This location has drastically improved over the last few weeks. I’m not sure if they have new management or if it’s a corporate store but it has changed for the better. My husband and I grab chicken for our 2 year old before we get sushi at Kanji which is multiple times a week.

Such a rude supervisor. Her name was Angie. I came at 9:15am today because my lunch was scheduled super early. I saw online that they opened at 9:00am, I walk in. Was greeted by the cashier and he smiled and said«we don’t open until 10:00am but you can order something simple like a Bean & cheese burrito» I said yeah sure, then the supervisor came out and said in a very rude tone of voice: «We ARENOTOPEN!» And I said, «oh well your hours online say you are opened at 9am.» **Obviously if you don’t open until 10:00am but your hours say 9:00am, why would I come? Anyways. Just a bad experience, I’ll still come back and give it another try.

I haven’t eaten here in a long time and I remember it being pretty tasty. I stopped by around 4 pm for a 10 piece and some sides. When we dug into it at home, the chicken was like jerky, extremely dry and was almost inedible. Unfortunately it cost me 25 bucks, so it was going down, regardless. Luckily, I had plenty of beer to wash down that sawdust. I should’ve returned the damn thing! I think they gave me the surplus from their lunch time crowd that had been sitting for a while. From now on, I’ll go across the street to the KFC, at least their bird is pretty consistent.

Friendliest staff anywhere. Really impressed with their attentiveness. No drive thru at this location which is a bit of an inconvenience for me but I still come to this location because they are so great. Really good at making the customer happy!

I would give this place zero stars if I could. Waited 15 minutes in the drive through for a $ 5 bowl of nasty rice. Hardly any chicken and a few bits of lettuce. Was supposed to be a Chicken Caesar bowl. What a supreme rip off. Be forwarned! The store on Lake Forest by the 24 hour fitness.

Dont know whats going on with EDUARDO. He was taking orders very arrogant way. The worst customer service ever! Can hardly understand what he said, then he just grabbed my card and charged. Understand this place gets hectic around lunch time, but that guy just ruined my day. Do not order anything with him.

Eating Pollo Loco makes me feel as if I’m eating healthy. The thought of Grill, rather than deep fried or covered on Orange or teriyaki sauce(Chinese style) chicken just feel HEALTHY. Kids friendly & a great menu. Will definitely keep coming back to this chain. This particular location is very clean, cashiers are friendly and food was fast and hot.

There’s no parking during the week. And the parking spots are extremely narrow. Good luck!

I’m not sure if hell is real or not, but if it is, I imagine it is a lot like the parking lot at this El Pollo Loco. In hell you would have a 24 hour lunch break, and spend 23 hours and 50 minutes of that lunch break trying find a parking spot, 8 minutes ordering and waiting for them to call your order, and 2 minutes to drive back to work, eating one of your 3BRC Burritos before clocking back in at work angry and starving.

Great service — cashier named Aaron Leal literally made my night. Great service and had me laughing as I ordered. Give this guy a raise!

To be clear this is located on Bake And Trabuco I always give a store 3 times before I give a review to see how consistent they are. I have been there four time and never had a problem. management and their team all work together and get the orders out prompt I was especially expressed with Aaron The server Aaron was extremely polite and thoughtful … I am so picky when it comes to customer service and Aaron is by far one of the best I have ever seen. Aaron should actually be in management directing the employees he sets a great example … The management team there is also a great team they all work together

Worst service ever. They deserve 0 stars. Today we ordered lunch from them early in the morning and asked them to deliver by 11:30. So now its 1:00 and everyones lunch is over and here comes the food. Terriable service. Do they think we have lunch time all day or what. Will never order from them again

Have been here several times as it is close to work. The food is hit or miss and they never open up on time, as well as being closed on holidays that they say they will be open. This is another reason I say hit or miss csuse you can’t go by the times listed on website or on the door cause they have been closed several times when suppose to be open. They are skimpy on the toppings of beans and rice especially on the tostada salad which is the only thing I’ll order here.

Finally, we get to come here by coming during afternoon tea hours. During lunch hours, it is virtually impossible to get a parking space in this plaza. At this location, the salsa bar is on an island instead of attached to a wall or other partition like other branches. They have the same drink offerings as other locations. They also have outdoor seating. However, everything here feels a little narrow due to the layout. The staff here is very social. They tend to talk a lot with the customers, even us. After ordering, one will receive a number and they will deliver it to the table. There were no issues during this visit other than the difficult parking situation.(I might rate higher if I walked here, but my office isn’t close enough to this location.) The food tasted good, especially their stuffed quesadillas(which I used a coupon for).

We have lived around the corner for three years and love this location. Food is fresh and authentic to the local Mexican culture. We enjoy trying the new foods they offer every once in awhile for promotions. Chicken is delicious! Most notably, the SERVICE is amazing and unique. Each person asks how we are and is so friendly and personable. Not sure why there are only 2.5 stars here. I give them a 5!

Worst customer service skills ever. The girl who packed my food just threw my food on the counter without saying anything and then immediately turned her back on me.

Came here this passed Saturday, walked in and the white girl with koala make up at the register was arguing with a coworker over chicken. CHICKEN! At first I laughed but then I realized just how sad and pathetic it was at the same time. They we going back and forth in front of everyone eating and waiting inline. Lovely example of undertrained employees with no customer service skills. I felt like I was in high school all over again watching a fight about to break out. I left and went next door.

Please be wary if you choose to eat here. I ordered a chicken avocado burrito for lunch and found: a human head hair, a human PUBIC(i.e. Small and curly) hair, and the charred end of a straw wrapper all inside my burrito within a few bites. I did not finish my burrito and had I not gotten to go food I would have demanded a refund. My lunch hour was completely ruined. I will not be returning to this unsanitary location.

You would want the chicken to be amazing at a «chicken restaurant». But this is hardly the case. Yes I KNOW this is fast food. But it still has STANDARDS. The chicken that came out for our family meal was dry and burnt. At least the skin had flavor, because the meat itself was dry and not very good. At least I had some spicy avocado sauce to help me swallow(yes yes that’s what she said but I digress). The best parts were actually the salad which had a good avocado ranch dressing with it and the rice and beans were passable. But being a «pollo» restaurant… how can you BUTCHER the meat like that?

Tried the citrus mango tostada. Not good. Shell was not fresh, corn tasted old, citrus dressing doen’t go well with beans and rice. Mango was pulpy too. I was very disappointed with the quality of the food prep at this location. One good thing is they serve horcata(rice milk) here.
