Great spot for lunch and actually a romantic dinner on a small budget, white table cloths in the large dining room. Good for a fast sit down lunch. great when you have time to savor and actually enjoy the food. Made and prepared to order by Mama Julia herself. Not a fast food joint. Teenagers and lowlife check out Subway nest door!

Ordered delivery for lunch last Friday for me and a friend from work. Placed order at 11:20 am; received food at 12:50 pm(and after two calls to restaurant.) Cold food; blown lunch hour = never ordering from here again.

Ordered takeout and the chicken parm sandwich was gray and burned to a crisp. The just added sauce to cover the shoe leather. When I returned it the next day for my money back they did not even say they were sorry or even try to apologize. Check out the misspelled signs out front for Italinan Pizza !! Beware it is nasty !!

I stopped by Julia’s for takeout and it was possibly the worst experience I’ve had in quite a while. I ordered a gyro platter to go. First, let me say that the employees were incredibly friendly. However, that’s where my enjoyment stopped. After leaving and checking the meal in my car to make sure it was correct, I discovered that there was probably half the meat that was supposed to be included. I took it back in and they said the person who prepared the food though it was supposed to be the sandwich portion, which makes no sense since it wasn’t even prepared like a sandwich. Once I got home, I then realized that they completely forgot the fries that came with the meal, which meant I had to go back. Now, how was the food? Pretty awful. The gyro meat itself was incredibly greasy on the outside and dry inside. Also, I’ve never had gyro meat that was chopped up so much, which basically created a pile of meat and grease. The french fries that I went back for were equally disgusting. They were completely soaked in oil and nowhere close to being crispy or in any way edible, probably due to the oil being too cold. In the end, I threw away most of my $ 12 meal. Now keep in mind. I didn’t actually try any of their pizza or Italian food. But I expect when a restaurant has the word«Greek» in their name that they can produce something close to edible. Based on my experience with the Greek part of their menu, I don’t think I’ll take a chance on the rest of their offerings.
