Very nice and courteous. Extra points for being open on Christmas. Round Table came to the rescue when 5 unannounced relatives made a last minute surprise visit. Easy to get to and kid friendly. I would come back here again.

This place is far away my favorite pizza. Not only is with food absolutely delicious and always fresh the people here are amazing! They remember my name and my order every time and always ask how my family or friends are doing. They always ask personal questions and remember everything you’ve ever told them. They have the world’s greatest customer service. If you haven’t come here yet you need to come and try it.

I like this Round Table location. Good family environment. TV’s aren’t always on the best games but they’re always on. The salad bar is just okay… Don’t expect it to be fully stocked but, for the most part, it has the major components.
Pizza is always fresh and never too long of a wait. If there’s a large group ahead of you, pay and take a walk to Vons to Kill time.

Look, I am giving this place five stars purely because it has been an icon of La Mesa for decades and I worked here while in High School many moons ago and the pizza tastes the same and it makes me happy. Seriously, this place has barely changed at all in thirty years… besides the people who work here. Some might see this as a bad thing but I don’t.
The pizza has this unique spin on it, flavor if you will, just like it did back in the 80’s. Every time I visit my folks I insist on getting pizza from here — I love that they put TONS of toppings on, and take it all the way to the edge on their traditional pizza. My faves — Veggie and the King Arthurs.
I will be back RT, again and again

I’m here for lunch now. They advertise a pizza buffet, for $ 7.99, with drink. So I show up at the counter, request the buffet, pay for it, and realize the buffet consists of two pizzas, nether of which I like. I asked if that’s all they have, and they say yes. Not sure how long this pizza had been sitting under these two heat lamps, but it doesn’t look good. The only thing that saves this, is the salad bar– which is very basic, worth no variety. Don’t waste your money. …

1. $ 7 personal pan pizza ‘1 topping’: not worth the money. The ‘1 topping’ is a hyperbole b/​c the zucchini was sliced so thinly (nanometers?) that it just tasted like a plain cheese pizza.
2. All televisions had sports playing. 3 of the televisions had the same channel (Arizona Cardinals vs. Seattle Seahawks.) I heart sports but clearly they have a bias/​partial towards a specific customer. Wish they were non-​discriminating by having the news or something family friendly.
Verdict: I’d return just for the service and carry out, not the pizza or dine-​in.

The lunch buffet is terrible I’ve tried it several times I am not going back. It tastes like they skimp on the pizza sauce, and it is greasy and not very flavorful. The salad bar is ok just average. I remember when Roundtable used to be good. The location in Spring Valley is better.

Raining, thundering in San Diego today… a perfect day to stay inside and watch old movies.
Pizza sounds great. But from where? There are 4 or 5 places nearby. Round Table is close, let’s try them.
A deal for $ 22 includes a large supreme and 6 wings. Delivery promised in 45 minutes… arrived in 25 minutes. Pizza was hot and tasty.
OK, I’ll give it another try. Good stuff!

Why are you so far from my house RTP??? That’s the only problem. They are expensive and for good reason. The ingredients and quality is well worth it. Let you in on a little secret– the sandwiches are bomb!!! They are the highlight. Some other notables are the white sauce, on any pizza AND cheesy garlic twists. It usually takes us an hour, round trip, to pick it up and we don’t mind a bit. I worked there 20 years ago and it is still just as great.

This place has two things going for it, great pizza, and great employees. I am a regular customer here. I have been coming almost every week for a year or more. I have always been a fan of Round Table. I personally think they have the best tasting pizza of any chain. I also like the catchy names the have for the different combos and if you use coupons the price is fair.
The employees are always friendly. More so now that most of them recognize me when I come in the door. More often than not, I am offered a drink (free of charge) while waiting for my to go order. I have never had a problem with my order and if I ever did I am sure they would do whatever it takes to make it right.
They have some retro games here as well, lots of TV’s, a salad bar (that I have never tried) and beer.
The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because the location décor is a bit dated and well worn. It gives the place character but newer is cleaner.

Mainly every visit to this restaurant is during the week at around 7pm and the restaurant is always empty at this time. The restaurant is in a shopping center with lots of parking. The place is very clean, big, and even has video game machines in the back. The pizza is always delicious and comes out hot everytime!
The man in the front taking order seemed rude or as if he was forced to be there (maybe having a bad day), we wanted a small pizza and he said he was out. This happened to me once before at another pizza chain and they gave me other options or found way to accomodate me, but not here. (Oh well, more pizza for me i guess)
Overall pizza is delicious everytime and they always get the order right, they have a nice big TV playing a good movie or sports. Young guy making the pizza seems like hes having a good time and is very friendly! Looking for delicious pizza in La Mesa area give them a try!

If I could give this location negative stars, I would. I live exactly 1 mile away from this store and I called in for delivery and whoever answered was rude and said they weren’t able to deliver to me because I wasn’t in there ‘territory’?? And the only other round table near me is closed. Will definitely be spreading the word about my experience so none of my friends or family spend any of their money with this business :)

Man so good! I ordered here for the first time a few weeks ago and since it was my first time the owner/​manager gave me a free set of 6 twists! So nice. Went here for a lunch buffet last saturday as well and it was a deal! 8 bucks and they had tons of options of pizza along with salad and a drink. Cant be beat. So glad I just moved to La Mesa so I can go here all the time.

Wow the customer service here is really what bumped them up to a five star worthy review for me.
I called and placed an order for delivery and the gentleman on the phone asked if I had ever ordered with them before. When I told him this was my first time he said he wanted to make sure I had an amazing experience with them and I definitely did!
After we gave him our order he gave us a free order of cheesy twists with our order!
Delivery was fast and the pizza was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be ordering from here again with this level of customer service who wouldn’t?!

I’ve always been very fond of Round Table Pizza. In my opinion is the best and most quality of the pizza chains. This location in particular is awesome. The staff there is super friendly, they always make sure you have redpeppers, plates, etc. They always get your order right the first time and the time they quote you is the real time its ready to pick up.
The food its self is also top notch. They aren’t skimpy on the toppings at all, they PILE it on. You defintely get your money’s worth at this place. The sauce is great and the crust is amazingly cooked perfect every time. The salad bar there is also great, they have actual veggies not just romaine lettuce and dressing.
Out of all the Round Table resturants I’ve visited, this is my favorite in San Diego.
