Hair By Ali Partain at Ricciolo Salon

After going to the same stylist for over 10 years, it was time to make a change. I was super nervous about the prospect of having someone new with no personal recommendations touch my hair. After researching A LOT of salons & stylists, I found Ali through Unilocal.I checked out reviews and some of the images posted here and on Ali’s website.
When I finally made the decision to call Ali it was awesome. She was very nice, friendly and accommodating. We set an appointment for a cut and hi-​lighting. I have naturally blonde hair with a mixture of brown and red natural undertones. I usually hi-​light my hair once or twice a year. This time, I wanted a vibrant blonde ombré’ from tips to middle with some extra mixed in throughout the crown.
Ali gave me exactly what I was hoping for. In the past, my hi-​lights have looked brassy. I have usually walked away hearing we can’t do «xyz» to your hair. Or thinking it was the best I was going to get. I always wanted more and thought I would never get it.
Upon our meeting I shared photos with Ali, of what I was looking for. She asked me a lot of questions, making certain to be sure of exactly what I wanted, Prior to doing anything to my near waist length hair, she went through the process and explained what she would be doing.
I was not one bit hesitant and was confident with Ali. I felt like she gave me her honest professional opinion. She was very thorough. We cut a couple of inches off and shaped up my style.
I can honestly say I FULLY recommend Ali Partain. I felt very comfortable with her. We chatted the entire time and it was like seeing a friend. I have received so many compliments on my hair over the past few weeks. My hair is in great condition, healthy. No dryness, brittleness or breakage.
I am so happy to have found Ali, through Unilocal no less. I look forward to many years of amazing hair by a wonderful stylist.

Ali always does a great job on my hair cuts and color. I have short hair so I go every six weeks for trims, and color touch up. We always have a conversation about how the previos cut worked out before she gets started with my cut. Ali really listens to my feedback, and I always leave happy with my cut and color. I took my mom to her when she was deperate for a cut, and color. She gave my mom a fantastic updated hair cut. I will continue to recommend Ali to my family, And friends.

In one word: AMAZING!!! I live in Santa Cruz now but I go down to So Cal from time to time, and when I do I’m sure to book an appointment with Ali while I’m there! I went in not really knowing what to do with my hair and left feeling great about what she chose to do!!! I told her that I would just leave it to the pro and she did not disappoint!!! I only wish that she lived in Santa Cruz so that I could go to her more often!!!

I had been looking for a good hair stylist for a while. One that would do a great job, but wouldn’t charge me an arm and a leg since I have short hair. My friend started going to Ali and was sold, she told me since I came to visit her a few times a week (I live in Sherman Oaks) I should give her a try. Best decision I could have made! She is absolutely great with my cut and color. I always leave a happy camper! Thank You Ali!

Your relationship with your hair stylist requires trust, I don’t trust anyone but Ali with my hair. She gives the best advice if I’m not sure what to do with my hair but also remembers the styles and color that are my go to’s.
If you’re new to Ricciolo’s you’ll love the atmosphere. Even if you’re just going in for a trim it always feels like a spa day. I drive from LA to Claremont because Ali takes care of me and my hair and I would never go anywhere else!

So glad I found Ali! She is amazing with color and cuts. My hair is really thick and curly and she knows how to tame it. I always leave the salon extremely happy and ready to go out on the town. Highly recommend her!
