Nourish Cafe

I love this place. It feels so warm and food is clean and Delish! Wish I lived closer to take out from take out menu.

I was picking up my glasses from lens crafters when I spotted this café. I decided to circle around and try out this place.
Spinach and walnut salad with honey mustard dressing — fresh, sweet juicy apples, crispy walnuts, plump cranberries and a tangy house honey mustard sauce.
Organic Lentil Soup — lentils lightly seasoned with pepper. Very basic but very good if you have a cold or cough or it’s a cold day. Made fresh as well.
Egg Salad sandwich — not a lot of mayo but very moist made on a whole grain bread that wasn’t dry but just right to compliment the eggs.
(I tried to put a little salt on my eggs, but there was no need to, i liked the taste so two more points for basic flavor!)
Organic Lemonade — THE BEST HANDS DOWN! Only 3 dollars!!! Boy, I was blown away once Denise brought me this little gem. It was so good!!!
Being someone who isn’t great at healthy eating/​healthy cooking, Denise the owner graciously offered to help cook my food and research what I should and shouldn’t eat for my condition. She is also very helpful with her customers in going over ingredients with them and catering to their specific needs.
She let me know she made some shepherds pie with ground turkey and a turkey stroganoff for another customer, and that she had a couple, so I couldn’t resist. They were 9 dollars a piece and well worth the portion size.
We need more chefs and entrepreneurs like Denise. She puts her love in her food and makes everything fresh, and I seriously mean FRESH, so even though there is a wait, it is definitely well worth the wait! Not only that she loves her customers. I just overheard her with another customer apologizing for not having something in stock and offering them something for free for their troubles. WOW. Awesome, awesome, awesome.

I ate there several months ago and LOVED IT. So I decided to ease my cooking at home chores and try their take out in large quantities. Wow, I was surprised how good the curry, shepherd’s pie, and stroganoff were. I highly recommend.

We stopped in for lunch while out running errands. I’d noticed this café as we came in the mall, and we discussed having a «healthy» lunch. Subway was my husband’s choice, but I wanted to come back to Nourish Café. I am glad we did. I had the ½ soup + ½ sandwich lunch, with a ½ veggie sandwich and a cup of the split pea soup. Both were delicious. Denise was a delight, too. Finished up with a serving of blackberry ice cream. Yummy! We will be back — good menu choices of healthy, organic food.

So amazing!!! The owner denise is an amazing woman… healthy, vegan/​wedgie friendly. …a real mom and pop shop ! I ate the turkey works wrap and lentil soup and it left me antisipating tomorrow’s lunch breaks :)

What a pleasant surprise to find this place. Homestyle hospitality and a healthy home-​cooked meal. Gluten free options, tasty but not over seasoned. There’s nothing negative to say.

As a first timer I will sure be back. Denise made my sandwich so quickly. And my favorite store is next door so I’ll for sure be back soon! I love the atmosphere and the food is all natural and healthy. She made my sandwich is less than a minute literally

Healthy, organic, delicious lunch served by the owner Denise, who prepares all the food herself. The turkey vegetable soup was love in a bowl.

I have been by this place a few times but haven’t been able to stop in for lunch. The name fits the food. It nourishes your stomach and your satisfies your soul. And a lot of her stuff can be done gluten free for anyone not wanting to eat gluten.
Today I finally came in and had a wonderful cup of lentil soup and a delicious ½ grilled veggie sandwich on ancient grains bread with an white pear ginger ice tea that was very good. The grilled veggies and the caramelized onions gave my sandwich a great flavor.
The food was so homey and the service is wonderful. Denise is very pleasant to talk to and if you have time ask her about her story of how she came about opening up Nourish Café.
When you come in it has the feel of someone’s home with little accents of bric a brac around that you can purchase.
Denise also let me sample the broccoli slaw and the turkey soup. Both were incredible. Definitely give this little hidden gem a try. It is in the Laguna Hills Mall up a little on the Rubio’s side.

I’m glad more healthy vegan option are in San Clemente.

Love this café! An oasis of health and nourishment minded vegetarian and organic food and drinks. Great atmosphere for a lunch date!

This place has some pretty great healthy eats and Denise is a total sweetheart. She can customize any items to shit your needs, everything is gluten free and organic as well :)

First time here.. I needed to get a quick lunch between clients as usual, and since I’m in to healthy food, fast food drive thrus are never an option! This place has amazingly good, healthy clean, Organic food with so much yummy flavor! And Denise, the owner, is so sweet and accommodating!

I absolutely love this place! Denise is a total sweetheart and the atmosphere if the place is very French and homey. I am an employee at the mall and I can promise you there is no better food than this place! Her store is delicious you’ve got to try it!

This is my latest find! Healthy, organic and gluten free. Yummy soups and sandwiches. But best of all home cooked with love! If you look for a place to unwind and truly get nourished this is it!

I haven’t tried their food yet, but have gone here twice for iced tea. The lady working at Nourish Café, Denise, is sweet and helpful. She knows about the menu and can tell you about what is on it. The first time I tried an organic iced tea with a pear flavoring in it, and the second time the Lemongrass and Mint iced tea was chosen. Both iced teas were very good and had nice flavors. They were more natural tasting than other iced teas I’ve tried from different restaurants and cafes.
Denise said the Lemongrass and Mint was her favorite. I thought the price was reasonable and would opt for Nourish’s Iced Teas over the competitors when in this mall. When I’ve gone here, there haven’t been many customers. The menu looks good, full of wholesome and healthy items, and I would be open to trying them in the future. The Café is clean and inviting. I found it to be a nice place to sit and relax the first time I went. The second time was a To-​Go order and served as a nice middle of the day refreshment. Will try again and post an update.

Visiting this area, and decided to stop for a cup of soup. Family run place, very obvious which is rare here in OC. Iced coffee was good, soup was a bit bland but seemed like a good healthy snack. Not sure why but I seemed to annoy the gal :(I don’t think people here are used to having conversations with new faces.
I would like to come back for lunch once but prices and location are prohibitive. Also hard to find parking.
Only recommend if you are on a diet.

What a gem! We came to this mall to get a Halloween costume for my daughter and after walking by decided to check it out. It smells absolutely heavenly when you walk in! All the fresh homemade soups simmering. Mmmmmm I bought a portion of the lentil soup and added some yummy ingredients at home to make it even more filling. Definitely a spot worth checking out! Service was great and the prices are reasonable.

Can’t wait to come back… My first time and loved everything I’ve tried … Definitely fresh food and home made too… loved the lemon grass mint tea and also the turkey soup was delicious as well as the sandwich was very testy and well made…

This is our new lunch stop after the farmers’ market on Fridays; my son and I have been coming in for the past few weeks. So happy to have a healthy option at the mall. I always get the egg salad sandwich with either a soup or salad and have never been disappointed. The food is always very fresh. My son (8 months old) loves both the lentil soup and the turkey and vegetable soup. The organic iced teas are very good too, I usually go with either the mint of ginger.
The service is very good. Denise is always so welcoming and remembers us when we come in. Even though she is busy, she makes it a point to come and talk to us for a little while. Nourish Café has a great vibe and if you’re in the area you should give it a try.

The lovely owner greets you as you enter. Loved the natural and organic choices. She had just taken out a tray of freshly broiled vegetables which smelled heavenly so I opted for the vegetable sandwich on 7 grain bread. Added a small bowl of Lentil Soup and Tea. Sat down at a little white tablecloth table with a beatiful little flower arrangement. All glass windows from floor to ceiling so you can people watch! Enjoyed every morsel.
