I went to Hair Masters to see what this $ 10 haircut was all about. I’m not the type to pay $ 40 to $ 100 for a haircut, I think it’s ridiculous so a $ 10 first-​timer deal was something I had to try. I walked in, Lisa took me in immediately, she was friendly, cut my hair just like I wanted, paid her and walked out. I definitely got my money’s worth and I am satisfied.
I’m an easy going girl and not too into hair, make up, nails and stuff so this place was perfect for me. No pretentious hairdressers or bougie types.

Was new in the area and based on Unilocal reviews my daughter and I decided to try Hairmasters out. No appointment was needed, all the girls are very friendly, and do a great job. My daughter gets her hair cut and the Brazilian blowout done by Lisa and looks wonderful!

My husband took my daughter and son here to get haircuts last week. My daughters hair was cut completely crooked. The lady also took off 2.5 inches instead of 1. It looked horrible! She had been growing her hair out and it was just touching her shoulders and it’s now so short. We went back so we could complain and have it fixed and they were closed. We had to go to another salon and have them even it out. They couldn’t believe how crooked it was! My daughter said the lady really rushed and had a timer set and was obviously cutting it as quickly as possible.
We went in today to get a refund. I had to fight to get it! They instead tried to give us a coupon for a free cut! Like we’ll ever go there again! She made lots of excuses and said it was because my daughters hair was damp and that’s why she cut it crooked. Don’t go here! Horrible staff that don’t know what they’re doing

I LOVE Amanda! she was the previous manager at Fantastic Sam’s in La Verne and moved to Hairmasters. I gladly followed her over because she knew what to do with my hair when no one else did! I can’t speak for the other stylists, but they all seem to have their chairs full and happy customers. Amanda is very kind and remembers things about you and your family. She does a great job and is just so great!

Hairmasters offers speedy and consistent service. I am in and out in less than 30 minutes — I usually do walk-​ins. Martha and Vicky are skillful in men’s hair. I have been coming to Hairmasters in La Verne for 10 years now. My whole family has used their service various times since 2005. Very family oriented. Hairdressers are friendly and talkative.
Overall, It’s a monthly pit stop I do to keep my hairstyle in check.

Hairmasters was recommended to me by a friend when I needed to get my hair styled for a formal event and I haven’t gone to any other salon since. I am now a regular client and I absolutely love all the stylists, they treat all of their customers like family! And most importantly my hair comes out perfectly every single time. I will never go anywhere else. No other place can compare to the amazing women at Hairmasters! I highly recommend you go give it a try.

Martha and her stylist really do a great job in making you feel comfortable while getting cut, and confident once you walk out! I’ve been going to Martha for years now. She has years of experience and does her best to give you the exact cut you want. The salon is cozy, great lighting and a restroom you can use. They always have fresh coffee ready just in case you need a buzz while getting buzzed. I will continue to visit this great place and keep spreading the good word about this great small business In La Verne! Your the best Martha!

went here due to a coupon and they were offering a better deal for first time customers 10.00 ya cant beat it. even everyday price inexpensive. nice, fast, fun to chat with, ill b back which is more than I can say about the nail salon in the same shopping center across the way

I had written this review, and for some odd reason, the Unilocal Software decided I wasn’t a reliable source. I guess because I haven’t written very many reviews? How bizarre that a «software» can decide what to leave in and what to leave out.
I have been going to hairmasters for years now, so I indeed feel my review is worthwhile, so here it is again in it’s entirety.
After trying many different salons, my family and I finally found Hairmasters. At first, we just rolled the dice on whom to use, but after trying most everyone, we all chose our favorite stylist. They are all very good, but my son and I love Martha, who just happens to be the owner. We are no frills type people… love the just wash and wear for normal days, with just a minimum of styling for other times. Martha is consistent and always gives us what we are looking for. So, we have been going to Hairmasters for quite a few years now.

I saw all the wonderful reviews and thought I would try this place. They allow walk ins which made me wonder, if they are so great how is it they can take you in like that?
I showed the woman a picture of how I wanted my hair to look. She said it would be no problem. She started cutting and I remarked it looked way shorter than the picture and she still kept cutting! I was shocked when she got through. And when I got home, my husband pointed out that one side was much shorter than the other. He was right! No thanks. I am not sure where all these five star reviews are coming from, but as for me, I will go elsewhere.

I’ve been having my hair done by Martha (owner) way before she even became owner of this salon. She’s simply the BEST at everything she does. Im NOT a picky person but Ive always loved what shes done. Shes not only beautiful inside and out but also very talented. Love her.

After reading the great reviews I decided to try this place out, and it defiantly did not disappoint. Martha did my hair, she was very very quick and the haircut came out nothing less than perfect. Oh, and the prices are the best in town, so I recommend this salon to everyone!

Walked in without an appointment and needed a haircut and color correction. My stylist was Martha and she was awesome! I’m probably the pickiest person ever and I was very happy! She got rid of my orange! Plus a haircut and style for under $ 50?! I’m definitely going back!

I’ve only used Hairmasters since my barber moved here about two years ago. It’s located next to Tuesday Morning in La Verne. There seems to be a good mix of clients age wise and the stylists are always super polite. As a guy, my hair is easy, so I can’t comment about how adept the stylists are with shaping hair to conform with current fashion trends, but I’ve been pleased with my experiences there. My barber, Joanie Tynes, always treats me well.
