Imil, his family, and his store have always exceeded my expectations. I have a hard time stumping him on beers. His selection is excellent, and he knows about all of them. Want to try something new? Let him help. I have always been blown away by his suggestions. Need Propane? Firewood? He has you covered.

Great neighborhood liquor store with a huge selection of wine, beer, and spirits. Decent selection of groceries and cigars too. The best part about this store is the owner; he is very friendly and helpful.

I always stop by here to pick up some Arizona tea when I go next door to get a burrito. The place is pretty small, but from what I saw they have a good selection of beer. They have some hard to find beers also. Their prices are competitive. The man working there was very helpful and friendly. They can expect my repeat business.

I cannot say enough awesome things about Sam & his store. He’s incredibly nice and helpful, his store has an amazing selection, and he’s always got a live NFL or MLB game on. There are whole aisles dedicated to imported beers and micro brews. He also has all the snacks you normally snatch up when you stumble down for the last case of the night. You can tell he really values his customers, too. I rarely go in there to find him NOT chatting with another customer who’s obviously just as frequent a patron as me. A great, reasonably priced liquor store/​market? I’m in.

The owner Sam runs a very nice little liquor store that carries most of the local breweries. He has a vast selection of microbrews and imported beers, the selection is staggering. Also, if you are looking for something special, he will order a case, only if you wanted a single bottle.
I used to go to BevMo but I find his selection just as good and the customer service is excellent.
If you are looking for great beer in East County San Diego, I would check him out.

I grew up in this neighborhood and I mostly visited this liquor store because it was the closest walk. Over the years my family and I have become friends with Sam, the store’s owner. We’re not the only of Sam’s customers to have this type of connection with him.
He knows the name of pretty much anyone who comes to his store twice. Sam keeps a good relationship with this customers, and for anyone in need, he’s always willing to offer help or advice. He’s even helped me fix my car a couple times.
As a liquor store owner, he’s got a huge selection of wine, beer, and liquor. He’s got a bigger selection of groceries than 7 – 11 and I can get anything I need there. He also makes keys and cashes checks, and knows pretty much everything about everything.

Its an average little liquor store. The guy who works here is nice and they have an ATM. The best thing about this place is that you can pick a San Diego CityBEAT here, Its the only place that has them in La Mesa.
