a Tuesday, we arrived around 8pm. missed the big crowd of families because all kids eat their meal free with an entrée. There was a great balloon artist named «Pepe «who managed to create some creative and colorful hats nearby;I got one too!
As an appetizer I ordered the conch fritters to split, with the coco loco sauce. The conch meat was delicious, however the batter was a little over cooked and more crunchy then it should have been. The sauce that we used to dip was a great recommendation from our waitress– spicy and sweet.
Entrees were ½ rack of ribs (honey BBQ) recommended by our waitress with fries. My mother was delighted by the tender meat that came off the bone; ribs were the bomb!
My entrée was the small wing platter with an upgrade of two side for $ 1.99 additional. I choose the broccoli with kettle chips. The wings could be split with two flavored– I went with Jamaican jerky and red chilli. Both were good but the Jamaican was my favorite. Wings were not as juicy as the ribs but more Crunchy which I LIKED. Preferable for me anyways. The kettle chips were satisfying but the surprise was in the broccoli– they had a garlic Parmesan season that didn’t quit soak them but dipped them. It was not expected but a great change out of bland that you would assume to broccoli.
Mom and I have never been to hurricanes before and we applaud the staff for being friendly– had at least 4 people check on us and ask how we were doing (admiration on my creative hat). Melanie was superb! She greeted us with a smile and checked on us often. We loved the look of the restaurant and admired how clean it was after a kids day. Menu offers truthful a good variety of sand and turf and grill. You can pay at the table they have a machine there to play games, orders, and pay.
Super happy we came out tonight ended up laughing and enjoying something new!

Walked in on a Monday night around 5:45, no one seated outside, maybe 10 people at the bar. We were quickly greeted and seated. That was the last contact we had with staff. Many staff members looked at us, but no one came to take a drink or order. We got up and left. Frustrating because we loved the Wellington Hurricanes, but staff had issues there too.

My wife and i just had the best time at hurricanes. John our bartender was great funny and just plain awesome. I cant wait to go back there.

Worst service ever. Asked the bartender to wipe the bar down in front of me. Totally anoyed her. When I ordered my drink I asked for a lemon. She forgot. Asked her for a lemon again. Totally anoyed her again. This place is a nice but needs to clean all there tables and the service down right sucks. I’ll never come back her again.

This was our worst experience at Hurricane Grill. The nacho’s were the worst we have ever had and the service was horrible. We cashed out early to catch the end of the football game somewhere where we could get a timely drink.

I had the hurricane salad & substituted mahi mahi for chicken and it was good and I had the honey lime dressing. Our waitress was friendly.

Very clean looks like a renovation. Fun decorated. Kid friendly. Large outside area. Very attention servers and funny looking ipads on the table where you pay your bill quickly. Will be back.

Wings are average but a lot of sauces to choose from. Wait staff is very polite, never an issue. Never a wait, that says a lot on a Saturday night. Kids like it but I prefer BWW down the street.

Typical bar food, less than average. Wings are just ok. However, they do feature many options for sauces. The garlic parmesan sauce is pretty good. You can ask for sauces on the side so that you do not have to commit to one flavor for your wings. The venue is spacious and part of the restaurant is a patio area with bar, which would be lovely during cooler weather.

This place gets worse each time I attempt to come back. I use to come here all the time. Several times a week. But kinda gave up on the place about a year ago. Seems like management changes and so does the service and quality. But my kids like wings and it’s the closest to me.
Today will be the last visit though. You would figure that a place carved around chicken wings they would be great. But today the worst I have had. They had a funny smell to them not really sure why. I wouldn’t let me kids eat them. Also got the the beer battered fish. And I understand don’t go to a wing place for good fish but it’s not hard to make beer battered fish. The fish seems to have been fried several times then laid in a heat lamp for some time being one side of it was as hard as wood.
Hope others have had better experiences but reading the other reviews it’s about typical.

I have always had good experience with the wait staff and food. It’s a very relaxing atmosphere and has a large selection of different meals. The prices are very reasonable.

If you look at the other reviews this is obviously a bit of a hit and miss restaurant.
Well we live around the corner and often go there.
We have never had a problem with wings here and appreciate the wide variety of sauces.
Service can be a little slow but it’s friendly and not that bad.
We like it that they will move a table for us so we can be technically outside with our dog.
They clearly have a big staff turnover and hence management needs to be on their toes.
Note to owners we have never seen a manager walking around checking on diners.
