While shopping a few days ago on Black Friday, I NEEEEEDED some pretzels. I had a buy one get one free, so I went with the Cini Bites and Pretzel Bites. I seriously didnt expect the bag to be so big! They were both so fresh and so delicious! I ate a few of each and sent the rest home with my friend for her kids… I never expected them to have so many pieces in them. I sure wish I had some right now! :) The guy that helped me was also very friendly, and quick!

When ever I go to Laguna Hills Mall, I always stop at Wetzel’s Pretzels, I have never had a problem with any of there pretzels, until last week when I ordered the nuggets instead of a big pretzel, they were so greasy and oily, they must have taken the bottle of grease and poured it all over the nuggets, instead of maybe dabbing a little bit on. Very disappointed. Needed a lot of napkins after that. Maybe some retraining needs to be done at that store. I have noticed that the store is never really that busy no matter what day or time it is.

When ever I come to this mall with my grandma I get the cinnamon pretzel bitz. I just love them. You can also buy a little container of icing to tip them in for 89 cents if that is you thing. They have tables right in front to eat them on. YUM

I have always loved Wetzel’s Pretzels. Their garlic pretzels with their pizza sauce is amazing! Why the two star review then? They attempted to charge me for WATER! Seriously! According to them, they were not charging me for the water but for the physical cup. While I can understand they would charge non-paying customers for the cup, I cannot fathom why they would charge their PAYING customers for a cup of water. That is just low. I will never go back to the Wetzel’s again, and I just hope that the other’s are not as cheap as this particular one. Wetzel’s pretzels must be hurting if they need to stoop so low as to charge their PAYING customers for a cup of water. Shame on you Wetzel’s Pretzels!

The pretzels are pretty good here. I like this location better than the spectrum because they have some tables right there. At the spectrum, you have to walk quite a ways for any tables. The prices have gone up alot. The pretzels are better than Auntie Anne’s. They replace the pretzels once they get too old. but if the staff gets lazy they may forget. They taste best when they are fresh, and have the yummy butter on them.

If you want a «pretzel,» go here. If you want a PRETZEL, don’t go here. I was craving a serious German snack and figured pretzel with mustard and some beer. Wandering around the Laguna Hills mall when this craving hit, I had to settle for Wetzel’s. Not exactly comparable, but it’ll have to do for now. I’ve never had Wetzel’s before, nor have I ever had a pretzel of this kind at any chain. I’ve always eaten the dried pretzels, preferably honey wheat dipped in spicy mustard accompanied by garlic stuffed olives, but I guess Wetzel’s, or Aunti Whatever, or any of the other«pretzel» companies out there will do. I ordered the Wetzel bits as they are easier to eat and maneuveur than the actual«pretzel.» What a disappointment. it tasted good so don’t get me wrong, but it definitely did not taste like a pretzel. Ever had really good homemade bread? You know, the kind that’s sliced an inch and a half thick and each slice weighs just under a pound and smells like heaven? Yeah well, that’s what the pretzel dough here is like. Great dough for bread, but not pretzels. Ever had that same homemade bread fried in a pan with butter so that it comes out sweet, warm, crispy on the outside, soft and countrystyle on the inside? Well, that’s what the pretzels here taste like. They taste great, but they don’t taste like pretzels. If you want yummy country fried bread, this is the place to go. If you want a pretzel, I’m still searching so go ask someone else. I’ll not venture into sampling the rest of their menu. Sorry. I just don’t feel it’s worth it, though I’m sure it all tastes fine for Mall food.
