Very nice store with lots of different options for all food groups. Very good catering, love the pasta /veggie salad and the mini sandwiches — sliced beef and buffalo chicken were awesome!

Love to shop here. It’s located near LA Fitness so I usually come here after the gym.

It’s nice to have a whole foods in Suffolk, I just wish it weren’t by the mall– traffic! This location is nicely laid out, clean, and has the usual perks like bulk bins, good produce, and an eat-in area. The juice bar is a nice plus. There’s plenty of parking too.

I shop at Whole Foods regularly and this is the best location on the Island. Jericho is too cramped and Manhasset is too crowded. The employees seem friendlier at this location as well. Prices are typical for the chain: reasonable for the most part given the quality of the products.

Well kept store and well stocked for what they have. Good selection of prepared food. So, why am I reviewing a whole foods? Their customer service and knowledge of their products really impressed me. Although their cheese dept is a bit inferior to their Jericho store, one of the guys in the cheese department offered to order the cheese I was looking for. It’s an obscure cheese and he knew it immediately and said he’s had trouble ordering it in the past, but will try again this week since I asked for it. How nice is that!

Prices are ludicrous. They are really asking you to pay top dollar on everything. While they are pretty much all natural here. The reality is you can get many natural and gluten free items now at Stop and Shop. It is not like the old days when regular markets did not have these items. Whole Foods needs to understand that, because apparently they do not. I am not as harsh as others as the selection of chocolate and salad bar are outstanding and there are some items if you really need those specific brands, that you can get here. I have moved on as I can get what i need from Stop & Shop, even with a Celiac wife and my Chron’s disease.

It’s a really nice store. I was pleasantly surprised that the prices are comparable with Fairway.

I eat here every day. They should change up the buffet selection a more frequently. They stopped using the bowls. Eating in a cardboard box is lame. Other than that it’s pretty good. Sushi is hit or miss.

First I want to say that Whole Foods is a great supermarket with lots of fresh food. And their produce section is displayed beautifully to exactly show this off. But unfortunately, I’m just not one of these guys who believe in this whole«organic» movement. There’s no scientific evidence that«organic» is better for you. Not one. But yet, people are still willing to pay up the nose for this. Go figure. Yup, my wife is one of them and that’s why I was in this place to begin with :). I do enjoy their products but I just feel I can get more for my money at other places. I’ve also been to the Whole Foods in Jericho and I can tell you that this place is bigger and parking is a lot more spacious.

I love the fish department at Whole Foods. The guy behind the counter is knowledgable about what is available that day. It’s always fresh and you are guaranteed that the vendors are responsible. It’s pricier than other places but IMO is well worth the cost. I also love that you can ask to sample any of the products. You can also get a hot small coffee for 27 cents!

Had an incident at the Lake Grove NY location. With an employee and manager earlier today. Hoping to resolve issue soon. Felt discriminatory Have always had a pleasant experience in there until today. Felt manager that was on duty handled situation poorly. Contacted their corporate regional office, spoke with a customer service rep. Who promised to investigate incident, that someone from that store will contact me.

Criminally Over Priced! WHOLEFOODS was caught ripping off the Public in Los Angels and had heavy fines to pay. The East Coast is Next. Speaking of which this NY Whole Foods has to be the worst. Worst Customer Service, rude and lack of knowledge on allergen goods or even what the Store Carries! Ive read on Unilocal about racist remarks and not hiring people for racist reasons. The store also leaves rancid food on there shelves.

This is an interesting specialty grocery store that I shop at periodically. My primary interest is in good, fresh food, not necessarily organic. A fair bit, though far from all of the store’s offerings, are to my taste. My biggest reservation with Whole Foods is their high prices. Overall, the store is very clean and it’s employees are quite helpful. I’ve found their produce section excellent, as well as their selection of cheeses. Their steam table, prepared food is a mixed bag: the Indian dishes are quite good, including the Samosas. Some of the other steam table food varies from so-so to just bad(like rubbery chicken or dried out pork). The bakery items also vary from very good to unimpressive, such as some wonderful jalapeño pretzels and some mediocre cake slices. Also, I’ve had no problems returning items there, occassionally. I’ll continue shopping there once in a while. They just don’t fit into my regular grocery shopping rotation.

I absolutely love whole foods, and so happy I found this one close to me. As soon as you walk in, you can already see the cleanliness and all the fresh produce. My favorite to get here are the fresh cut fruits, as well as their fresh made guacamole, its absolutely delicious. Meat selection is very good also. If youre hungry while shopping, stop by the hot bar, they always have delicious food, soups, salads and not to mention their sushi bar! don’t see sushi you want, tell them, they will make it for you right on the spot! and last but not least, the gelato bar. yum yum! fresh made gelato, different flavors as well as fresh brewed coffee!

I stopped shopping here because frankly, I can’t afford too with how high the prices are. However, this four star review is for their food court and eating area. Whether you want fresh sushi, sandwiches, hot buffet, salad bar or bakery items, whole foods has a great selection especially for lunch.

Love this place. They definitely have the quality and variety that doesn’t exist in this area. They have a wide selection of fruits and vegetables at pretty much the highest quality you can get. For instance, they have 5 – 6 different varieties of fresh peppers and even more if you count the dried types. Fruits: they have a wider selection than most other stores. The only other one comparable to this store is probably the trader joes across the street. Their meats are also quite fresh. The only caveat is that you definitely pay for the quality. Nothing in this store is cheap. If you normally spend $ 20 in a grocery store, be prepared to spend $ 30 – 40. If you are looking for real organic milk, this is probably the only place you will find it – glass and all. They have an entire section dedicated to prepared foods. While it is a little pricey, it is very good and health conscious to a certain degree. Located right next to the gym, it is a great place to stop by to grab a bite before heading home.

I love this store, especially for their fresh meat, but you pay for it. Fresh flowers and colorful produce greets you when you enter the store. Many holistic items are in the toiletry/vitamin section, but again you pay for it. Beers from everywhere are in the rear center of the store, I don’t know the prices of those. The compact cheese department is loaded with cheeses around the world. There is a deli department beside the pizza, bakery and coffee departments, all of which are very expensive. A large food/salad bar is in the center of this area, and I didn’t buy anything, so I cannot comment on taste or price. The groceries are a little to «Ewell Gibbons» for me, but in a pinch, the prices are still high. This is an expensive store, but if you are willing to pay for mostly natural foods, then this is the place to go. The meat department is the finest. Adequate handicapped parking is provided.
