International Hair Salon & Spa Laguna

2 ½ hours for a mani pedi. Too long when family was arriving for my wedding the next day. The clear polish started seriously flaking in 2 days. I would have done a better job myself. 80 $ I could have saved and time…

I was staying in Laguna for a few days and desperately needed to get my nails done, they fit me in on short notice and Gina did an amazing job and was so friendly! Also a bonus: The products they use are top quality and prices are very fair (gel manicure was $ 35). Definitely recommend to anyone staying in Laguna, the location is great.

Stayed at the hotel and came in for a pedicure. Gina was very nice and gave me a great treatment. See review for her as well on her own Unilocal account. I liked that it was not a big turn and burn nail salon so not overcome by fumes but also she was very careful with what she was doing. As I sat there I watched several men come in for hair cuts that appeared to be regulars. I watched a lovely bride-​to-​be getting hair and makeup for photos as well. Chelsea did the makeup and Noreen the hair. The girl was stunning! But I was also impressed with how much follow up they were offering to make sure they were ready for the big day as well. Any changes that might need to be adopted and even asking for maybe an interim follow up to make sure curls will hold.
I was so impressed that I brought my other half downstairs for a quick haircut when he finished his work. He was needing a different style that will take time to grow in some areas but be cut regularly in others. Chelsea did a great job. Hopefully he can keep coming back when out this way on business. Overall very impressed with the professionalism of everyone here and very friendly treatment. Look forward to returning.

I am a natural blonde and like to get highlights in the winter. I have fairly thin hair and I don’t just trust anybody to work with it. I had a bad experience at Salon Incognito in San Clemente many years back when the hairdresser burnt my scalp. Chelsea is a blonde expert. She knows blonde hair! I am extremely happy after every service from her. If you are blonde, go see Chelsea. And go see her even if you aren’t blonde! She is the most pleasant hairdresser ever!

I Would not recommend this salon to friends or family! Our entire party was not happy with the service.

I had the privilege of Noreen styling my hair. She knew what I wanted and delivered.
I had a holiday party to go to so I agreed to get my makeup done also. I walk out feeling more glamorous than I have in many years. I was The belle of the ball. All I can say is I can’t wait to do it again. Loretta

I just had my hair cut and colored by Chelsea and love how it came out! She is a genius with blonde highlights and made my hair look so natural and sun kissed. Highly recommended.

I love this place. Noreen, the owner is one of the most amazing and accommodating people I know. They were able to take the bride and maid of honor at the last minute and do a fabulous job with it! This review is NOT about the quality of the product; I never got that far. It seems from other reviews that they do nice work.
So this is just about the sales technique I was met with — the «let me tell you what’s wrong with you so that you then feel compelled to pay me to fix it» technique.
I walked in today with my mother, thinking we would treat ourselves to a mani-​pedi. A woman greeted us with a «Hi ladies! What can I do for you today? Did you want to fix those eyebrows?» Since my eyebrows were not even on my radar as something that needed fixing, I stood there and stared awkwardly for a second and then made a lame attempt at a joke — something like «why, do they need fixing?»
(NOTE: the **correct** answer to this question is «No, of course not! They are fine. I will focus on whatever you would like me to focus on.» Actually, no. There is no correct answer to that question, since that situation should **never** happen. It was already too late.)
But her response was «yeah, you should give them some shape! So they’re not so straight across! And clean them up around here and here.. .» as though I had actually requested a consult.
Sigh. So rude. Such a blatant attempt to make me feel bad about myself so that she can make money. I walked out.

Sister and I had some free time while our husbands golfed so we went in and enjoyed the day spa. I had a facial by Annine and it was Wonderful. Best I have ever had. She also suggested I get my eyebrows and eye lashes tinted and I am so glad I did that. After the facial she did a complimentary make up application. I looked and felt amazing. TD did a buff and polish and is also very good at what he does. Love this spa and will be going back next time I am in town.

Great little location! My wife’s nails never looked better. When she’s happy, I’m happy. Thanks for taking good care of her.

I had a pedicure and manicure today from TD. Technique was excellent, the results were wonderful, and the excellent job was only exceeded by his wonderful demeanor and kind and gentle ways! I strongly recommend TD! I was totally satisfied!

Came in during our Art Walk visit. The cosmetologist was informative and did a demo on one of my friends.
What left a bad impression: an older woman came by, while we were enjoying hors d’oeuvres and grab the platter! How rude!!! And NO we were not grubbing on it! If you don’t want to be part of the Art Walk experience, LOCK YOUR DOORS AND GO HOME!

Bobbie did a manicure and pedicure on me today. I think this is the best I’ve had. She is such a nice lady and on top of that her quality of work is exceptional and articulate. Thank so much! Will definitely return.

I have been getting my hair done by Jamie for a while and wanted to share with everyone how wonderful she is. I always leave happy with my cut and color. she really knows how to listen to what the client wants and the results are amazing! Highly recommend this salon! I was referred to this location by a family friend and I am sure glad I used this spa’s services on my special graduation day! My hair was beautifully curled by International Spa Hair Owner, Noreen and my curls lasted all day even into the next morning when I turned my curls into a great up-​do for brunch! My make-​up was FLAWLESS and was done by the International Make-​Up Spa owner Miki Garcia. I received so many compliments on my make-​up and it too lasted all day. The prices are competitive for the «formal make-​up/​hair» market and I will use this business again for special events. Both women were so kind and professional and VERY prompt which I appreciated since I was on a tight time schedule. It is very convenient that the hair part of the spa is only two doors down from the make-​up so it really is a one stop shop! GREAT work by both women. Thank you!

I went here for hair and make up for my wedding. Makeup girl was FABULOUS! She was so nice and did a super job. Noreen did my hair she did a good job and was nice but kind of got an attitude with my maid of honor when she asked if she could curl her own hair in the bathroom. I get it they got to make money but I’m dropping over $ 200 in your place you could be nice and let my MOH do her thing in the bathroom so she can be with me. All in all though good service and I looked GREAT for my big day and that’s what counts.

Bobbie did my nails on Wed the 1^st. She was a very nice lady but my nails look horrible, there was a weird cracking white film over my nails. They are thin in spots thicker in other places. I JUST STOPPED PAYMENT ON MY CHECK BECAUSE I SPENT another 100.00 to get them repaired. She is the only nail tech working so I am NOT going to go back and have HER fix them :(very disappointed.
