We’ve been here a couple of times in the time we’ve lived here. At first it was great. Good was good & so was the service. But lately the past few times we’ve come here service has been horrible. Not just from crew members, but the manager as well. & well the food not so great. Tonight I ordered via drive thru & apparently they were facing a party inside or so it seemed. I kept repeating my order but this girl was more interested in her coworkers conversations instead of doing her job. I pulled up to the window after placing my order & was there a few minutes watching the workers talk, yell dance, even hitting the bell, before any of them noticed me at the window. When I got home & opened my food I was shocked at the tiny pieces of «chicken tenders» if you can call them that as tiny as they were. It’s sad because there aren’t many around this area, but looks like we’ll be putting Popeyes on hold till we get back to the east coast. One good thing is they do honor military discounts.

Great staff. Great managers. And no up charge for customers on specials with substitution. And they honor military discount. Great job for keeping this place pleasant. …

One word, ATTITUDE! They don’t know their menu, yell at each other behind the counter and are rude, and lack any sense of pride in the food also. Not to mention they handed us the wrong drink and I had to ask for a fork to eat the rice and mashed potatoes they already gave us. I don’t eat fast food often and am reminded why. I never plan on returning to these guys.

I and my 8 year old son went to the Lacey Popeye’s this past Sunday(11⁄15). We ordered popcorn shrimp, chicken tenders and a side of mac n cheese. The 2 stars are for the chicken and the fact we were given our food right away. We will not be back however. 1) The front doors were filthy as if they hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. 2) The floor was slick; gease-like and our table kept sliding around when we barely touched it 3) There was someone sleeping/camped out in the dining area which was rather disconcerting especially with children around. 4) Like I said, the chicken was decent but the shrimp — not. The majority of the shrimp were the size of a dime and more breading than shrimp. The shrimp that were a little larger were not deveined(gross) and were chewy; overcooked. The mac n cheese also left something to be desired(chewy noodles). Given the fact that the shrimp was inedible, this was the only thing my 8 year old could eat(we only got 2 chicken tenders). For almost $ 12 w/drink… I’d expect a better.

I love Popeyes… but this particular restaurant could be better. The staff here isn’t always great or friendly, and I’ve had my order messed up a few times. Once, while my husband and I were eating there, a girl behind the counter was talking to her coworker loudly about how she had a stomach ache the day before from the chicken she had eaten, which she said was«probably because the grease was bad». Not something you like to hear while you’re eating at said restaurant…

Spicy chicken was very good, but fries were soggy. Waited way too long and customer service is horrible. Wont be going back here. Cashier went and took a break for four minutes while order sat waiting for the onion rings. She came back and yelled at the cook for the onion rings and he yelled. back they were there 5 minutes ago, but she was too short to see them on top shelf.

I arrived at Popeyes at 10:11 am today, placed my order and waged for my food to be prepared. The store had just opened at 10:00 am. As I looked around, I could not help but to immediately notice the customer seating area had not been cleaned from the night shift prior to closing. I observed crumbs on seats and countertops, as well as numerous finger prints on glass windows. I pointed this out to the daytime manager, who immediately went to work himself, wiping down the areas. I have been going to this location for years since it has opened and have at various times and dates shown up for drive thru a little too late just prior to employees going home. I have noticed at times the staff just sitting or lined up inside, waiting for I would have to imagine a specific time for the manager to unlock the door and let them go home. Don’t get me wrong about the food and the personnel working there. Both are great and exceptional. A little more focus on the interior prior to closing would make for a much better atmosphere for arriving customers and allow the morning crew to focus on their missions.

Worst customer service I’ve had. I waited in the drive thru line 30 mins before closing and nobody would take my order and when I went to go into the lobby area 15 minuets before closing they abruptly shut all the lights off. I sat in the parking lot trying to get a hold of management and 3 of their employees were hanging out in front of the doors staring me down. They were disrespectful and I would not recommend.

Friday Night Hours are wrong… They were closed at 10:30, so glad to get off the highway for nothing!

I love popeyes, I really do. But the manager and the majority of the staff at this location are just cold and stingy. The chicken is usually always great, although sometimes they forget things, even on a dine-in order. Like on my last visit, even though the ticket was attached to my basket of chicken, the worker failed to put in my side and my sauces for my chicken tenders. No problem… I’ll just go up and ask for them. The worker was very apologetic and went to grab some fries, I could see he was giving me extra fries so I though that was nice. But oh wait… what is that? The stingy manager starts harassing him and tells him to let the extra fries drop away. That’s fine… I wasn’t expecting extra food but it certainly shines a light on how inconsistent franchises can be. Look at Chipotle… all the stores are store owned, everything is the same in every location, no price differences, etc. Then look at popeyes, the managers out to save every penny they can. And that’s not the only thing that I had a problem with with my last visit. My chicken«tenders» were more like mini nuggets, not the usual chicken I’m accustomed to. Maybe management is trying to cut costs here as well? DID I MENTION, EXTRASAUCESARE $ 0.33CENTSEACH! And god forbid you want to get a different sauce because you don’t like it… it’s like you’re trying to steal something from them.

