Great place and such a great price! Was going to hit the neighboring restaurant for lunch and saw tacos. Now understand that tacos are taken seriously by Hispanics. For 9 bucks I got 3 huge tacos, rice, beans, and a beverage. The tacos were so incredibly flavorful and the salsas exquisite. The tortilla was nice and warm and tasted great. The beans are your average, rice was good. The beverage was a mixed fruit and what s delight it was! Definitely coming back, in the meantime I’m stuffed!

I just had the most disappointing lunch this year at Harry’s Tacos. This place took over the kitchen of a popular Tijuana style taqueria called Los Tacos Ricos. The new management is now serving Mexican and Salvadorean food. Most of the menu did not change, except for the addition of Central American pupusas and tamales. However, there was a very noticeable change with the food prep. The food quality at Harry’s Tacos is a major downgrade compared to Los Tacos Ricos, which might explain why the restaurant was nearly empty during my lunch hour visit. If it weren’t for the $ 5.99 Thursday special banner that caught my attention, I probably wouldn’t have been baited in. The Thursday promotion was said to include a burrito of choice with guacamole and sour cream. I ordered the lengua burrito, which turned out to be absolutely awful. It nearly had no flavor at all. Lengua is typically juicy, moist, and tender, but Harry’s lengua was flavorless and served in shredded pieces that resembled carnitas more than lengua. Other elements inside the burrito such as the Spanish rice and refried beans were also as bland as a scone. What made matters worse were the two salsas that I retrieved from the salsa bar — completely mild and stale. The green salsa had more lime and pineapple flavor than roasted chile. The red salsa was terribly remiss, with sweet tomato taste and abnormal watery consistency. Neither were compatible with burrito nor the complementary chips. Both salsas lacked any sort of heat from fresh roasted chile. Aside from this issue, the advertisement indicated that guacamole is included inside the burrito. It wasn’t the case for my order. In addition, the promotion price for the Thursday burrito was supposed to be $ 5.99, but after double checking my receipt, I was charged $ 6.29. Sounds like bait and switch to me. Horrible food, dishonest pricing, terrible execution. I now understand why this restaurant was empty during lunch.

The review from«Kathy» below is actually a review from one of the owners or friends of the owners, their pictures of cakes in their profile are from the bakery that is advertised in the taco restaurant lol. Leave the reviews to those of us unfortunate enough to eat here, and get honest with your business. The worst part, instead of contacting me to make it right, you write a fake review. I honestly don’t care if anyone else eats here, I’m not out to ruin your business, I just feel like a chump for wasting my money on this trash. I originally left two stars but the lack of integrity destroyed one of them. Haha good business model *wink The original review I wrote seems to have disappeared when I updated this one. Sigh… It detailed being charged different prices then what was advertised… Came here for taco Tuesday looking for a decent potato taco. Advertised for 1.50 each but was charged 2.25 each. I confirmed twice with the dude up front about the price but he just kept saying«yeah» instead of understanding my confusion about the weird price. I know you’re thinking, it’s not that much money, big deal right? It’s a big deal when I order two tacos, and a bean and cheese burrito, for a kid, plain… With no rice and beans on the side. no drink included. and my total is over ten freakin dollars lol. Losers. The burrito was gross, but my kid and I choked it down because we were starving haha. Raw, stale, flour tortilla, shredded mozzarella not even melted on the inside. The complimentary chips were a SMALL bowl of stale crumbs, and the salsa bar was two different kinds, both about two spoonfuls of watery goop in the bottom of some large Tupperware. No salt! no onions! no cilantro! no carrots! no lime! No Tapatio! No Cholula! Are you too cheap to even put salt on the table? No way are we coming back here. Oh yeah, and the word Harry, spelled any way you’d like does not mix well with food lol. Whimper. Gag.
