Don’t waste your time here. First, won’t take a visa gift card… Said they’ve been ripped off too many times. Then, gave us keys, that didn’t work, to someone else’s room! Then argued that ‘there isn’t anyone in that room’. Finally, in our room, I don’t even know where to begin. Limp pillows, sheets that are yellowed and covered in pils, hairs(not ours) on bathroom floor, broken tiles, holes in very unclean carpet, broken lamp shades. I am a very easy going traveler/camper– don’t need a fancy hotel to be happy. This was awful.

Wifi sucked. Intermittently demanded login and password and was still slow, then stopped working. No eggs at breakfast. Otherwise decent rooms, nice bathrooms.

Stayed here overnight for 1 night with my husband. Very affordable, fast, friendly service at the front desk and a clean room. Bed was comfy, free breakfast was standard. Overall, not a bad choice for a place to rest your head.

When arriving to a hotel late a night, on a busy weekend like this, you would expect for the hotel to have your room ready, yet in this case, the room wasn’t even reserved. I reserved this hotel to drop off my son at Purdue University, located a couple miles away, and so we expected to have one last night together before he went off to college, but when arriving at the front desk, it was a whole other story. The man at the front desk easily told us that their system had made a mistake by allowing us and possibly several other guests to reserve rooms that were not available. He said that they had a total of 64 rooms and that the system thought it had more rooms to give out, so without any sympathy or concern, he told us a simple and callous sorry and let us leave as if nothing. Since it was last minute, no hotel had any rooms and we were forced to sleep in the car… I am still with the doubt that they might of charged us for that«room.» How could it be that a hotel like this, let its guests walk out practically homeless for that occasion, AND not shut down the reservation system? ***PLEASEALLGUESTS, CALLINADVANCEOFYOURARRIVALTOMAKESUREYOUACTUALLYHAVE A ROOM***

I came to Lafayette due to work in which they picked out my hotel. The first thing I do when I walk into a hotel room is put the air on as low as it can go in this case it was 60 and that was at 730. After showering eating and getting ready for bed I laid down and fell asleep about 1030. I woke up at 1230 due to my room being incredibly hot like a sauna. I went downstairs and expressed my concerns about the heat and was told she couldn’t get maintenance since it was so late so she placed me in a different room. I got in the room to discover what looked like mold and water marks on the ceiling. I figured I’d give it a shot since I was so tired(did I mention I had to go to work for 6am?). I turned the air on cold high. I was unable to sleep still due to heat so I figured I keep it on high while I went to work 6am to 2pm and hopefully by the time I got off it be cold enough for me to nap. It’s not. So here I am writing a review instead of napping. I have it 1 star for the front desk girl trying. Other than that they don’t have a pool, wifi connection is horrible, the mattress is extremely uncomfortable and the rooms aren’t/ can’t get cold enough.

Baymont Inn definitely has a good location in Lafayette, off state road 26 and 65. Although, so do the 5 other hotels down the frontage road that Baymont sits on. Baymont does have free breakfast, wifi, micro/fridge/coffee in the room. It all was fine, nothing to earth shattering here, it all worked and was basic. They also have small flat panel TVs with tons of channels. It was for the most part clean, although there was what looked like black mold on the top of our shower(gross!). Our maid service seemed good and the beds were comfy. It was an OK stay. No problems. I must say we booked here vs. the last place we stayed(which was fine too) based on all the over the top stellar reviews. I think this is a OK place, but I wouldn’t pay more to stay here.

Well the Baymont is perfectly located right off of 65 and there are a bunch of restaurants and bars nearby so you don’t need to wander too far. The bed was comfortable enough and there was actually a good selection on the TV. I’m sure it was dirty, but the ceiling in the bathroom had black flecks and streaks all over it that looked suspiciously like mold. I honestly didn’t want to test my theory by running my hand over it, so let’s just hope it wasn’t, okay? The check in desk people were not particularly helpful or a joy to speak to, but I guess you can’t expect too much.

My husband and I checked in the wee hours of the night as we were driving from WI to NC and this place was great. It was a good stopping point for us. All we needed was a bed and shower and this place even had free breakfast. Breakfast hours were early, 6 – 9, so don’t oversleep! We went downstairs for breakfast at 8:50 and the lady cleaning up basically served us making sure we had all we needed before she took things up. Great hospitality! I called a few other hotels in the area and they were quite snooty and overpriced. This hotel’s front desk guy was nice and cheery even after midnight. With tax our room was $ 88 and the place was packed which made us feel better. We had a 5×8 enclosed uhaul trailer too which was safe over night in the corner of the parking lot. I would stay here again if in the area.

We checked in late at night, 2 adults, 2 kids, 2 dogs… Super friendly staff. Very efficient and helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean and a great price. $ 68 for 2 queen beds. Ideally located off the freeway and near a Starbucks thankfully. We would happily come back here and we would recommend this to anyone. Good experience.

Great experience. Big spacious rooms. I got a nice deal at 1 am on a week night. The girl that was wearing the Hollister Hoody was really really nice and patient. Breakfast was nice and neat. Manager was also very nice in the morning. The rooms were quiet and my sleep was comfortable. Oh, and the bathrooms are HUGE. and VERY nice. Highly recommend this place over 10 other hotels in the square mile. Ask for a coupon deal. ;)

I found this hotel to be adequate to our purposes … In in the evening, out in the morning. It was clean, the desk staff was friendly and accommodating though a little flustered that our online booking did not get to them. We found it just a bit threadbare despite a «recent» renovation. Nice big bathroom and a nice comfy bed. But skimped on the small stuff like towels and extra pillows. We passed on the continental breakfast opting for a hot breakfast at the Cracker Barrel just down the street. An option I’d suggest. In all, a reasonable value for short stay … for longer stays we prefer a few more amenities.

Really great experience at this hotel. The room and bathroom was quite big, beds were so comfortable, quite the classy stay for not a ton of money. The front desk was always so accommodating and polite which is comforting and makes it even better. Everything is clean and lovely.

Really great hotel. I go to Lafayette with my family for Feast of the Hunter’s Moon every year, and we usually stay at the Days Inn right down the road from Baymont. This year, however, the Days Inn was booked. But change can be good, and in this case it was. Front desk guys(and all employees) were very friendly and extremely helpful. Nice HD TVs in every room and WiFi with no connectivity problems. Breakfast was nice, and you can make your own waffles. Air conditioning worked well(I like being freezing at all times) and the bathroom was very roomy and well kept. Beds were bouncy(don’t act like this doesn’t matter to you) and pillows are labeled with whether they’re firm or soft. Starbucks and White Castle are at the end of the road, and tons of other restaurants, stores, theaters, and gas stations are within a few miles. Great location. I recommend it, and I’ll be back next year.