Excellent fried chicken, catfish, fries etc. Popeyes food has more flavor and spice than the other chicken chains. For example, the spicy chicken will actually leave some heat on your tongue and you can see the red cayenne on the meat after you’ve taken a bite. The gravy has bits of pork and herbs mixed in. Not just salty brown liquid. The seasoned fries are always hot, crisp, and coated with a flaky batter. As for the biscuits, oh yeah, buttermilk flavor all the way. A biscuit topped with popeyes strawberry jam, well, I call that dessert. I find Popeyes frying process is superior in that the chicken turns out very crispy and less greasy every time. I’ve never been served soggy or cold chicken at this location. Don’t even get me started about the sweet tea. It’s «melt your teeth» sweet.

In the many times I’ve come to this Popeyes, something goes wrong about 50% of the time. No kidding. Either I have to wait up to 20 minutes for chicken… at a chicken restaraunt, they mess up the order, or there’s just a bad attitude from the staff. Would be barely tolerable if the food was good and/or cheap. Unfortunately that’s often not the case. The chicken pieces are tiny for what they cost.

Had a super great experience dining in today. A the front employees greater us as we came in. Order came out fast and there was one fellow checking back on us and handed customers wet naps. My bf was super pleased with their customer service! Like I’ve said before, it’s hard to give ratings on fast food chains since they’re a standard already to abide by whether employees follow them or not. My family also goes through the drive through here a lot and have never had problem.

Came to try the ghost pepper wings. They were pretty good, unfortunately the service was not. I ordered via the speaker and when I pulled up, they had to ask me my order AGAIN! Which meant that my order was no where near ready. I had to pull up and wait for my order.

When I lived in Oklahoma, Popeye’s were everywhere, but I never stopped in to try one out. Yesterday I stopped and checked out this store and was pleasantly surprised. I mean, it’s a fast food chain, so for what it is, it’s really good. At least it was yesterday. Food was fresh, hot and delicious. I’d have given five stars, but their fries remind me of Jack in the Box’s fries; only good if eaten within about 3 minutes of being yanked from the fryer. Good fast food.

Years ago I loved Popeyes but I have issues with this company and with this location in particular. Company: Price point small sides spicy chicken is no longer spicy This location: always slow last visit employees seemed clueless/untrained chicken is always either overcooked or sits out too long and is allowed to dry up. Last batch was particularly bad. It makes me sad that 40 years ago juicy delish fried chicken was consistently available from many places, but now even fried chicken chains cant seem to make a decent batch. Just one more thing that America cant do well anymore.

Wanted to like it but all I can say is yuck. The chicken may be OK as we did see a lot of folks picking some up but I ordered the catfish… and it was not good. Fish was served to me only slightly warm and my side dish of cajun rice was tasteless. If this was the only place to eat in the I could possibly be back but with so many choices in the area I think I will go elsewhere in the future. To be fair, the service was good and the employees were friendly… but I came here to eat.

Three piece chicken meal for $ 7.99 and you get no sides but a biscuit? Two out of three pieces of chicken are WINGS? I won’t be back. The chicken I had was okay, but clearly the service and management oversight is horrible.

I visited this particular location: at least three times before I’m actually writing this review. I have tried Popeyes back in Michigan and my experiences had always been good. Naturally, this being a chain fastfood restaurant, I expect to have the same experience if not better. The first time I went to this location, I was pretty surprised to find an extra biscuit in my combo. So I thought to myself, «Cool. I can get use to this.» I mean, free food is free food right? A couple of days later, when I saw their commercial on TV — and I guess they must have some good commercials because I only eat here after I see one lol — I was dying to try their waffle chicken, so I drove to that side of town and plan on having that for dinner. When I reached for the door of their lobby it was locked! When I look at their lobby hours, it says they’re open until 8. Granted I tried the door at 755(I looked at my watch) they should STILL be open, right? Fast forward a couple of days later. I was craving their chicken again, and again decided to drive all the way to that side of town since I had an appointment there anyway. I figured I’ll try the drive thru this time around. I ordered the same exact order I did my first visit. After I paid, I was told to pull up front and they’ll bring my order to me. I waited about FIFTEEN minutes before my food came out! Really??? This was supposed to be the DRIVETHRU of a FASTFOOD restaurant! Nothing fast there! The ONLY reason for a two-star instead of a one-star rating is the food. Popeye’s is one of my guilty pleasures. When I expect my food to be greasy and salty, Popeye’s delivers. Having said that, THIS Popeye’s really should do a double take on their service and efficiency just as TWO other UnilocalERS before me pointed out. It’s sad for me but lucky for them that they are the ONLY Popeye’s in this city. Otherwise, I would’ve gone to another location. I will be back for the food but I don’t think it’ll be anytime soon thinking of my previous experiences at this location.

Always like good fried chicken, and Popeyes has it. Always a debate if I should have mild and spicey. Think after yesterday I like mild best. I seem to always have the red beans and rice, but this time I opted for onion rings. They had the smooth batter(not like corn meal) and they were actually good… probably some of the better ones I’ve had(though big tom has the best)
